'What could I get with this amount of cash? I need to get somewhere to actually live first before anything... Maybe I'll just rent a cheap hotel close-by' Jin said to himself. But he decided that could come last, if this universe was anything like his old world, laptops could go for around 200-250$ max, and that was the base price for coding necessities, Jin knew it sounded dumb to compare the two, but people don't realize how close certain earth's are in comparison to our reality. Still, he had to hack the system for his identifications, specifically his lack there of.

So he opted for the fastest option to find a decent store.

~ Omni Pov, Half an hour later... ~

"170! And that's it, I won't go any lower." A man said.

"𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺? Look at this thing, it's almost busted up, I know I came to get something cheaper, but you're just robbing me with the specks, and condition it's in... I say... 150. It ain't worth more than that, plus, it looks like it's been here for years." The man who responded back, was none other than Jin.

The man in question looked unhappy. But he knew his customer was right, and he hated when they were onto him. The man looked at Jin, who smirked a little. After another minute, it happened...

"URRGGG! FINE! I'LL GIVE IT TO YA! HAPPY?" The man finally broke.

"Deal!" Jin responded, placing the money on the counter, then leaving with his brand new laptop.

'Alright! My bargaining skills are really up there today.' Jin thought to himself.

[Whatever floats your boat host]

'Oh, hush Nova, you saw that. The guy thought he could pull a fast one on me, too bad. I'm 'him'. ' Jin responded, chuckling mentally.

Earlier the man had tried selling the laptop he had for 260 bucks, but with a couple of bullshitery and actual facts and a bit of looks. He got by... Walking out of the store, Jin had a smile on his face...

'Still, that guy was a real crook. I should have bargained for a 100 bucks instead, since the screen is in bare bone condition... But it's for the best, I'll level up soon enough.' Jin promised himself.

Now he had a decent chunk of his cash left, more than enough to rent a cheap hotel. The problem was to find one, but that shouldn't be too bad... All he had to do was look for the worst neighborhood possible and rent one there...

'I don't think it gets any worse than this Nova. It's almost as bad as Gotham...' Jin thought.

The place had its possys, hookers and such. The everyday shi you would see in the worst of the worst communities...

[Let's be honest Jin, the women here are far, far more... 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦...] Hearing his companion's response, he chuckled.

'It looks like you've gone soft Nov-' Jin retorded, but was interupted...

Both he and Nova were alerted... "Not again, It hasn't even been a day since I've been here and an attack close by happens," Jin said annoyed.

[I'm sorry host...] Nova said, trying to cheer him up.

'It's fine Nova, it's just a bit annoying that shit like this happens so much and seemingly at the worst times possible, first the guy earlier and now this... I can never catch a break... or... should I...?' Jin thought. Insinuating the obvious...

Catching on, Nova was quick to respond.

[Don't bother host, if you have the ability to help, do so. I know you aren't completely yourself, however, you have enough rationality to know that this should be done... the greater your power-]

'The greater my responsibilities... I know... Still, can I atleast get a place rented before I go, it's literally just ahead.' Jin finished.

[... You can... It isn't like I can stop you either....]

Nova saying this was actually worried... her master before would have dropped what he was doing to help others without thought, but since his soul was in literal knots. It wasn't her 'real' master... or in better terms, it was a shadow of what he used to be...

First, it was his/Jin's reaction concerning his assault and now, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴... it was getting troublesome...

'Thanks, Nova, I'll get this done quickly.' Jin said curtly.

He went on with his business...

*BOOM!*

*BOOM!*

Buildings were falling like dominos... And the cause of it all was one being...

"TO THINK THIS WORLD HAS BEEN LEFT FOR SO LONG! JUST WAITING TO BE CLAIMED, AND A PITY THAT THERE'S NO ONE TO DO SO... EXCEPT ME!!!" A large male-like creature said, its voice commanding as it was equally terrifying.

Its hulking frame is well over 4 meters, bordering 5. As well as its worm-like mouth didn't make it too pleasing to the eyes or the imagination given its slime-like skin...

It shot out more of its energy, leveling more buildings. Having fun tormenting the people on the ground... As the buildings fell, countless bodies followed, some smashed in the debre with their blood and innards evident, while others fell as he did his destroying...

However, not all hope was lost...

The heroes had arrived.

And seeing the destruction... they weren't pleased.

"He arrived not even an hour ago... and he's caused this much destruction..." The immortal said, his eyes twitching at the sight of human remains...

Or what was left of it...

'It seems he's powerful, and we have no real readings on his capabilities either... SHIT!' The immortal thought.

"I'm going in! we can't let him continue his onslaught, he'll destroy the city at this rate if he isn't stopped! The red rush interrupted. Dashing into the battlefield.

