She couldn't help but be stunned. It was not that she did not have any suspicions regarding his origins. His face and habits was very much similar to her own father. Also he (the king) was allergic to cinnamon like her and her father so her suspicions had become stronger.

She had conducted a DNA test secretly but the results were negative. So there was only one possibility that the result was fake and there were only a handful of people that could do this under her nose. Now she was sure that those old fogies already knew about his origins and were helping him to get the throne. This explains the reason why she could not get any information about his origins.
