Chapter 49: Emerald Tablets
A light blue beam of light similar to the color of the sky comes out of the staff of the wolf-headed being and goes straight to the forehead of Jasmine. Her brows furrow and her body sweats a little, but she remains asleep.
She soon tosses and turns in her sleep, as if the sky-blue beam of light emitted from the staff is making her very uncomfortable.
(Sorry little one, I know it can cause discomfort but it will all be over soon; I promise.)
After a few more seconds, Jasmine’s body stops turning, and her breathing becomes shallow. Her body finally stops, resisting the beam of the wolf-headed being taking his staff away.
(Rest peacefully my child.)
At this point the wolf-headed being draws his attention over to Professor Thelete and positions the staff over his forehead as well. Soon a white beam similar to the one that was used on Jasmine comes out of it.
