After Ian's warning, I couldn't help but become paranoid. "When will it come, from where?" that asshole only gave me vague information. Geto grits his teeth as he walks back and forth.

"You alright, Geto?" Shoko looks at Geto in worry. "Yeah, I'm fine." I force myself to smile at Shoko. "Relax, here, this should calm you down." I was surprised by the sudden cold in my cheeks as I see Satomi handing me a can of soda.

"Thanks." "No worries, we are all in this together." This is one of the very few times I can see Satomi truly smile without a mask. "What's happened to you? You weren't always so—" "I'm what?!?" Satomi's smile turns menacing as her own can is crushed by her.

"You know, soft." "Then let me show how soft I can be, hehehe." The menacing aura that Satomi releases gets even darker and suddenly vanishes as she smiles like a saint and says, "I'm going to kill you."

Satomi then starts to hit Geto as he only tries to block her punches. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry, alright?" "You'd better." Satomi stops her beating, Geto grins. "Last thing I remember is that we're all in this together, and then you hit me. You're kinda sending mixed signals here, Satomi." Geto then proceeds to run away laughing. "Ok, no mercy with you." Satomi then chases down Geto.

*Sigh* "Yare yare." Shoko looks at them and smiles. "ANNOUNCEMENT!! Students, the Tokyo and Kyoto goodwill has BEGUN!!"

"So it has begun. I can't wait to fight." A buff man stands up from the stone he has been sitting. "Let's start it off with a bang!!!" An immense and bright aura. "GEÍOSIS!!!" He then stomps on the ground, sending a shockwave, and a bunch of spikes made of the stones in the ground rush into Geto's position, which is then blocked by Satomi with her infinity as she stands in front of Geto.

"Dirt? Are they mocking us?!" Satomi jokes. "I'm pretty sure they didn't, but to be sure." Geto then summons a cursed spirit in the appearance of a rotten bride. "Cover your ears! Banshee howls!" Geto orders.

The cursed spirit screams immensely loud, causing the earth spikes to shatter while Satomi simultaneously uses her cursed technique to drag the attacker. "Hoo! Strong." The man grins and takes advantage of the dragging motion to launch a punch.

"Haibara!!" Shinku shouts while firing three piercing blood from his two shikigami and from his hands, one of them hitting Satomi, but her infinity manages to block it.

While the rest curves around Satomi and heads directly to Geto. "Shoko!!" Kusakabe shouts as both of them draw their swords and deflect the piercing blood. "Batto!!"

**Flashback:**

*Hugh! Hugh!* "You should take some rest," Kusakabe hands a bottle of water to Shoko. "I can't. I need to get stronger to keep up with those two. Hugh!" "Come on, be realistic, Shoko. Those two are monsters!! Special grade candidates!!!"

"If I think like that, I wouldn't get stronger!!! I'm sorry, Kusakabe-senpai. *Sigh* If I can't envision a stronger version of me, then I can't break free from my limitations." "Let me guess, Satomi managed to convince you into this." "Hehe, that's just it, isn't she? She didn't." Shoko flashes back to Satomi training.

"She did convince herself. After Geto appears, Satomi changes. She has become more hardworking, and I can feel her drive and her desire to get stronger. That inspires me to get stronger as well because I don't want to be left out by those two." Shoko smiles at Kusakabe.
