Chapter 17: The ArRIVAL

Dee was currently asleep at Kovu's lap when the others arrived.

"Who the hell did that to us!" Zach's face is already filled with angry veins.

"Keep quite she's asleep." Kovu shushed them.

"You two, I need your explanation right now." Zach said while facing luna and lyre.

"Hey its not just us how about you guys and your watch?" Lyre said to Zach and rolled her eyes.

Dee rub her eyes to see everyone around.

"What's going on?" She said.

"Nothing babe you can go upstairs and sleep." Kovu said.

"No, I'll stay here." Dee replied.

"Dr. Lyre? What are you doing here? I thought you're sick." Dee said with a meaningful look.

"Its a long story." She said.

"Where's jeux?" Renj suddenly asked.

Everyone look at luna.

"Why me? Maybe he's busy with other woman." Luna shrugs her shoulders.

"Guys listen up why would those guys follow you? And which one of you are they following?" Renj said an looking at the three victims.

" I don't think its me because the room targeted was Lyre. Tell me Dr. Lyre who are you and why are they following us?" Zach said looking at lyre.

"Hey,I'm a doctor for pete's sake. I would believe if it is an ordinary killing but that one I think its not meant for me." Lyre said.

"I was about to visit lyre. I don't think its following me nobody knows my information." Luna replied.

"She actually got a point." Dee replied.

"What do you mean?"Zach look at dee.

"Wait a minute I'm actually driving with one of Airen's car." Luna said.

"Hey why are you looking at me like that!" Airen exclaimed.

"In my calculations, Airen was their target." Dee replied calmly.

"How can you say that?" Zach reacted.

"I saw her using my employees computer the one that I suspended Xia. Would you mind explaining them Airen?" Dee look at Airen blankly.

"Now it makes sense I bet its that Ego guy." Airen said seriously.

"Who are you?" Renj looked at the four woman.

"We are both trained in my father's camp when we are young. As a Heiress of the Clans we must learn not to find in minds but also physically. We used to work together in every missions we handled. The heads of the clan kept this as confidential I guess we are all the same. Does my explanation make sense?" Luna said directly.

Kovu just listened calmly he didn't expect the woman beside her has been trained badly like them.

He looked at his phone and received a message.

(All clear, information gathered Sir was about the Mu's. They are starting to move piece by piece and Mr.Ego was killed brutally before we reached him. We also found out that he is connected with the Mu's.)

"Got it" he said.

"What are we gonna do now?" Zach inserted.

"I have some informations about the Mu's I'll send the documents through your email and conduct the investigation by ourselves." Kovu answered.

"What the Mu's are also part of it? Thats impossible Raven's family are not like that." Airen exclaimed.

"How sure are you Airen? We never know if he is our side or a two faced guy. I guessed that we are not the target at all it must be Airen because the car that I've been using was her car." Luna said.

"I-i-impossible." Airen almost lost her posture.

Raven was her Childhood bestfriend slash boyfriend and Airen treasured him the most. That guy saved her life from falling into the sinkhole luckily Raven found her and helped her out.

"I understand what you feel right now Airen but we are risking our lives here. We need to move fast before them. Can I have Ice cream zach? Please." Dee said while yawning.

Zach frowned and looked for Ice cream Carrot flavored which makes him do it personally in the end because there is no such thing is Carrot flavored with bananas.

A message was received in Airen's phone.

"I just got back today I have presents for you darling. I love you wait for me in our spot." - Raven

"Raven is back." Airen was trembling while looking at the message.

"Is it coincidence right?" Lyre inserted.

On the other part.

"Dear Raven good thing you are back Mom misses you so much." Madam Victoria said and give him a peck on the cheeks.

"Hello mother, Where is Airen?" Raven asked.

The woman's faced suddenly change with disgust.

"Looking for that woman again, Why are you so attached to her at all." Lord Oven replied in a dark tone.

"I just arrived and we are discussing this stuff again. How many times do I have to tell you all I love her and no one can stop me with that." Raven said in a dangerous voice.

Victoria signed to zip off.

"Dear we do understand that but it is your responsibility to do your job as the crowned prince, you need to get married to Chandria she is the only person suited for you." Madam Victoria said.

"I know what I'm doing mom but I told you many times already I don't want to be your Puppets. I'm not like them I will never follow dad's footsteps and this freaking rules you have. So will you excuse me I need to find my girlfriend she is the only reason why I'm here." Raven ignored them and walked away.

"Leave him be, We can still use another card to change his mind." Lord Matrix spoke out.

Jeux is currently at the club right now making out with a woman.

"Oh jeux." The woman said in pleasure.

The door suddenly open and showed Luna holding a gun.

"Baby you're back." Jeux said.

She looked at jeux and the woman who's face was turning pale while looking at her.

Luna ignores them and continue to walk on her way to their room.

She grabbed her bag and put all her clothes inside. She accidentally drops the picture frame in the table.

Luna sighed and pick up the frame it was a memorable pic where jeux was actually proposing to her.

"Baby where are you going?" Jeux said looking at her bags.

Luna didn't reply and pick up her baggage she start walking away from jeux.

"Baby are you leaving?" Jeux continued to follow her walking downstairs.

Every step was like a knife for Luna but she needs to have some space to think.

"Baby please talk to me." Jeux said looking at her painfully.

She look at him and spoke.

"I think I need to find myself Jeux. I realize this wasn't normal at all." Luna replied.

"What do you mean?" Jeux said.

"Did you love me Jeux? Or I'm just one of your toys to be played." Luna said.

Jeux was speechless.

Luna caress his face and look at him in the eye lovingly and smiled uttering the words from her mouth the word "Goodbye".

Jeux wanted to stop her but he will be so selfish if he does. This woman stayed in his side for a long time and now she got fed up on him.

"It hurts right?" Zach spoke while leaning in his car.

Jeux faced him and smiled sadly.

Zach and him are always not in good terms but in tough times both of them raises their white flag.

Dee was checking her company and now it was finally back at the top. Her plans are now working but she is still not sure what is Kovu's mind. Is he a trusted one or he is just using her as one of his piece.

"Babe can we talk?" Kovu said.

"Hmm." Dee faced him.

Kovu wrapped his arms around her waist and spoke.

"I just want you to trust me no matter what. I am maybe selfish with that but I want to keep you with me and our baby."

"Okay." Dee replied.

She knows a lot will be coming in her way and this man was not part of her plan. But fate really changes fast now she's with him.

Kovu was satisfied with her answer.

"Can you also do me a favor Kovu. Don't change your mind when you got to know me more."

The man laughed thinking she was joking around.

"Silly woman." He said.

His phone suddenly rang receiving a message from Renj.

"She's here."
