CHAPTER 21

"Boss,they have arrived and settled in,one of the spy Sebastian sent to trail Xander informed him and next week is the press conference for the Carlos empire.Should we prepare for battle ?,he asked.

"No,we have had enough shedding of blood in the past years,we can't continue losing more men because when it comes to strategizing and fighting,I can see they are better than us",Sebastian said.

This time around we won't have to lose any of our men again,I will have think about what I want to do carefully,just tell everyone to go low and go on with their businesses,when it is time to strike,I will let you all know he said.

"Xander and Brenda,welcome to hell because when I am done with you,you would wish you were never born,enjoy your peace while you can until I am ready to take it from you". Sebastian said a big smile on his face.

For two years there was no news of Sebastian and all the attacks had stopped,Xander had resumed fully in the Carlos empire,and within the two years he had enlarged the empire,they had branches in almost every cities.

Brenda was also not doing bad in her medical field,she was the one heading the Carlos Hospital,when Brenda and Xander were less busy they still went for charity works,the one their mother and grandfather were doing, alot of students benefited from the Carlos empire because there was always scholarship for every child who didn't have any one to support them.

Anywhere they went, people sang their praises,even the widows were put on monthly salaries minus food and accomodations.

The Carlos siblings despite their busy schedule always created time to have lunch together and also go home together at the end of the day.

One day Xander went to pick his sister in the hospital so they could go and have lunch together as they always did,he was busy with his phone so he didn't see the lady coming with a kidney dish in her hand,they both collided and everything in the kidney dish fell off,his phone fell and the screen was broken,Xander was pained but he couldn't say anything because he was also at fault.

Calista was an intern in the Carlos Hospital,she had been dreaming of working there ever since she was a child and the opportunity came.

It was her fifth month working as an intern and she was learning a lot,the tips stipends they were collecting was even more than enough to cover her bills.

On this faithful day,she was going to the injection room to drop the kidney dish,one of the children was greeting her so as she was responding she wasn't looking until she hit a hard wall.

The dish fell of from her hand and everything in it spilled out and to make matters worse,she look up and saw that Mr Xander the owner of the hospital was the wall she hit and his phone was on the floor with a broken screen.
