Wishes I

"Goddess."

As soon as I mutter that shitty deity, my body suddenly felt light as if my soul was being sucked by an unknown force.

I keep myself up and tries to oppose the force, but to my surprise it barely did anything.

And so, I was sucked by this weird thing and my whole world turns black.

Until I realize that I didn't get unconscious. It's just that the room is pitch black that I thought I lose sight.

However, as soon as a hole appear in front of me. A blinding light stab my eyes and made me cover it for the sake of not getting blind.

I then realize that the shackles that keeps me from moving was removed, my free hands have marks on them specially at my wrist area where it keeps hurting whenever someone hit me.

I test the feelings of my hands before I look up to the light. My eyes immediately adjusted from the surrounding so I can certainly see the figure small childish figure descending from the light hole.

"Heh~, you look like you suffer down there?"

"And whose fault is that?"

Upon fully entering my view, I finally manage to see clearly of the figure. It's the Goddess.

I immediately complain from her sarcastic remark and attempts to continue. However, she cross her arms and glare at me which made me think twice.

The air around her suddenly turn violent as she stab me with those beautiful yet dangerous look.

"And why do you think it's because of me?"

I begin to get confuse after hearing her question.

She's asking me? Isn't she the one to blame for my misfortune?

And just like before, she seem to have read my mind and answer it with a harsh tone.

"Don't blame me for your own stupidity, human. I don't care even if you die down there, you still haven't even apologize to me after disrespecting me!"

Now she's back at it again.

The air she have is similar to that when I mock her.

But... Is it true?

If it is, then does that mean I just have a huge amount of unluckiness stuck inside me?

Now that I think about it, the former owner of this body, Verian, seems to have a high lucky points in him.

So that makes me quite the opposite, I guess.

"Where is that even coming from?"

It seems the goddess keeps reading my mind.

I can't help but feel a little bit irritated from her own attitude, but I guess its pretty normal to them?

"What do you mean?"

The goddess roll her eyes and made me think I'm dumb.

"The thing about luck, do you have some sort of thing back in your world?"

Huh? I don't think so.

But I do believe in fate being absolute.

Wait, does that mean, my fate is still bad even after I died?

"Stop your delusions, human. Why do you keep thinking something far!"

The goddess interrupted my thought as she shout to me. The shout isn't that loud, but because we are inside a large empty room. Her voice echoed.

"But you said it wasn't you? Then it just mean that-"

"It is not me. But it doesn't mean it's natural. I'm saying that someone is trying to meddle with it."

"Someone!?"

What?!

Someone's meddling with my life, but how can they do that?

"That's because you didn't receive any blessing from me. You're quite rude as I remember it correctly."

Does she perhaps have a little memory problem?

"No! Ugh. Enough of this. You called me because you are asking for help. You keep doing it since I don't know when but it just happen that this time, I got nothing to do. Be thankful!"

"Y-yeah."

"So here, I will give you a blessing. This power will help you eliminate anything that threatens your fate. I don't know who it is and I don't care, but from now on they won't be able to do anything even if they try their best."

Wait, isn't this too fast?!

Just a while ago, I'm being tortured by the person who set me up, and now I'm being given a power?!

"That's right, so be grateful, you lowly human!"

Oh right, she can read my mind.

"I will also give you two wishes for power. It should be one for the mistake I have done from your otherworld. The other is a bonus."

It's pretty fast. Despite being given a time enough for me to think. I'm feeling pressured.

Well, I mean, just a while ago, I'm in a room completely hopeless. I don't even know how can I escape from that except death.

But now, I'm currently being asked by the one who proclaimed herself as a god and gave me two wishes.

How do I use it then?

Firstly, I have enough political and magical power in my grasp. I don't particularly need it.

Money isn't a problem either, I can earn as much as I want if I use the common knowledge back in my previous world.

If I ask for wishes. I only want one thing, eternal life.

That's not really the answer I want. But seeing the sparkling eyes of the Goddess. I can't just ruin it and so I ask my other question.

"Do you have a world where in technology far surpass my previous one?"

"Many."

"And, do you know those technologies, I mean, do you have knowledge about them?"

"Of course. I'm a god."

Damn, why am I getting nervous?!

Will she accept?

What I truly want is... I want to travel. Not on the land nor sea. But at space.

A second life in another world where I can roam freely.

Such paradise.

The goddess made a smirk as if mocking me.

"Nothing. You can do whatever you want but it needs time. If you suddenly introduce it to them, they will surely self destruct."

"I-I won't do that!"

"Oh~, you're not just greedy, but selfish too,"
