The Dukes resolve part 2

The ants aura grew fiercer. It's only front leg turned into a long scythe made out of a sharp stone.

It swung it wildly at the Duke. But he dodged all the attacks easily, he also counter attacked when the ant missed its attacks.

Inflicting normal wounds on the ants armor. The longer the fight went on the more frustrated the ant got. Luckily for her an opportunity presented itself.

"Dad!" rudeus screamed out.

The Duke hearing his son call out instinctively turned around. "no! go back right now! ."

And that was all the ant queen needed. Her stone scythe coming down on the Duke.

The Duke felt his instincts scream at him so he quickly rolled to the side escaping the attack.

The Duke immediately stood back up and he tried to cut off another leg, which worked the ant lost her balance and it almost fell on the Duke. But the ant quickly shifted it's weight towards the other side.

"'Attack this damned human"' she transmitted to her children in the vicinity.

Hundreds of ants immediately rushed towards their queens side. Some of the ants even ran towards the child of the Duke, who was still standing there.

The Dukes friend Marquess Daimon saw that the sons Duke was getting targeted. So he quickly rushed towards his side.

He called out his salamander, which quickly transformed in to the 6 legged horse. He picked up Rudeus.

"Duke I'll bring your son back to your mansion."

The Duke didn't say anything but Daimon knew that he was grateful.

The Duke was fighting off the ants, he was ready to use a mana blast attack, but the big ant joined back in the fight, now having 2 new legs made out of stone.

The Duke was too destracted by everything that was happening at the moment that he didn't feel a spike heading straight for his left arm.

Their was no danger towards his life so his instincts didn't yell at him, but he still felt that something was wrong. But it was already to late.

His whole shoulder disappeared. The Duke felt his arm falling on the ground. Visible rage traveled throughout his whole body.

"FUCKING ANTS!!" he fully released his mana and blasted all the ants away except for the big one.

"'Shut it human, you were preparing to invade my territory so you reap what you sow"'

The Duke was bewildered by the sudden voice in his head. But he quickly recomposed himself.

" I didn't prepare to invade your territory ant"

"'what?, then what about all the other troops than were stationed here?"

The Duke looked suspiciously at the ant. "because it's my birthday, I invited them to come."

"'?"'.

The Duke felt confusion radiating from the ant.

' but the reincarnated one said that they would attack.'

Smith who was watching the queen and the human saw that they didn't intent to fight anymore.

His eyes narrowed. He climbed down the wall and then walked towards them.

The Duke and the ant queen both felt something threatening coming towards them.

They both turned their heads towards the threatening presence , and saw a lizard slowly stepping towards them.

"' You bastard you tricked me!"' the ant queen transmitted.

"' so what?"'

The ant queen looked shocked "'w-what so what, almost all my babies died because of this."'

"' okay, I'll find a way to reunite you with them."'

The queen got even more confused "'how can you do that, it's impossible too bring them back to life. "'

"' it's simple really, I'll just kill you "'

'" w-what-"'

At that moment the lizard disappeared from both the Dukes and the ants queen's eyesight.

The ant queen felt something on her back at that moment."' Get off me! "'

Smith had just jumped on the ants queen back. He put his claws in her but it did only minimal damage.

'how can I kill her?' she's fully armored. '

Smiths eyes flashed. He but his back claws deep inside her armor, and then tried to pull off one of the front parts with his 2 front legs.

He felt it becoming looser, he wanted to pull harder but in the corner of his eyes he saw spikes getting formed out of stone.

He immediately let loose and jumped of her back. Just before the spikes got launched.

'my claws aren't long enough to deeply hurt her.'

'Fuck, I want that damned ant to fucking burn.'

'huh, oh is it from that blood that I drank?'

'do I have think more about fire or something like that?'

' it's doesn't hurt to try does it.'

So Smith started running around dodging stone spikes and thought of everything that he could come up with about fire.

The percente only went up when he said specific things, like about burning living flesh or anything else that had to do with burning something living.

'I want burn every living thing here.'

Smith started to smile.

The Duke who was looking at Smith felt like he had just saw a demon.

Smith dashed forward, and jumped on the queens back again.

She was ready this time, but before she could even launch of her spikes, a crackeling sound could be heard.

Fire started to ignite in Smith's mouth. 'BURN!' he spewed out red and black flames right on the ant queens back.

Smith jumped of the queens back and watched the spectacle for a second. The whole ant queen shot up in flames.

Her last cries were transmitted to everyone in the vicinity. "' Aaarghhhh damned lizard, I'll kill you, I'll kill yo-"'

The whole ant was now turned into ash.

Smith smiled 'what a beautiful skill'.

The Duke looked in horror at the flames that now died down. His gaze then slowly traveled back towards the lizard.

" Duke!, I've brought your son to safety."

Smith heard the new human approaching on a six legged horse.

Once he looked at the horse he felt his instincts going off again.
