"Without Mana, the Realm of spirituality will be the same as the Earth" Xuanyuan continued. "If Mana never existed, both players, NPCs and monsters would be reduced to the same level"

"So the reason why you're stronger than everyone is because you could control Mana?" Snow Titan asked.

"Yeah" replied Xuanyuan.

"But we're all players. How are you able to control Mana while we cannot?" asked Pure Spring "Could the system be cheating?"

"No" Xuanyuan replied. "Mana control is something you'd soon learn at some point. Gaining access to Mana at this point is because I'm not subjected to the God system's limitations" He continued.

"But what's more important is that you guys are also going to liberate yourself from the system's sovereignty" He said.

"What happens after that?" asked Shadow Empress.

"That's when your adventures begin. At some point, your combat standards will improve drastically and reaching the Domain realm won't be a problem"

"Domain realm?!!" They all exclaimed.

"Yeah" Xuanyuan replied. "Will you believe me if I told you that I was just a half step Body refinement realm expert just about two months ago?"

"And now you've taken half a step into the legendary domain realm!"

"In just two Months?"

"Correct" Xuanyuan nodded. "And if you guys do as I instruct, you'll achieve the same"

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's train already!" Dark Angel said impatiently as they sat in an advanced training room in the inner chambers.

"So now how do we control Mana?" Pure Spring asked...

Two hours later:

Xuanyuan quietly left the inner chambers while gazing at his new companions who will soon become terrifying existences revered by all in the Realm of spirituality. He had taught them about Mana and how to control it and now they were silently training in the inner chambers. In that place, they could train without having to worry about expenses...

"City Lord!" A Tier 3 Official greeted just as Xuanyuan arrived at the outer regions of the City Lord's Manor. "I have important news"

"Go on" Xuanyuan said plainly.

"Our spies in Fiery moon city sent word. The Fiery moon Emperor has contacted Dark cloud Emperor. They plan to take down Jade spear city!" The Official reported.

"When will they launch their attack?" Xuanyuan asked. He wasn't really surprised. The Jade spear Emperor chose him to protect the city for a reason and now his quest has begun.

"According to the spies, they plan to attack in about a month" The Official replied.

"Then we have time to prepare in advance. Gather as much information as you can about their army" Xuanyuan ordered. "Also get me a full list of the men we have to defend the city"

"I'll do that, your Highness" The Official said. "But I think it'd be better if you ally with Bright frost city. I'm sure we'll able to defend the city with that. The combined force of Fiery moon city and Dark cloud city is too strong for us to defend alone" The Official suggested.

"That's a brilliant idea. But I'm sure we can defend the city without their help. You just need to follow my arrangements and all will be fine" Xuanyuan replied.

"Yes, your Highness"

"Meanwhile, contact the city's Forge and Alchemy association and have them make war equipments and magical potions we need. Give them all necessary resources" Xuanyuan ordered

"Yes your highness" The Official saluted and left to carry out his orders...

Xuanyuan on the other hand quietly left the Manor and flew towards the Holy Temple. This was the third day after he visited the temple previously and correspondingly the day his coronation ceremony as the Ninth Saint would take place.

After his Mama control reached Tier 5, his flying speed had underwent a qualitative transformation and the trip to the Holy Temple which would have lasted up to two hours was completed in less than 30 mins

He landed steadily in the Holy Temple and given his status, he wasn't obstructed and he was able to arrive at the Core area in no time.

Meanwhile he didn't see the rowdy atmosphere he'd expected. It didn't even appear as if the coronation of the Ninth Saint was taking place. Everyone was busy doing his own things without a care for what's happening around him.

The only change he noticed was in the Core room where the Eight Saints were. There were no grand designs or guests, the only difference was the addition of a throne among the Eight thrones hovering in the Core room.

Currently the Saints sat quietly on their thrones as they waited for Xuanyuan to appear in the Holy Temple.

"Ninth Brother" The Saints addressed him as soon as he arrived.

Xuanyuan smiled wryly when he saw that. Saints in the Realm of spirituality possessed high lifespans second only to Gods. Xuanyuan estimated that the Eight Saints were hundreds of years old yet they addressed him as their brother. If only they knew he was just 16...

"Greetings to the Saints" Xuanyuan greeted.

"No need to be so formal, Ninth Saint" They replied.

"Since the protagonist has arrived, we should begin the coronation ceremony!" said the Third Saint.

With a wave of his left hand, the Second Saint drew Xuanyuan to the centre of the room while they all hovered around him.

"Sage Yuan, the human race had been in existence since a long time and thus surrounded by friends and foes from other races whose existence threatens the freedom and the existence of Humanity" the Second Saint explained. "The Great Human Saints are the leaders of humanity and are responsible for defending the honor, freedom and existence of humans in the Realm of spirituality, do you wish to take up the role as the Ninth Saint?" the Second Saint asked solemnly

"Yes, I do" Xuanyuan replied.

"Do you promise to defend humanity with all you've got for as long as you breath?"

"Yes"
