This is my first time putting effort into writing a novel so I do want some feedback on the writing quality and if you have a suggestion about the story. I plan on Goku having many love interests but not a tradtitional harem. If anyone is interested in what that means you will have to read to find out. Unfortunately ☹️ I am not a 'natural' at writing, I write my story because I want to be a part of this world and not just read other people's work. So each chapter is dreamed about wrote once on paper, then transferred to my laptop with a lot of editing between. Finally, after this whole process I listen to it again with TTS software and edit again. Sorry if you guys don't like the wait but I will try to send out at least 2 if we are lucky 4 chapters a week! I hope you give this story a try! (P.S. I like feedback currently I'm getting one or two comments and when I see these it does make me happy) (P.P.S if anyone understands how to get cover art for the book please let me know!)

Training Games

Two lonely space-pods shot through dark and empty space escaping a kingdom that would rather see them dead. Inside these two life-boats contained two eight-month infants, one was in a deep slumber which is normal behavior for any travelers in these pods. But the other was highly active which is normally very dangerous for space travelers due to the common to the development of space madness. I've started to play with my system functions, and I have found something interesting. Surprisingly the system is more interactive than I had originally realized. 'System' I initiated. ~Ding-Ding~ came it's response – 'Display window. Show stats' I commanded.

Progress – 46% complete – 361 days until travel completion – 24 hours = 1 day

Mission – Training – N/A % complete

Stats – Age: 10 months 4 days 3 hours – Ki: 41.2 – Magic Level: 0 – System connection: In progress – Broly's space-pod – functional.

Although I cannot see Broly's body status just the space pod's functions I found it interesting that I was able to interact with technology through the system so well. I could see the basic functions of his pod and I can easily direct where the pods eternal tracking information, start and stop life support or stasis support system. I had to thank the 'Voice' for granting the system to me because soon after leaving planet Vegeta I found a tracking device in Broly's pod. If we had continued towards earth being tracked by the king or worst Freiza it wouldn't be long before we were caught and killed. By some strange luck, my pod didn't have a tracking device. I guess this is why the original Goku didn't have any problems with non-earthlings until after he met his brother when was an adult. Matron Potota also worked her expertise in making the pods infant friendly installing a dietary formula specific for Saiyan children.

These space-pods have a nutrient system so the regular traveler won't die on trips that can take years to months. But without the formula for infants, we would suffer stunted growth. I am not sure if there was something similar installed for the original Goku but if not, it would explain why he was easily injured and lost his early memories. Before we left Bardock made a simple gesture of goodbye by placing his large, rough hand on my forehead. I felt comfort from his gesture... I knew we shared a bond but I never thought I would be this close to someone after my rebirth.

Although, I now felt a connection not just for one but for three people… it felt solid like... family. Taking a deep sigh Bardock stepped back from the space pod's door and shut it with a bang and moments later we were blasting off from the planet's surface. Before my stasis initiated, I connected my system with the two pods, controlling their direction and sent them towards planet Namek instead of the planet they were supposed to go. Oddly, our destination wasn't earth but a planet with the code name 46598752T, although its location is close to the planet and has is similar to the earth's atmosphere.

This planet is still a low-class planet much like earth, I couldn't help but wonder how the events in this timeline made Bardock pick a different planet altogether. Hopefully with these events so much more different from the manga's my family will be safe for the moment and in a few years, I will be able to meet up with them again. For now, we are on different paths and if I am able to save anyone (including myself), I needed to get stronger.

After a long while of asking the system questions, I found something interesting. If the "system" had an instruction manual I would honestly be very happy because each day I had to think of questions to ask the system to try to discover all its functions. After two months of asking questions and getting vague answers, I finally asked if it had any games I could play. It gave me several answers like card games interactive golf (which is similar to an app you would play on a smartphone,) and finally 'Training Games'. Apparently, it was similar to "image training" the DBZ warriors practiced when the Saiyan began to visit earth.

The only reason I didn't go totally insane within the endless darkness these last few months on my travel, is because of this game from the system. I have been spending continuous days fighting in this 'game', and to my delight, I get to fight the little green alien's that I had begun to hate. The system must have analyzed the creatures pretty well because I could even see the pulsing veins on their oversized heads, but they were the perfect battle opponents for a newborn like me. Considering their low battle power, they would be nothing to an adult Saiyan, but as a child, they were a challenge.

They were swift and silent, their power increased with my own, so I was able to get a real work out when battling them. After the first one hundred battles, I was able to defeat the aliens with combat Ki levels around thirty or forty. I loved these games, they felt very close to being real, the pain was dulled but it felt like what I guessed was actual combat. Although there was no glory to win these battles, I still felt a rush of battle craze and my level was raising every day. 'System' initiate training games - hard. I said feeling my mind go blank and the system directly dropped me into a battle zone. The scene was war-torn and billowing smoke wafted in the breeze, the ruined buildings stood lonely and abandoned.

This was the world the system created for my battle training, soon I felt several Ki approach me. Although I could not tell the precise battle power of the approaching enemies, I felt their pressure pressing down on me and it made the other part of me excited.

I felt my body inside the game expand and then I lost consciousness there had to be several hundred Kick coming towards my location. After battling in my ozaru form I woke up naked and surrounded by the fallen aliens, this was surprising I don't remember ever-transforming before. I didn't like losing control of my body even in a training game, but I guess if I was ever going to gain control of this form, I needed to try to get use to its transformation. In front of me was the display of my battle stats.

Enemy kills: 375 – Planetary stability: 100 % destroyed – Transformation control: 0% - Training Ozaru form: Complete failure.

I wasn't informed I was going to train the Ozaru form which frustrated me, but at least I knew it was now possible. But the experience was earth-shaking to say the least, even in the 'training games' I could feel my muscles strained and weak but my link with the space-pod let me know I was still safe. Since the space-pod hadn't been damaged, so assumed my transformation was just inside the game and dint affect the outside world at all. I decided to rest a few hours before attempting training again. When I exited the game, it had been two weeks since I last was awake, so I requested the system to display my stats again.

Progress – 51% complete – 347 days until travel complete – (24 hours = 1 day)

Mission – Training – N/A % complete

Stats – Age: 10 months 19 days 12 hours – Ki: 70.1 – Magic Level: 0 – System connection: In progress – Broly's space-pod – functional.

Apparently training the Ozaru form was the quickest way to advance my Ki mastery, but not the development of my skills. It might be the best use of my time to be able to use this format will, but I would lose out on Ki control. I decided to split the training between my two forms, I really disliked not being able to control my actions so if training this way helps then I will lose control as many times as needed. After a few hours of rest, I finally decided to enter my training mode again and this time I was back on planet Vegeta.

I was dressed in Goku's orange turtle school Gi. I was looking around the infant nursery, the containment pods were cleared from the area and I couldn't see some of the walls making the entire area seem larger. I started to wonder why the system would choose this area for my training battle until I felt an enormous Ki press down on me. The Ki felt familiar and it took me several minutes to understand from whom I recognized this Ki... King Vegeta. Turning around I saw the large robust man standing behind me with a smirk, his hulking form towered over me and his Ki level was several thousand above my own.

Apparently, the system wanted me to die. I got into my fighting stance to face off with an enemy even my father couldn't beat, but the king didn't advance. At first, I was confused. Then before I realized, I felt my body start to expand and hair started to grow thick, and I started to get taller at an astounding rate. I realized this was more training in my Ozaru form but soon my vision started to get fuzzy and I felt my rage spike. The last thing I remember I was running at King Vegeta as if he was my most hated enemy.
