Chapter 48: Lost
“Let’s look around and see if we can discover any actual evidence of such technology.” Professor Thelete suggested to his assistant.
“Good idea.” Jasmine replied.
The two of them spend some time in the room trying to ascertain any evidence of high-end level technology. Much to their dismay, they find nothing beyond the bass reliefs that they had already discovered which triggered their initial search.
“Perhaps we will need to head further into the caverns in order to make our discovery.” Jasmine suggested, as it became abundantly clear that they were wasting their time in this chamber.
Professor Thelete nodded in response and they both left the room and continued to head west. They took some stairs further down into the earth and were soon greeted with a chamber that was, for the most part, empty. Besides some stone columns holding it up, there was nothing in this chamber except a bunch of pathways.
