Alright, this is a tough one. I really, really like this novel. In fact I like it so much that I'm frustrated. The Chinese version is finished with over 2000 chapters, yet the translation is only at 360. That's why I'm frustrated. Because there's just too many schemes/plots/things that are bound to happen sooner or later and at the rate the translation is going, it's gonna take years for the novel to be completed. So I'm frustrated. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not mad at the translator, I'm just mad that I can't get more updates more quickly because this, ladies and gentlemen, is such a goddamn fine read. **: Ye Xiao is awesome. Quite different from the usual perverted Xianxia/Xuanhuan MC. This one is ruthless, wise and strong, but he's also quite dense and inexperienced in the ways of love... which makes him goddamn cute.

Overall good book but I am a little dissatisfied with how slow the cultivation for the MC is. 220 chapters in and he's only at the mid stage of the second lowest realm

Well I can finally say that this novel is just like the other 100 or so Chinese novels out there on this site right now, I started reading this because a review said that the characters had purpose, that the antagonists had character and that the MC solved problems through intellect and didn't needlessly kill, but as of this chapter I can safely say that none of these things are true. The main character has received a grand total of 5 deus ex machinas and 7 random coincidences already in the FIRST 21 Chapters. He retardedly killed 3 people related to the CROWN PRINCE, and he is the exact opposite of intelligent by not realizing how rare things from a higher dimension are to mortal people. Not only that he has coincidenced upon 4 "insanely powerful relics" that can boost cultivation in the first 21 chapters. A story is that has no ******* because the author will just drop free stuff in the MC's lap is not a good story.

I quit this novel after few hundreds of chapters...in the beginning it was quite nice but more into the story the author for sure think that description of boobs is more important than description of fight...not sure if others wuxia novels are horny like this one but i move on to other novel now and quite satisfied with God of Slaughter. It was bit echi but not much distract story revolution like this one. Anyway, thanks for all these while.

I have been following this story before it got into the official site,and there is a reason why this has me so hooked up. First off,the author. Feng Lian Tian Xia is someone whose works I really enjoy. They are often times very witty,and the comedic undertone really gets me. Regarding this series,this review is valid till chapter 290. The MC is someone who got reborn in the body of someone with a common name. Pretty generic.But it is the relations that he maintains with this sudden family that he gets,which keeps you interested.We get some really good humor in the early parts of the story as well. And then of course come the antagonists,who are..kinda weak.No,they are not your generic antagonists.It is just that the way in which the MC beats them makes you feel that they are weak,when in reality we actually learn quite a bit about them.And they are not really weak. This is a harem,no doubt.But,we have a female lead who was part of his past life.We get many characters from his past life appearing in this life of his.And this makes it very interesting,as he was a Monarch like character back then..and now he is just a weak guy from a lower realm. Till chapter 290,the world building is pretty much standard.There is a long way to go. I would say,read it for the elements that manage to keep this afloat despite the fact that this series is on a similar chassis when compared to the other works of the author. This series is Mango approved!!

I am an avid reader I mean staying up till 4 am falling into the story plots and characters. Yet again this site screws us over by stopping another good book!! I’m tired of spending good money just to get screwed again and again if this happens again I’m dropping this app and filing complaints!! You want out money but take away our books!! Kiss my bum and everyone else’s!!

Its like a good cupcake inside a very cumbersome packaging that takes alot of time to open/remove. The novel has a very interesting premise of rising up again to the top after the mc got killed BUT all of it is behind ALOT OF TALKING, FILLER CHAPTERS and 10+ CHAPTERS for just resolving a single event(a ****** negotiation? Yeah thats gonna take a dozen chapters to resolve). You'll find yourself skipping paragraphs or even chapters since most of the time it moves even slower than Dragon Ball Z. Cultivation chapters get like a couple after dozens of conflict/talking chapters which is just plain bs. Its like the author cant decide whether this is a political or a cultivation novel. There are people who like this VERY VERY SLOW novel but sadly this is not for me.

The story is a pretty good reincarnation Xianxia. The MC wasn't too OP in his past life and doesn't have all the answers straight from the get go, but it's still pretty fast cultivation wise, strinking a good balance in my opinion. Sadly this novel is plagued by sub-par translation Quality, probably machine translated and edited afterwards. Updating stability is OK, but this still drags it from a 4 to a 3.4.

Novel is terrible all of sudden 26 chapters of same **** over and over wow I skipped atleast 20 chaptersstoryisstill in same place . So I officially have dropped this garbage

This novel was good until about 900 chapters went behind a paywall. It originally was free until chapter 900 something, but all of a sudden, almost all of those chapters required spirit stones to unlock. Very disappointed.

The transition quality is comically bad. It's just absolutely terrible. Half the time there are 5 extra the's in a sentence, the other half is missing word. The engrish here ruins this novel.

This book is actually good, but a translation team that has more than 1 person proves idiocy. Bad QC, slow translation, updates on frequent delays. If it's free, I wouldn't be complaining. But I've been paying soulstones, and now an Elite, the translators isn't putting the effort with plenty of empty promises. Where is that report button or the vote for a new team to takeover the project?
