I'm dead?

"Sniff…" Cuifen Inhaled and then exhaled "aaah~". She has seated nearby the twitching body of Shi. Trying to calm herself from all the events that happened before and knowing she didn't have too much time to lose, she needed to help the young man with all her attention, after all, putting a needle on a cultivator dantian could easily cripple him.

Using her left hand she started to search near her right shoulder blade for the needle Long Shin told her. She was doing it neither fast nor slow. Even if she was still in bad conditions, she was fearing that the mysterious voice would shout at her again.

Soon enough she found a weird round thing, it was the tip of the needle Shi made, the problem was that when she started to pull it using two of her fingers her robe would lock it in place making it impossible for the young woman to pull it off her meridian.

Trying it more sometimes but it was just futile, the top of the needle would be blocked by the robe, again and again, infuriating Cuifen, seeing her only choice was to take the clothes off also gave her anxiety.

"Gulp" giving a gulp she shot a glance at the twitching Shi who was wearing a pained expression on his gaunt face, his chest going up and down fast. She remembered the first time they meet, he saved her from some guys then just ran away without saying his name, she still remembers that he got a cut on his shoulder. The way he fought never disappeared from her mind.

And analyzing by the rag tissues on his left arm, he still fought dangerously, like he should give his all to kill the enemy. As her thoughts started to wander in this direction she then remembered one of her elder sister's teachings. That sometimes it was better to just do it than to think about it.

She knew that her sister changed a lot after her parents dead and would always carry a burden inside her head, even if it was not her fault.

She said loudly "Senior please don't look this way" as the crack on her voice was enough to drive any men crazy. But she receives nothing as an answer. Clenching her teeth hard, she took the silence as a 'yes' and using her right arm to hold the robe on her breasts, she then loosened the robe. And with agility, she took the needle of her meridian. And with the same speed, she put her robe back in.

If Long Shin was not that busy enough holding back the energy inside Shi's body, he would find the girl's actions funny. Sadly he could not let anything go wrong. Those last days were just bad situations following by even worse situations.

As Shi opened his purple eyes and all he could see was darkness. "I'm dead?" it was the first thought that crossed his mind. He could not feel anything, neither heard. It was like he was in the void.

He tried to move his leg and walk forward, but it was like his body was different, and when his feet touched the ground a loud splash sounded, he felt like he stepped into a puddle.

Suddenly loud snoring sounded, and then two big purple lanterns lit the darkness. Shi felt his body freeze in place, but he still could feel his heart beating the same way as always like those two giant floating things are nothing.

As the time looked like it stopped, Shi finally understood that the two shining purple things he was seeing were two big eyes, then, its pupils shrank, forming two beautiful slits adorned by purple jewels, the eyes were looking straight at the young man, making even his stubborn heart beat fast, for some reason he doesn't felt any disgust or threat from the eyes, only curiosity.

The two giant lanterns got closer to Shi who standing fixed in place. It circulated by and watched him like he was some treasure.

"Oh? You are very different from the last time we saw each other boy" An enchanting woman's voice sounded very low on Shi's ears, making his body tremble.

"Last… time?" Shi's started to thought about the woman's words. But no matter how much time he wasted, it was fruitless. He could not remember anything. This gave him a little bit of anxiety, but at the same time relief, since this was not his first time here, so he definitely was not dead.

"Huhuhu" a burst of muffled laughter sounded in the darkness, as a luster shone in the giant purple eyes. "There is no need to try to remember it since you also won't remember this time" the voice sounded again.

The sunlight was already breaking into the small cave, Cuifen could finally have a view of everything inside it. She could see that the cave wasn't nature made, it could be a beast, but she knew deep down it was Shi's the one who made it.

This made the woman feel more agitated as she was carrying the thin needle to his stomach, it was the first time she touched a man skin, Shi had smooth skin but because of the metamorphosis he had before, his body was on a weird balance as his muscles take every single piece of energy making him look skinny and muscular at the same time.

She was having a little of a bad time, Long Shin only gave her some words before not saying anything "Found a meridian the closes you can near his dantian and make his energy circulate all over his body".

With red clouds all over her face she kept searching with her left hand, every time she founded a small concentration of energy she engraved it on her mind as look for another it was like she was more studying his energy paths than trying to save him.
