In the domain of the now-extinct Valafar Family, the troops of the Resistance, led by Serafall Sitri, were on the brink of cornering Damaidus Zereikel Asmodeus, son of Satan Asmodeus, and his troops, thanks to their overwhelming power. But the situation took a sudden turn when a powerful ally came to Asmodeus's aid. The army of the six families descended from Lucifer, led by Grayfia Lucifuge, joined the fray, bolstering the royal army's strength. Grayfia positioned herself at the front lines to confront Serafall, whose demonic ice powers were suppressing the royal army's frontline troops single-handedly. For days, the two most powerful demon women on opposing sides engaged in a furious battle of demonic power, aura, and magic.

"I'll freeze you to death, Grayfia!" Serafall, with her immense magical ability, instantly froze her surroundings, but Grayfia countered with her own aura, dispelling Serafall's icy world. Frustrated, Serafall found her freezing aura ineffective against Grayfia's formidable powers.

"Serafall! What are you doing here?" Serafall's tone betrayed a mix of emotions as she greeted Sirzechs.

"It's a long story," Sirzechs replied, addressing Grayfia next. "Grayfia..."

Though briefly pained by his presence, Grayfia maintained her composure and issued a cold response: "Sirzechs. I won't hold back, even if it's against you."

He was there to meet with the head of the Nebiros house and the director of the institution, Zaoroma Nebiros. Upon entering the room, he was greeted by a chilling aura, emanating from one of the stone statues found in the underground remains: the Malebranche. "Oh, it's you. I was just about to release one of them as proof of execution."

Sargatanas felt a sense of dread as he realized that Zaoroma intended to awaken the Malebranche, the ancient weapon sealed within the underground remains. Zaoroma inquired about any news Sargatanas might have on the subject.

"Tefarme-sama died in combat, and things are looking dire. Some forces are returning to battle, but I doubt they can stop those with extreme powers."

Sargatanas referred to Sirzechs Gremory, Ajuka Astaroth, Serafall Sitri, and Falbium Glasya-Labolas, who were known for their extraordinary abilities. He addressed the stone statue of Barbariccia, the integrated commander of the Malebranche, discussing the ongoing war and its implications.

The confrontation between Sirzechs Gremory's army and Serafall Sitri's forces on the side of the Resistance, and Damaidus Zereikel Asmodeus's army along with the six families descended from Lucifer, continued relentlessly. The former Valafar domain, the battleground, suffered immense damage to its land and landscape.
