Evil Sorcery?

Raymond was gobsmacked when he heard that. It hasn't even been a month since he came to this world and he was already married.

In his previous life he hadn't even considered dating anyone after his parents passed away let alone marrying someone.

"Since you are a noble and Jasmine is a commoner, you have the right to refuse the marriage. But the question is, are you going to refuse?" His uncle's question brought him out of his stupor.

Raymond thought about Jasmine, she was very cheerful, innocent and always cared for him.

Did he like her? Yes he did. Did he love her? He didn't know.

'Fuck love. Who cares about that?'

"Like hell I am going to refuse." Raymond said loudly.

"Haha, that's good, I would have beat you up if you refused." Victor laughed.

"Yeah, right." He said flatly.

Victor's mouth twitched in slight anger after he heard that flat tone.

'Damn brat, just because he got stronger he has no respect for his elders.'

"If you are done with your cup of wine, let's go back home." Victor downed his drink and got up to leave.

Raymond too drank quickly and followed his uncle. Along the way Raymond had a vague feeling that something was not right.

*******

Allen Clover was a very lecherous person, he would rarely think with his brain, most of the time his little brother did the thinking for him.

That's why he went after Jasmine as soon as he heard that the princess was cancelling her engagement with Raymond.

He forgot the fact that he still had to answer to Victor if anything happened to Raymond and tried to kill him when he stopped him from getting to Jasmine.

But his little brother stopped thinking when he was faced with Raymond's absurd strength, he had tried using every martial arts move he knew to beat down Raymond, but he could not even leave a bruise on his skin.

He started to think with his actual brain and was contemplating whether to leave the city or not. He had ordered one of his servants to stay near his room and spy on him.

As soon as he heard from his servant that Raymond had casually beaten up two Grandmasters, he did the only thing any sane person would do.

He packed up his luggage and quietly left the city. He didn't even take his wife with him, after all he could always marry someone else if he survived, moreover his wife was a Grandmaster and she would beat him up everytime he tried to get closer to her.

He had been married to her for a while now and she didn't even let him touch her. She approached him six months ago out of nowhere and proposed to marry him.

At that time his little brother was the one who was doing the thinking for him. So he readily agreed to marry her without checking her background just because she was extremely beautiful.

Now that he was using his brain, he found it absurd that someone that beautiful would offer to marry him for no apparent reason.

He was just a nobody compared to Raymond who was the son of the previous family head. He didn't belong to the direct bloodline of the Clover's. She would gain nothing from marrying him, if she went to young masters from the other noble families, any one of them would marry her without batting an eye.

He shook his head to get rid of the thoughts about his wife, he had left the family and he was now a man walking towards his new future.

He only managed to go a few kilometres out of the city before he met a strange looking man who felt vaguely familiar to him.

"Eh? Allen, is that you? Why does it look like you are running away from home?"

As soon as he heard the voice he realised that it was Grandmaster Vincent who guarded the family library.

Now that Allen thought about it, the family guards were searching for him since afternoon because he had disappeared suddenly.

He took a closer look at Vincent and saw that he was in an extremely poor state, his hair was in disarray. He had blood leaking out of almost every part of his body, his clothes looked like rags worn by beggars.

"Ah, Grandmaster Vincent, what happened to you? Why do you look like that?" Allen asked, feeling curious.

Vincent's already bloodied face reddened after hearing Allen's questions.

He had no idea what happened to him after he tried to mess with that brat Raymond outside the library. He was just making trouble for Raymond out of boredom and the next thing he knew he was flying outside the city.

He was flying ridiculously fast and would have died if he crashed with a mountain or something on the way. Thankfully he had affinity with the wind element and somehow managed to slow down his descent before he crashed inside a forest.

But that didn't stop him from taking damage all over his body, his clothes were shredded due to the friction with air and after scratching into tree branches. He had scratch wounds all over his body.

To a Grandmaster these wounds were only superficial and could be healed easily. But he could not wash away the humiliation he felt when he remembered he was in this situation because of Raymond.

His thoughts were simple actually, since Raymond was a trash who couldn't cultivate he must have used some evil sorcery to gain power. That was the only way he could explain himself flying past the city after messing with Raymond.

"Hmph, it's all due to that rascal Raymond, he used some kind of sorcery to send me to the forest outside the capital, I had to fight all the wild beasts in there before I managed to get out of the forest." He clenched his fist in self-righteousness.

Even though Allen doubted fighting all of those wild beasts would leave behind only scratch marks, he didn't pay much attention to it. His interest was piqued when he heard about Raymond using sorcery.

"What? Sorcery? That explains it. Grandmaster Vincent, you have to help me get my revenge, it's because of Raymond that I am leaving the city." With that he went on to explain what had happened between him and Raymond two weeks ago.

After hearing Allen's story Vincent was certain that Raymond was using some kind of evil sorcery to increase his power. There were often stories about people without talent for cultivation using sorcery that involved human sacrifice as a means to gain power.

"No, we have to do this carefully. If we did something to Raymond without proof, Victor would eat us for breakfast. Haha, since you fancy his maid, how about we capture her and make her our witness? After that you can have your fun with her." Vincent quickly thought of a plan.

As soon as Allen heard that, his brain tried to warn him to just leave the city and never come back.

Alas, his will of the D prevailed over his rational thinking and he nodded his head excitedly to show his approval of Vincent's plan.

After that they quietly made their way back to the city. Vincent stayed in one of the inns instead of returning to his home, because he wanted to make a dramatic entry into the family manor after he had proof that Raymond was using evil sorcery.

He told Allen to call for him as soon as he found Jasmine alone. He would then sneak into the clan to capture her and take her back to some place private to inquire about Raymond's misdeeds.

Allen went back to Clover family compounds and ordered one of his servants to keep a close eye on Jasmine.

The next evening his servant informed him that Raymond had gone outside with his uncle and Jasmine was alone in his room.

He quickly informed Grandmaster Vincent and waited for him to arrive near the family compounds. As soon as he saw Vincent arriving he quickly led him to Raymond's room.

*******

Jasmine woke up after sleeping for a while and seeing Raymond was not in the room she got up from the bed and put on her clothes.

She started cleaning the room after that seeing as it had dust settled over most of the places due to not cleaning for a long time.

"Lalala~Lalala~~" she was humming a tune while she was cleaning the room. She had been in an extremely good mood for the past two days.

She and Raymond had finally become closer after all this time and there were so many things she wanted to try with him.

'Hehe~'

Jasmine had a toothy grin on her face when she thought about it.

She heard a sound coming from outside the door and thinking it was Raymond she quickly went to open the door.

But she came face to face with two men who were Allen and Vincent.

"Huh? Grandmaster Vincent and Master Allen, what brings you here? If you are looking for master, he is not here, please com-"

"Hehe, perfect. We are not here for your master, in fact we are here to investigate your- ahem about your master in detail." Allen said, rubbing his hands together in lustful excitement.

"Cough, that's right we are here to bring you away for an inquiry, come with us, you need to answer some of our questions." Vincent said and grabbed her hand without giving her a chance to speak.

He wanted to take her away quickly and find out about Raymond's secrets, but soon to his absolute surprise he found out that he couldn't drag Jasmine with him.

Jasmine was startled when her hand was grabbed by Vincent. She shook her hand and threw her arms around in fright.

Crash~

Soon there was a sound of someone crashing with something. She looked around and found Vincent who had crashed into a nearby wall and was coughing up blood.

"Y-you! What? How?" Allen's mind blanked for a moment when he saw Jasmine who was a Martial Master swatting Grandmaster Vincent away like a housefly.

"Eh?" Jasmine was too stunned to answer him.