"NO! Wait, we don't know how powerful it/he is, proceed with caution, distract him until we get there. Ghost, Martian, and Aquarius. I need you all to distract him as much as you can. I and War-woman will join you. GO!" The immortal commanded.

As so said, so done, they all did their best to deal with their foe...

"Darkwing... You know what to do." The immortal issued his last command.

Not long after, Red-Rush ran circles around his opponent, he was testing the limit and reaction speed of the foe, then using the debre to try and anger the creature...

Aquarius did his fair share of distracting, blasting the creature with water he was available with.

"YOU VILE CREATURES!!! WHEN I GET MY HAND ON Y-YO- *MMMPHHH*" The invader was interrupted while the Martian hand snuck behind him with his abilities, now he rapped around the invader's body, incapacitating him.

Ghost made her move to get the rest of the civilians away from the area.

And now both The immortal and War-woman were closing in to finish the job...

"Just hold him a bit longer!" The Immortal said, jumping in the air to get as much kinetic potential as he can to strike the creature in the face.

However, it wasn't all that easy...

Soon after the creature's eye glowed red with power. The Martian man who was incapacitating him was now dragged off in need of recuperation.

Seeing this, the Immortal man, who was still in the air, was vulnerable.

With his new and improved speed, which had surpassed even Red Rush's own, The immortal might well as well be a victim...

"𝘋𝘐𝘌!!!" The creature shouted.

A figure from nowhere appeared in the creature's vision...

*BOOM!*

The strike reverberated in the area, causing mini ripples while creating a screen of smoke between the creature and the immortal...

When the rest of the heroes' perceptions finally caught up. All they saw was a cloud of smoke followed by a powerful shockwave...

They all stopped. Wondering what had happened.

However... In the next second, they could see the immortal flying towards a war woman, landing on his back...

Even he looked confused... however,

All were questioning what had just happened, and soon they would get their answers...

As the smoke cleared. They saw something unbelievable... it was the new recruit, Jin. Holding the creature's arm with a vice-like grip, showing no hint of struggle...

Jin on the other hand was not happy.

Seeing the remains of humans around the area, his face was of clearly of a chaotic neutral...

"So you did all of... 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴..." Jin sounded as if he had asked, but it was clear it was a statement, his voice cold and emotionless... even the heroes were taken aback by how indifferent his tone was. Heavy with utter nothingness, yet coated with equally heavy malice...

'W-WHAT!!? HOW IS THIS MAGGOT SUPPRESSING ME? COULD HE BE ONE OF THEM? NO, I SENSE NO SMART ATOMS WITHIN HIS BODY TOO. WHAT IS HE!?' The hulking creature thought, unable to move from where he stood.

"SO WHAT IF I AM? 𝘞𝘏𝘈𝘛 𝘈𝘙𝘌 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝘎𝘖𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘛𝘖 𝘋𝘖 𝘈𝘉𝘖𝘜𝘛 𝘐𝘛?" The creature said, with his voice coated with pride, even in the predicament he was in, he could sense that the being that held him didn't like it. And that's what he relished...

Jin looked around, seeing the lives this creature had taken.

Jin's eyes twitched with instability...

He then turned to the creature, his eyes were deep sapphire blue with a tint of green, now shifted and glowed, turning into a predatorial amber...

And for the first time in the creature's long life...

It felt an emotion that was foreign to it, even in the face of death it hadn't discerned it, but now it had resurfaced...

and that was emotion, was unadulterated unfiltered 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓...

In the next instant, Jin raised his hand, slowly clenching it...

however, the creature could tell, that if whatever was coming hit him, he might as well be space dust.

He tried with every fiber of his being to escape his captures clutches but to no avail... The punching did nothing to the creatures, it was as if it was hitting the hardest metal in the universe. After seconds of constant hitting, its firsts started to bleed.

While Jin was unfazed, his clothes were getting torn because of the damage it was receiving... But now, he was tired of this charade. So he asked.

"What's wrong? 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥?" Jin stated, his voice eerily calm. His gaze penetrating through the shadows of the creature's hulking frame...

"NO! NO!! NOOO-"

*SWISH-*

*BOOOOOM!!!!*

A shockwave so powerful that blew the heroes away, so powerful that it affected the planet itself was created... The sheer shockwaves reverberating across the globe...

The earth trembled from the punch, if one could call it that...

The creature? Only its legs remained, with heat emanating from its flesh...

The heroes that day saw something that changed the course of their history... A young man that was powerful to cause detrimental tremors that could be felt across the very planet...

And because of this feat, Jin would be known in history as the '𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳'
