Amazons POV

To think, us Amazons were once named 'Undefeatable.' What a joke, I can only think of the shame we've brought upon ourselves more importantly, the shame we've brought upon Lord Ares himself. It overwhelmed me almost instantly, thinking about how Lord Ares must feel right now. I….I started crying. I can hear as more amazons around me begin to cry, whether in joy, relief, sadness or shame, I know not, however I know that in of years I been alive and all that I have been through, I cried-no we cried for the first time in history.

Ares POV————————-

I look down upon the now freed amazons and I see them, crying? I would have never thought of amazons to cry. I guess they are happy? Compared to their original fates this is a way better outcome. In the original the amazons were defeated and enslaved, during their enslavement they were raped. This led to the amazons hating men and subsequently capturing and raping men to breed more women. I wonder if they'll hate men now?

"Calliope, do you know why you've lost today?"

"Please forgive me my lord but we were outnumbered?"

"That played a role but as a whole no. You lost because Amazons as a whole have never experienced great loss or great defeat. You've lost amazons along the way dont get me wrong, but you've always won. Even if I trained you to never be overconfident, you still have that in your brain."

Calliope looks truly distraught at that information.

"However I cannot put the entirety of blame on you, I have failed you. I should've seen your folly coming."

"No, no, no lord Ares this all my fault, how could I push my fault on you lord Ares."

'I know its all your fault, you aint gotta tell ME girl.'

"Hmm…So be it, when they all get done crying, call back the missing amazons and meet me in your throne room."

Sometime later————————

ALL the remaining amazons are kneeled before me as I sit on Calliope's throne. Heh Im sitting on HER throne commanding HER people and she doesn't even care, in fact SHE LIKES IT. Its like they're Nazarick npc's level of loyalty.

"Calliope, you have sworn your life to me. When Hippolyta comes of age to be Queen you and 20 loyal Amazons will join my war dogs. You will be my Vice Commander."

"Yes Lord Ares!" She says while kneeling in front of me.

"Until then, you all will be punished for this embarrassing defeat. I expect this shame to push you Amazons on to be better in all capacity. Whether or not you hate all me or not after this does not affect me."

"YES LORD ARES!" They all respond, their voices booming in this room.

"Get ready ladies because tomorrow I'll train you so hard you might just kill yourself to end the pain."

They a get a terrified look on their face as they respond again.

Timeskip——————————(alot of timeskips in a really short amount of time.)

??? POV

"My king….*ughh* it i-is an honor to die by your side." One of my warriors say to me, even with 2 arrows in his body he still crawls to me.

"And it is an honor to have lived at yours." I reply. The soldier gives his final smile and dies right then and there. I look around only to see more of my soldiers dead or dying. Each one of them filled with arrows. I slowly get up as I am also with arrows in my body, these however will not stop me, THESE ARROWS WILL NOT STOP SPARTA, WITH MY DEATH RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW I PROCLAIM!

"I swear on the river styx, my spartans will come for you and your army Xerxes."

After I swear I begin to hear footsteps behind me, armored footsteps in fact. As I look back I see a beautiful woman, dressed in battle gear. "Who are you woman?" I cant help but ask, what is she doing here?

"It matters not what my name is boy, only that you have been chosen."

"Chosen for wha-"

"You, a male, have been chosen to join Lord Ares in his legion of great warriors. I suggest you accept for this is a great honor."

"You mean THE God of War himself has chosen ME, I am not stupid girl, why would A god choose me?"

"You think I would even begin to question him, I have no right to question Lord Ares, now will you join or not."

I look around at my people, then into the air to wonder why I haven't been showered with arrows yet, only to find them frozen in the air.

"Y-yes I do,*clears his throat* Yes I do."

"Hmph, let us go then 'Leonidas'.
