looking at the complicated expression on the little girl's face both the old man and the lady holding her hand chuckled, they talked happily for a while and parted their ways.

The old man was carrying a stack of thin woods on his shoulder wearing old and dirty clothes he looked like a farmer smiling happily walking in the fields. Along the road many people greeted him warmly and offered help for which he politely refused and made jokes off, he looked kind and looking at the interaction he seemed to be quite respected and popular by the folks of the village.

It was getting late, the sun was setting and sky was getting darker and two moons, one red and one blue shone brightly.

He reached his shack and just as he grabbed the hold of old gate his had froze a red line appeared on his neck made up of blood which slowly dripped down and blood sprinkled from his neck like a fountain. He fell to the ground while his head rolled down to legs of a man clad in black wearing a black mask covering his face and beautiful pink eyes flashing with a cold light.

It was none other than Alan.

Soon a group of guards appeared at the scene and saw headless corpse of the old man and Alan holding daggers pointed their weapons at him.

"Calm down first check the secret room under his bed"

I dropped the daggers in my hand raising my hands above my head while none of guard relaxing their vigilance, the head guard walked to the shack and opening the gate he was greeted by sight of normal old room he just as Alan said moved to the the side of the bed and began to move it and another guard entered the shack behind him, looking at the cellar door made up of metal they opened it and were greeted by a rotten smell, going down the sight they saw made them vomit.

Both of them ran up to the the gate and vomited.

"He is the former head of an evil cult responsible for death of Duke Nuremberg 10 years ago, for 10 years he was living in the village and all the cases of kidnapping of kids in the village he is responsible for them, he raped them, killed them and practiced cannibalism on their body for his cult activities."

The guard who listened to me were shocked to core as they all have been living with this old man for almost a decade and he was such a nice and kind man, a few brave ones entered the underground room and same as the head were puking at the sight of bodies of children lying down there.

The old man is the former head of an evil cult who commited a lot of crimes in the kingdom and is responsible for the death of Duke Nuremberg a well known Duke 10 years ago, in my previous life a few people took this quest in the capital and after working on it for a whole week they found the culprit hiding here in this village and lived as an honest and kind old man while kidnapping and raping kids which he later use for performing dark rituals and practicing cannibalism.

His level is very high for players but due to my high attributes it was easy to kill him and called the the guards to inform them about him. After the guards belived me they took me to the station and the news of old man's deed spread throughout the village and a very big commotion occured, the guard head contacted the people in capital and told them about the case, i gave him the proof of my credibility from the old man's storage ring and they finally let me go after saying thank you.

Since I am not in the capital I can't take the quest on officially but then also I will get my rewards as written in the quest description.

I went to a nearby inn to sleep after leaving the station and slept till noon.

After coming back to police station i was greeted by head guard and a thin old man wearing a black suit, he is the butler of Nuremberg household and came here to give their thanks to solving the case and giving me my reward.

The reward consists of a million gold coins and few equipments which are all useless to me and finally got my hands on the reward I wanted the most.

A unique skill books are a rare type of skill books which contains a hidden skill unique only to one person.

The skill may be overpowered or useless as no one knows what skill is in it, but being from the future how can I not know about this.

I quickly grabbed it and started to learn it and a dialogue box appeared in front of me

Without hesitation i pressed yes button and the thick book turned into light particles and entered my body

It may seemed to be useless at first but as your skill level began to get closer to 100 it will take years to level up a skill by 1 level but with this skill it is possible within a day saving a lot of time, in my previous life the owner of this skill became known as strongest and most skilled swordman of human race because of help of this skill and after the merger, this skill was no longer effective but then also because of his swordsmanship he rose to become one of the strongest humans.
