Inside the cave in the dark abyss (4)

Even with the low orange light that the coal was emitting, Cuifen still could see Shi poor situation, Those who made her dazzled were his left arm that was like a mummy bandaged from his shoulder to his fingertips, because of the low light she couldn't confirm if the dark marks on his bandages are blood, but she suspects it was.

The light in her eyes changed, as she started to think about everything that happened in the forest. Shi wasn't looking anymore, he was turning his weary body to face the wall. It was a movement that showed his good faith in her, if she wanted to kill him, he couldn't even react. He then picked her space ring inside his own and threw it as he said "Take it, that giant woman gave me your space ring".

Hearing his words she woke up, seeing the ring spinning in the air as the orange light was being reflected on its smooth surface she shot another glance at Shi, he was the guy who saved her. Two times already, even if the first time wasn't that much this time however she knew he did the impossible. She didn't know how the sect and elder sister react, neither how he could get away, thinking about the 'hot' massage earlier her face became hot and she became furious again, clenching the teeth as she picked the ring and took a robe from it as fast as she could.

Her eyes never left Shi, the only reason she didn't kill him was that she owed him, inside her head, she was trying to balance everything up, her body was still weary so she could only put the robe slowly, she didn't want to give him any room to see her body so she didn't put any undergarment.

Shi was facing the stone wall, as he heard the sound of Cuifen wearing her clothes, in the meantime he tried to speak with Long Shin, but the only thing he heard was mumbling and chanting on his mind, he didn't know what was that all about, but without his father to say anything funny or stupid making him feel lonely.

Cuifen finally finished wearing some clothes, as she used a piece of cloth to knot her robe, it looked like Liang's robe. Because of the knot, her curves were being fully displayed and in her chest, a deep snow valley was being exposed. As she finished she could finally take some weight off her shoulders and she fell on her butt.

Looking at the honest boy watching the stone wall she then sighed and said "It's fine you look this way now" but she couldn't let it go and the sound was a little muffed as it sounded between her teeth. After some time Shi still didn't turn to face her, frowning she said again, this time in a loud tone that echoed a little in the small cave.

"I told you, it's fine" In the end, she just let some air out of her nose and turned to the side, in her head, he was acting like a kid and ignoring him because of the way she acted before, but many women would act that way. But after some time Shi gave no response whatsoever, so she started to suspect something was wrong, remembering the poor state the young man was she started to move near him.

Because it was getting darker in the cave she couldn't see Shi who was having little spasms from time to time, but still was in the same position, all muscles of his body were twitching. As she finally got to him she could see he wasn't in the best state.

His eyes are unfocused and he was clearly out of his mind, Cuifen started to panic. "Talk with me prince gorilla are you okay?" she could see his veins popping up on his white paper face. "Okay, okay, don't panic I already got this I will help you just, keep calm ok" she didn't know if she was trying to keep Shi calm or herself.

She put him laying down face the stone roof, his unfocused eyes were the creepiest thing she ever had, it was like someone turned off his mind, as she gave a dry gulp she passed her hands between her hair and could feel the pricky hair cut by a sword on her skin. But with a shake of her head, she started focusing on Shi again.

"Ahn… okay let's take a look at your pulse first, it's what doctors always do" she put her slender white hand on Shi's skinny right arm, she could feel the perspiration moistening his skin and his veins smoldering his skin, this only made her, even more, confuse, her breath was short as she was in a mixture of panic excitement for some reason.

Inside the Heavenly Circlet, Long Shin was seating in a lotus pose as the seal in his hands was always changing and from his mind, a chant was being sung in a monotone tone like he was a machine. He could sense the girl's presence as she put her hand on Shi's pulse and this was the opportunity he needed.

"Little girl, I need your help, can you take the needles he used in you and put them on his navel?" Sending a message with mind power to her, he almost scared the girl out of her wits. The only reason she didn't jump high and beat her head on the stone roof was that her body was too weary for this kind of reaction.

"Who? she asked in a weak tone looking everywhere at the cave that was almost engulfed in darkness as the coal was already extinguished.

"His father, we don't have time for this, believe me, I need you to pick the needles he used in you and then help me to treat him" Long Shin said in a hurry as his normally lazy tone wasn't there to be heard. He was finally feeling the limitations of being a clone made of a single drop of blood. There is a lot of thing he could do but to take care of his children physically wasn't one of it, but being an experienced cultivator, he wouldn't get nervous.

Cuifen could understand the point of Long Shin's words but isn't easy to follow a voice coming from nowhere, people were scared of what they didn't know.

Seeing the panicked state the girl was Long Shin rolled his closed eyes and said "Don't take your hand off his body, it's the only way we could talk, right now I helping his bones purify and refine the qi it took off your body, but it's in its essence a malicious type of energy, that's why he is in such pain, you are in the same state before".

Cuifen head was still dizzy from everything that happened, but she was no kid. Taking a deep breath full of air she let the bad qi go out of her mouth. Remembering her elder sister's words the best time to act calm was when you normally weren't calm. Beating her face with both hands she woke herself up and put her hand on Shi's pulse again.

Then she thought "An…Uncle? Where is the needles this guy used before?" as she said 'before' her face got red but since it was dark she thought Long Shin couldn't see it. But after some time there was no reply at all.

She tried again some times and nothing, this made her bit her big bottom lip anxiously, Shi was twitching in pain and she had no knowledge or experience in medicine.

"What are you doing girl pick the needles already and put on the meridians near his dantian, NOW!" Long Shin yelled at Cuifen who was anxiously looking at Shi's state.

It made the girl jump in fright again, she wanted to cry but had no tears, she tried multiple times to talk with him but had no response and now this uncle was scolding her, she only wanted to get home and never think about this night again. But no matter where she looked she didn't found any needle on the floor. Then she sent a glance at Shi, and with a nod, she took the decision to search his upper body, but there was no needle on him.

She could only feel his muscles that felt like boulders, she was taken back at his sturdiness, he looked more like a sicky boy than a strong and sturdy man, but his muscles felt the opposite.

"The needles were at your back girl, there is one in your right shoulder blade, that is enough, I just need you to make the spirit qi to circulate on his body" Long Shin was almost losing his patience with the girl, she looked like a green flower that can't do anything besides acting tough.
