The story progress was fine even though it was slow but it was fine until the introduction of gates that completely ruined the plot. The entire plot of upper heaven and heavens threat becomes negligible as the gates turn out to be even bigger, this revelation drives from the main plot .

Has started to deviate from an original plot and has basically started copying another novel past the chapter 450

It involves a lot of killing just for a small increase in cultivation. I am honestly surprised how this guy holds onto his sanity! And another disappointment is that I thought villians don’t encounter face slapping situations but what I saw was needless face slapping just like the protagonist which I personally hate because it is idiotic.

Well after 300 chapters i must say that this story is slow asf, i mean those 300 chapters could be reduced to 50 it would be the same, the story as not advanced the slightest and worst of all the MC playing hiding his identity, i mean you can't have a good sotry where the MC is hiding is identity since day 1 in some garbage lower realms arc that should be done in 100~300 chapters

I really like this novel, only issue that I find with this novel is the pacing, the story development and or plot just seems to be moving at a snail's pace in my opinion which can make me frustrated sometimes.

Pretty good story got to say mc is not a Idiot like other mcs and Actually thinks and he plans his moves out.

I love this novel. One of my favorite novels in years. The overall development of the book Is superb. I am looking forward for more of the story. The protagonist really tries to be straight forward in his goal and has no moral restraints. The antagonists and other characters seems to have some brain. The story sometimes feels little slow, and some events can be stretched in many chapters. But otherwise it has some unique charm. But the most interesting thing is it's plot which is fascinating. The protagonist isn't all knowing. The system doesn't shower him with unique items every chapter the world is alive. Its tries to hide subtle clue for plot in its chapter and majority times it successfully does that. The only thing that worries me is the promise of romance. Which doesn't seems to quite fit the character. I hope the author stays away from writing romance. Overhaul worth checking.

I was instantly hooked as I read this. The synopsis is intriguing in that the "real" MC kills the actual MC. The writing is fantastic, the characters great and I can tell you spent a lot of time developing the world already. Great novel. Highly recommended.
