"Come on Ahri, it's time for your first day of high school! Oh, you're already dressed."

"Of course I am, mom. High school is where all the ROMANCE happens~"

"…I wish I could embarrass you myself, but it looks like you've already got that covered."

"Hm? Why would I be embarrassed??"

'This stupid daughter of mine has been so obsorbed in her Shoujo manga that she's taking the surprise out of youth already…', the mother thinks to herself disappointedly, 'well, whatever. She's got her mother's looks, so she'll still win in the end, hehe.'.

'Why do I get the feeling that I'm being betrayed right now?', Ahri senses.

"Wait for me downstairs as I get ready before driving you."

"Ok!", Ahri energetically agrees.

As Ahri eats her breakfast, she thinks about the manga she read the night before, 'Haaaa… I can't wait to meet my future husband~ wait wait wait. Ahri, that's unrealistic.

Once Ahri is dropped off at her new school's campus, she feels that in her moment of excitement that she is vulnerable to being lost, and quickly looks around for people to ask for directions on where the first years gather.

She then spots a female student with long black hair, "E-excuse me!".

The female student turns around, and her beauty stands out.

'Wow, she must have put in more effort for this high school debut than me. Actually, I can't make such assumptions, maybe she's always been this beautiful? Gosh… I'm so anxious that I'm thinking on 100x speed right now, ANYWAYS-',

"T-today is my first day at school. Is it yours as well?".

"Yes~", the pretty female student answers happily.

"Great! Would you happen to know where we're supposed to go?"

"I'm still looking around as well, but hey, two pairs of eyes are better than one, so would you like to look around for the rest of the grade with me?"

Ahri gets excited, 'A potential first friend~ and one that I can tell is going to be popular soon enough. Things are developing nicely!!', "Yes please! And thank you!".

"My pleasure.", she expresses a genuine smile.

'She gives off a really grown up vibe. Maybe I could learn a thing or two from her?',

"My name's Ahri, what's yours?".
