Fighting Nether king again

The ship was so incredibly fast that within mere moments, the Myriad storm mountain range was already far behind them. It probably won't take long before they got out of the city.

"Where you plan to go once you've completed your promotion?" Silver king asked as they traveled in the air.

"I'll just explore the world" Xuanyuan said lightly. He knew very well that he won't stay for long in this realm and will find his way back to his own time. Although the Ancient realm is excellent, he cannot stay as there are things he's to attend to, and there are still the Celestial overlords.

"Why don't you come down to Sky cloud city?" Silver king asked.

"Alright. I'll visit the city if I have the chance to" Xuanyuan replied.

"Good" Silver king said nothing more till they left the borders of Sky cloud city.

"I think you should return to the sect now. We've already covered a big distance from the city" Xuanyuan said after they left the city.

"I'm just making sure, Nether king won't set up an ambush due to how you offended him back then" Silver king said.

"You don't need to worry much about me I can take care of myself. Please return to the sect now." Xuanyuan said.

"Alright. I'll leave this flying ship for you then" the Elder chipped in. "It will be helpful in your journey" he added as he threw the bottle to him

"Many thanks to Elder" Xuanyuan bowed.

"In that case, we'll leave now" Silver king said as they hopped off the flying ship. "Till we meet again" He bowed.

"If there's a chance" Xuanyuan muttered to himself as he bowed back. He watched as the Elder drove another flying ship back to the city before continuing his own journey. But soon a familiar enemy appeared before him on the way.

"Oh! I didn't think I'll meet you here friend" Nether king chuckled as he coldly eyed Xuanyuan.

"Nether king" Xuanyuan muttered. "I didn't think I'll be honored to meet you here"

"Indeed you're honored to have made me wait for you here in advance" Nether king said icily.

"Well what business do you have with me?" Xuanyuan asked.

"I'm afraid you have to come with me" Nether king said.

"I have a long journey ahead. I don't have time to spare" said Xuanyuan.

"Well you don't have a choice. I have to force you if necessary" Silver king said.

"I don't mind. If you will resort to force, try it" said Xuanyuan.

"What makes you so confident? Perhaps you don't know that the elder beside me is an Emperor" Nether king said smiling as he gestured towards the elder beside him who radiated the aura of a tier 4 Emperor.

"So what if you have a tier 4 Emperor? That doesn't guarantee that you can catch me" said Xuanyuan.

"Oh! I wonder how a tier 2 Master like you plan to escape the clutches of an Emperor" said Nether king.

"Actually I don't plan to escape. It's only an Emperor isn't it? I also have an Emperor level combatant at my disposal" said Xuanyuan as a spear wielding tier 3 Valkyrie appeared behind him.

"Should be enough to pin down your Emperor. It's up to you guys if you can catch me now" said Xuanyuan.

"Enough talking" the Emperor suddenly said and stepped out sending bunch of daggers at Xuanyuan who calmly stepped back and allowed the Valkyrie to fight for him.

In an instant, a big battle erupted between the Elder Emperor and Valkyrie. The battle was so great that it caused the ground to shake and crack as they clashed in the air. Neither Xuanyuan nor Nether king and his helpers made a move as the battle above them will determine what will happen next.

But the Valkyrie who kept launching attacks with its spear surprisingly wasn't any inferior to the tier 4 Emperor. The Elder was actually shocked within because while tier 3 Valkyries could still contend against Emperors, they will be at a disadvantage especially in basic attributes. The difference between tier 3 and tier 4 is so great that not even the legendary Valkyries can completely overcome that gap. This is undoubtedly a new occurrence to the Elder.

But in reality, Xuanyuan was the one controlling the Valkyrie. He'd used Mental liberation to condense a fragment of his mental energy to combine with the Valkyrie. This gave him the chance to directly control the Valkyrie. And with his extraordinary combat standards and Mana control, going against the Elder was a given.

The fight dragged on and Nether king and the others were already getting impatient so they retrieved their weapons and moved towards Xuanyuan.

"Bind" Xuanyuan suddenly pointed at them before they could reach attack range and dark chains radiating thick aura of death bound them. They struggled to get rid of the chains but to their dismay, the chains didn't budge at all even after they've exerted all they could exert.

"You only have 30 seconds left" Xuanyuan said.

"Let us go!" Nether king growled. They could all feel that these chains were like demons that rapidly devoured their HP. It was just as Xuanyuan said, they only had less than 30 seconds left before they ran out of HP. They couldn't imagine that a tier 2 Master could do this much to them effortlessly.

"I didn't want to fight, but you insisted so I was forced to use a precious treasure on you" Xuanyuan said. "Maybe if you compensate me properly for the losses I've incured, I might consider releasing you" he added.

"What do you want?"

"Magic crystals, everything you have" Xuanyuan demanded.

"You!" Nether king said in exasperation.

"It's your choice. Remember you don't have much time" Xuanyuan said. There's only about ten seconds left not much time to negotiate with Xuanyuan...
