I've been holding this thing up for a while, ten minutes to be exact... Nova had told me that this machine weighed a little over 24 planets now, and rising. It truly was a good call to synthesize Broly's DNA. None of this would be possible without his blood.

Even though it was a rip-off of what he had, it served its purpose. Still, I can't even imagine what it would be like if I made myself an actual saiyan with his blood, especially a hybrid too...

'Maybe I'll save that terrifying thought for another day...' I thought to myself, with a slight chill running down my spine.

But, I'm growing tired of this. I had a mission here, and wasting time is foolish. Raven and Barbara have got to be wondering where I am right now...

I need to get this test over with.

'Nova, start project 'travel', and put it at top priority in your database. If I'm correct, this reality has technology sufficient for reality hopping.'

[... Calibrating order... Order complete... Project 'travel' is in operation...]

Good. Now... to deal with our guests. By my estimation, omni-man should be here. He has the strongest aura of all on the planet...

~ Omni Pov ~

"Alright! I'm done. You can turn it off, Mr. Cecil." Jin shouted.

Cecil wasted no time to do so. He didn't want to make anything bad happen to his new 'arrival'...

The others got a look at Jin now since he had turned around...

'So that's what he looks like. He's quite pleasing to the eyes, and robust...' Thought war woman.

Cecile made his way out of the control, while the others followed and inspected Jin.

'Incredible. How much has he trained to achieve a body like that? It's as I'm looking at a god walking amongst us...' Pondered immortal man. He was the most intrigued by this new person. He had seen many throughout his life, but none like this.

"Well, that was the experience, was it? Well, enough of that. This is the guardians of the globe, a special superhero team made to help defend earth from threats in and out. And the team you will be assigned to soon. You can introduce yourself." Cecil added.

Jin nodded and smiled.

"Hello everyone, my name is Jin Strife... A pleasure to meet you all in person." Jin stated.

"Hello there Jin. My name is immortal. The pleasure is mine." He said, shaking Jin's hand.

"Y-Yes... it's... nice to meet you as well. You may call me war-woman, mister Strife." She said stuttering in the beginning then averting her gaze.

'Did she just... stutter!?' All the other heroes thought collectively...

'Gosh!!! Why did I have to blunder now? But seriously, how can a man be this handsome and this built!? I can't even look him in the eyes...' She thought. Embarrassed at her performance, she usually kept a level head at all times.

Jin chuckled a little.

"Ah ah yeah! Hello Jin, my name is green ghost, but you can call me ghost for short." She held out her hand.

'He's absolutely massive...' She pondered, quickly redirecting her thoughts...

Jin quickly shook her hand as well.

[You know Jin... I wonder at times if you have a charm passive, because it's obvious that they both developed a small crush on you... truly a smooth criminal in the making]

'Oh hush it, Nova. Still, you do have a solid point, though. I may have made myself a bit too attractive. It's both a blessing and a curse... moving on,' Jin thought.

The rest of the heroes introduced themselves, but now it was Omni-man's turn.

"Hello there, Jin. My name is Omni-man, a pleasure to meet the recruit." He held out his hand to shake Jin's own.

Jin did so as well. However, as soon as they held hands, Jin realized omni-man's grip was getting tighter.

He realized the ever so increasing shift in sheer power being used.

'... Testing me, huh?' Jin thought.

Jin gripped back ever so lightly, just enough to get the message across...

"Likewise. It's good that I'll be working with you, friend." Jin said, smiling obliviously.

Omni-man caught on, and did the same...

They both unhanded each other at the same time, without making a fuss.

"Now, with that over with, we can get into your training. I'll send someone over to help you in that regar-"

"May I do the teaching instead? I am aware of all the protocols. It should be fine by a veteran, right?" War woman offered. Surprising Cecil...

Cecil, hearing this sudden request, was a bit off-put... wondering what was happening. Figuring that there has to be a deeper meaning behind it.

'... I know she isn't the type to do training like this... She would be fine on any day to let me handle it... so why now?' Cecil thought.

He then remembered what happened just minutes ago, then what happened in their brief interaction, and then he chuckled.

'Ahhh... I see, this should be wonderful development.' Cecil smiled and concluded.

The green ghost, with nobody being able to see, felt a little uncomfortable with what was going on, but she kept her mouth shut... for now.

"Well... I'll leave him in your care war-woman. I'll be with you in a month Jin, after that, we can get you a suit." Cecil said, leaving.

The other heroes left shortly after, while war-woman and Jin remained behind...

"So... you said you will be showing me the ropes, right? When do we start?" Jin asked.

She thought for a bit.

"We can start tomorrow. Also, I think it's best that you stay with me too, its easier to teach you while you're close by... of course, if it isn't any trouble...?" she stated and asked at the same time.

Jin was a bit apprehensive... He knew he would have to shut this one down fast. He doesn't want to be a heartbreaker. He could tell she was developing a crush on him, and that would be bad...

"Sheesh... I don't know... my girlfriend would be pretty upset if she knew I would say with a hero for a month, especially a female too." Jin said with a melancholic tone.

Hearing all of this, her mood fell.

"Of course he would have one..." War-woman stated under her breath.

"What was that?" Jin asked, knowing full well what she said.

"I-It's nothing. I'll... see you tomorrow. I live at xxx avenue, you can't miss it, come tomorrow at 6 sharp." She instructed.

"Sure, I'll be there by 6. Well, I'll see you again." Jin said, leaving...

'I'm sure you could tell, Nova... omni-man thinks of me as a threat. I just hope he doesn't do something utterly retarded in the future because of it.' I said to Nova.

[I know, host. He was exercising his authority. Maybe it is because of his viltrumite mentality kicking off, in any case. His adrenaline levels spiked when he heard about how powerful you were from Cecil]

I took what Nova analysed to heart. So far, her theory makes sense. I couldn't remember much of the comics about viltrumites, but what from what I remember, is that they are extremely ruthless beings, relentless and insanely durable. Hell, I remember that they had the capability to regenerate from having their innards gouged and heart crushed, which is ridiculously powerful.

They can probably survive decapitation if they are quick enough to keep their heads in a suitable position for long enough and recuperate... Not even I can do something like that. Superman almost killed me by piercing my chest, viltrumites on another hand can survive much worse consistently, and not only that, they come back stronger from it.

'Nova... Do you think I should take viltrumite DNA and incorporate it into my own?'

[... You are already incredibly powerful Jin... taking his blood wouldn't change much... other than enhancing your strength, endurance and stamina to already unimaginable results, and potentially other abilites even I am not aware of...]

I shrugged mentally.

'I know... it's not like I really need the extra firepower. I just thought it would be convenient to have higher endurance for safety. The rest are just boons.'

[If you say so... I won't stop you. I can help you anytime that you need me to help.]

'Thanks Nova, you really are great.'

[Host, if you continue with this kind of talk, I might even fall in love...]

Hearing this. I cringed.

'Goodbye Nova.'

Now I was alone once more. I needed to set myself up here. I had nowhere to live and was essentially a ghost in this world. So first up on my list of things to do is to set up an actual identity and then get somewhere to live. No doubt Cecil will be doing his homework on me. So I need to work fast.

'Jin... do it all for her...'
