Chapter 1
My name is Vinayak Goel. I come from a middle class family. Today is the last day of school before my final exams. As usual I'm going to school. Like the good student I am.
I walk on the street, thinking about the current light novel I'm reading. Yeah, even though my exams are around the corner, I can think about other things. Why? Cause I'm a genius! Just kidding, I'm totally an ordinary guy from an ordinary family. I've got few friends but they're pretty nice. I've got no luck with the ladies though.
As I take a turn on the street, I find one of my friends who also lives close by. His name is Arun.
"Hey", I greet him.
"Hey, how are your preparations for the exams", he replies.
"Great", I reply. Lie.
"I've got a few doubts to ask Mr. Tiwari", he says.
"Yeah sure, let's catch the bus first or we'll be late for school", I reply to him casually.
We then reached the bus stop an were just a bit early for the bus. We board the bus and are greeted by the sight of people with their books and notes, preparing for the exams. 'Yeah, total nerds', I say mentally.
The bus moves as my friend and I pick our seats and take out our study materials as well. A few minutes pass by and I take a look out of the window. At first I saw nothing unusual, but suddenly a bright light bursts from the window. Yeah, the window! 'Ow', I cried mentally.I feel pain all over my body. I try to reopen my eyes but found that I can't.
Time passes by. One minute. Two minutes. Five minutes. Thirty minutes.
I don't know how much time has passed but I still cannot see anything. Suddenly a blue screen pops in front of my eyes.
