A quick smile of satisfaction flashed but soon disappeared on Ning Rou's face, the old woman did not notice it.

"But grandma, we have to ask sister first for her opinion!", the girl spoke, sounding worried with a panicked expression.

"Ask? She should be grateful that she has the chance to marry someone of such high status, she has no other choice and if she dares to refuse then...she would know the consequences because I will make sure she marries him by hook or by crook!", The woman said fiercely.

"But grandma sister..." Ning Rou tried to speak but her grandmother stopped her.

Ning Xi stood at the door observing their drama for a while, when they were done she chuckled and snorted before dragging her feet upstairs to find her room completely ignoring them.

The old woman noticed that and frowned as she got angry.

"Elders?Take a look at yourself and ask yourself if you deserve to be called an elder", Ning Xi rolled her eyes and continued to walk away.

Ning Rou watched them and smiled, she wanted everyone to hate that b*tch.

As the two spoke the family butler Tan Ye walked in and whispered something into Ning You's ears causing Ning You to smile.

"RouRou go get a beautiful dress, Shu Man's family is holding a banquet to celebrate the old man Shu Yei's sixtieth birthday next week in the evening, make sure to look very pleasing I'll inform your parents too", she smiled and pushed Ning Rou to go upstairs.

Ning Xi woke up and yawned before stretching her body, if she remembered correctly in the story, she was a weak girl who would do anything to please her family, to please her sister she always got low marks in examinations and failed in everything else.

Hah! that was over now, she Ning Xi would not allow that.

She walked downstairs and saw everyone seated down having dinner, it turned out no one had sent for her.
