Ryoma pov

I do not know.

There are many things that I do not know.

Is it wrong for people to kill each other for their own benefits? Is it wrong to want to kill people for revenge?

I do not know.

Hell, I don't even know why I am still standing here, alive.

As I was looking at the corpses of the people I killed, the corpses of my family, It dawned upon me.

It doesn't matter.

Every single person is just meat with puny ambitions. Right or wrong does not exist. Everything is done for oneself.

So what was my puny ambition? Was it to survive? Was it to become stronger? Was it to avenge my family?

With my knowledge and cursed technique, I might as well seek the answer to this question.

Goodbye, Father. Goodbye, Kurogane Clan. I shall leave this place and discover the meaning of my existence. No one will stop me.

3rd person

A man sat alone in a cafe. Except for the stitches on his forehead, he looked quite ordinary. He was drinking coffee.

"So the Kurogane Clan has been wiped out, huh. With their behaviour, they had it coming."

"The seven-year-old son of the Clan Head apparently killed two Grade 2 sorcerers and one Grade 1 sorcerer. This no ordinary brat. Sigh, If it wasn't for Sukuna, I would just take over his body. A pity." thought the man.

"He might make it hard for me in the future. I might as well kill him while he's still a child."

As the man finished thinking, he quickly paid for the coffee and left.

Ogi (1)

In an unnamed forest, Ryoma pov

It is night time. I am sitting next to a fire that I had started a few minutes ago.

Three days had passed after that day. I have been analyzing my new cursed technique.

It essentially gives me the ability to "steal" something random from my opponent upon contact, taking it permanently. I don't know if there is a cooldown on one person or if I can just "steal" only one time from someone. So far I stole lifespan, from which I didn't feel any difference, cursed energy, which expanded my cursed energy reserves, and physical strength, which made me stronger physically. It seems like an overpowered cursed technique, but it's true power will be apparent after experimenting with it countless times. My biggest hope is that it can steal other cursed techniques, making it my own.

Speaking of which, I think I might get to experiment with it sooner than I thought.

3rd person pov

As Ryoma noticed someone's presence behind him, he quickly jumped away from the campfire and faced the man who was stalking him.

"Ryoma Kurogane of Kurogane clan, I, Ogi Zen'in of the Zen'in Clan, will be your executioner." said a tall and slim man with a serious look on his face as he walked towards the campfire.

"Ogi Zen'in, huh. To think that I will be the one to kill him instead of Maki Zen'in. If this keeps happening then my advantages will slowly disappear like they never existed." thought Ryoma as he prepared for the fight. "This is going to be very hard though."

As Ogi Zen'in approached Ryoma, he stopped walking and ignited his blade.

Both Ogi and Ryoma stood before each other for a while, before dashing towards each other.

Ryoma knew perfectly that Ogi's sword skills were top-notch and that he could strengthen his own body with cursed energy. He was a formidable enemy that Ryoma should have not even thought about killing.

That would have been the case if he didn't have a cursed technique that could turn the tide of a battle with a single touch of the hand.

Ryoma didn't know how and why Ogi found him, but he was willing to bet on the fact that he wasn't aware of his cursed technique's capabilities. He would only know that Ryoma killed 3 sorcerers.

As they dashed towards each other, the flames on Ogi's blade exploded violently and Ryoma's already inhumanely strong body was strengthened to the maximum by cursed energy.

"This brat is fast." thought Ogi, as he prepared to slash Ryoma from the left.

"You won't" thought Ryoma, as he prepared to dodge the blade that would come from the left side of Ogi.

But just as Ogi was about to swing his arm from the left, his body instantly did a 180 turn and he swung from the right.

*Slash*

Ryoma couldn't react fully in time, receiving a deep cut in his abdomen.

"This brat is quite good." thought Ogi.

"He slashed at me with his back towards me? He's that good, huh." thought Ryoma as he examined the cut.

"You're weak. Accept your death with dignity. It will be less painful." said Ogi.

Without replying, Ryoma simply dashed towards Ogi.

As Ryoma dashed towards him, Ogi saw an opening. He made a piercing motion towards the body of the young child.

Just before the blade pierced Ryoma's torso, he twisted his body in a way that it pierced his neck.

"What is this kid doing? Does he want to die? No, can't be. I must be cautious.

 But it was all too late for Ogi, who was too bewildered by the action of the child for a split second, failed to notice that Ryoma had already touched his hand.
