Chapter 41: Date II

Suddenly Elizabeth's phone buzz. Opening the message Elizabeth reckons to not reply at the moment and then put aside the phone.

Eating half-heartedly just to fill the stomach for the energy required in shopping later Elizabeth to put on a fake smile. She was finding it hard how could she fall for such a person in her previous life.

"I am full Kevin, I have some other matters to attend so I cannot accompany you further. Hope you don't mind." Saying Elizabeth stand up from her seat.

Kevin was anxious and nervous hearing Elizabeth reply. 'Huh..! she is leaving just like that who is going to pay the bill and what about my purpose is this rich meal is plopped to my head without any benefit. Hell.. no!'

"Wait.." he voices out in a commanding tone.

Elizabeth turn back, "Well?"

"umm... Elizabeth that..!" Kevin didn't know what to say when she turns towards him, he naturally got on one knee, and pick out something from his coat pocket.

Elizabeth hasn't paid much attention to Kevin but today he was dressed gentlemanly. He was wearing a blue suit and his face was shining. Any teen would fall for him who hadn't seen the world yet, she agreed to this.

Elizabeth knew what was coming from his action she was trying to figure out how to stop it.

When she was meditating a sudden force pulls her to himself.

Elizabeth's head bumps into a hard chest. she winced in pain. "ouch..! you ass... you... you.." Meeting the deep eyes of the person Elizabeth shutters. She changed her words and amusement was visible on her face as she didn't expect him to be here.

"Yes," a deep protruding male voice resounded in the air.

Meanwhile, the person who is pissed off due to the interruption gets up on his feet to confront the intruder but when he sees who it was no words come out from his mouth.

Lucy was feeling extremely jealous at first regarding Kevin's action be hadn't even purpose her properly but she comforts herself it was all an act, she can't act willfully at this juncture and the abrupt interruption gives her satisfaction but for a short time seeing the figure that pulled Elizabeth Lucy was shocked.

After recovering from her initial shock Elizabeth notice the distance between them is traversable she distance herself from him.

"What are you doing here?"

"Nothing just picking you up" Aldrin replied nonchalantly.

"Pick up where to, Elizabeth and I have something important to discuss," Kevin voice out before Elizabeth could speak he was pretty sure that she will never leave him alone for a person she doesn't even know well.

"Natalie has said to me to bring you somewhere before you met here, I guess you will not disappoint her."

Without waiting for an answer from Elizabeth Aldrin turns towards Kevin giving him a smirk he just leads Elizabeth towards the exit.

"Kevin we will meet later it's important for me to follow him now," Elizabeth said while Aldrin was pushing her towards the exit.

Kevin didn't recover from what happened for a short moment of time and was in a daze later he clenched his hand into a fist. He was frustrated and groaned.

"Ah..!"

Nonetheless, he can't change anything and just left paying the bill in a gloomy mood. It was his saving for himself but he had to spend it on trash food without benefit. When the waiter received the bill he was not in a good mood seeing no tip maybe they were novie rich he thought and consoled himself.

Lucy was somewhat happy as Kevin didn't manage to propose to Elizabeth. She had to confirm that before the proposal Kevin was within her grasp she can't lose such an important trump card which is revealed recently. Lucy was not confident about Kevin after knowing his identity as he has a better option than her but she will make him feel that she is the best among them and even competently than Elizabeth.

She also takes her to leave the restaurant in a good mood there was not much left for her to see. A few seconds later she received a text which makes her smile wider and mood extremely good.

On the other hand, Aldrin makes Elizabeth sit on his Rolls Royce back and get seated beside her.

"Drive" he ordered sternly. The driver and assistant were frightened by his cold words but the driver automatically follows the instructions.

The assistant seems to notice Aldrin losing his temper after a long period. It was quite surprising. It was hard for sir to lose his temper. In recent years he never loses his temperament even in extreme conditions and maintains a cold attitude but today was an eye-opener for him.
