THE ACADEMY LIFE

With the start of second year came back all the Main Characters.

Unlike the first year the second year wasn't based on theoretical classes but Combat, starting from the second year all the way to fifth year we were to focus on improving our combat power.

So before the start of second year the rankings were to be rearranged. Unlike the first year the second year rankings were based on combat abilities so all thousand students were made to fight each other in rounds.

Of course our main characters were ranked in top 10 and once again got a place in ANTELIA.

What's cool was that I was ranked second. Since the only one above me was Jimmy Horten who unexpectedly was at 'Intermediate 3 star' realm since he is cultivating using high grade cultivation technique since he was a child.

After defeating me and Sam he was agitated and gave off a important piece of information in excitement. He was probably punished by his family since he was missing from the academy for 3 months after that.

Sam unexpectedly came 6th in the rankings since all the top 5 were Main Characters except for me and were at same cultivation level or higher than him but also has no fighting experience as he was only a commoner with no cultivation before entering the academy.

The stay in ANTELIA was worthwhile. From personal butler to specialised balanced diets with professionally cooked monster meat. Instead of a room we got a whole floor to ourselves. Individual gravity room to train under gravity. Training room with training dummy's and cultivation room with more more than 3 times mana density to cultivate as compared to outside.

But just because the name is ANTELIA doesn't mean it's the same one as first year one. The dorms for students of each year are separated by a block and each dorms follow the same 4 building design and a middle building in between names ANTELIA and as such there are total of 5 ANTELIAS for 1st year to 5 year students.

From second year the Academy issues the law of merit points. The external currency is useless inside academy and everything from potions to high grade cultivation rooms and gravity rooms can be used or bought by merit points.

You can even get a {A} grade cultivation and martial technique which is the Highest ranked techniques in the Academy library with merit points.

Although they will require hundred of thousands of merit points something which can only be accumulated by fourth and fifth year students.

For a couple million merit points can even get you a {A} grade magic art.

The second year and third year passed as breeze. Sam recieved a pretty high grade sword technique from vice principal and very unsuprisingly his plot armour ..cough ..ahmm.. his protagonist luck came up and he got a very high grade anti-magic sword art in a desert location during a outing which nullifies magic and is very good in swordsmanship.

Sam ranked 2nd in third year combat rankings just below Jimmy. Jimmy was also a swordsman and also trained his family's high grade sword art to Intermediate mastery.

Anna trained in Archery while Cassandra went for ice elemental magic art, her art seem pretty strong. I honestly didn't know since Campbell family's lineage wasn't that long for them to have a high grade magic art but well whatever.

Karina had all the sources in the world and went for Spear arts just like her father. It want be an exaggeration to say that her spear art maybe the only {SSS} grade spear art in the Empire.

There were many clubs and club activities during these 2 years, there were also many training programs from the academy and we received various rewards from them.

I went for many quests like monster subjugation and bandits subjugation provided by the Academy to earn merit points together with Sam while going alone sometimes.

It was just like the Academy's own Adventure's Guild.

I won't forget how I was bullied many times by Jimmy because of the animosity between our families.

Despite my handsome looks I had no other friend other than Sam as most were afraid to offend the Horten family by talking to me.

There were also secret realm opened by the Academy during the start of third year where we faced many life threatening dangers but also obtained many treasures to aid cultivation but even then ..

I was barely able to maintain my position in top ten during third year rankings. My Cultivation was lowest among all the top 10 since I was reaching close to my maximum potential, my Cultivation speed started to decrease.

By the end of third year I was at peak of 4 star while Main characters and others in top 10 were already in 5 star while Sam and Jimmy were already at peak of 5 star with Sam being close to breakthrough to 6 star.

The fourth year also went by with many things happening such as the opening of secret realm in the continent where only people under age of 20 and with cultivation between 3 star' to 5 star were allowed.

Sam was barely able to enter as if it was even a week late he would already broken through to 6 star.

All the races joined in the expedition of secret realm. The dangers, treasures and opportunities here were heavenly as compared to Academy's own secret realm.

I was easily able to qualify among the top 50 who were selected by the academy since as long as the difference between cultivation isn't too big, I am confident in myself and our families Sword Art.

Inside the secret realm we were attacked many times by teams from the Aster Empire which is also another human Empire.

Although I was considerably strong inside the realm in starting as I broke through soon after stepping inside the realm because of high mana density inside.

Even though I was an early 5 star I was able to fight even advanced 5 star opponents without getting cornered. But as time went by many who were already at peak 5 star even before entering the realm were able to breakthrough to 6sm star.

My luck wasn't very good, I heard many rumours of different humans, elves, beastmens getting enviable treasures but all I got were some Measly left overs.

After getting out of the realm after 6 months I was only at peak 5 star whereas Sam was already at 7 star while other Main Characters at peak 6 star.

The rest of the year went by and by the end of the year I had broken through 6 star and got a early Graduation from the Academy.

Since I had already reached my maximum potential which is 6 star the academy didn't wanted to waste more resources and time on me and graduated me even before the start of Fifth year.
