Primordial Eyes

Jone, when he lived on earth, was a handsome young man who, for traumatic reasons as a child, lived in his locked house, living melancholically. Because he was blind in both eyes, he felt he would never see the beautiful side of life. And because of that, he made no effort to do anything and deeply regretted it. When he died and woke up in the body of a fifteen-year-old boy in another world where powerful cultivators, mystical beings, and divine races lived, he decided to live his new life as he wanted and without regrets. Right when he woke up, he discovered that in this new world, his eyes were now special, they carried great powers but were extremely difficult to control, and they had great seals that locked away something that this world had long forgotten. Feeling of Danger

'Finally, it's over. Although I didn't achieve a surprising increase in strength, I think it served some purpose. Now I know that I need other things besides beasts, or my dantian won't remain balanced.'

'This will probably affect me later.'

As Jone contemplated, he suddenly heard a scream behind him.

Then a great pressure came from his back, while his right eye sent him a sense of danger.

Without hesitation, Jone quickly dodged to the side, using the maximum speed that Night Bird's Tracks could provide.

He touched his neck, and a little blood was oozing from a small cut.

"Darn, if I hadn't broken through earlier, this blow would have hit me directly."

Jone thought, and a wave of anger surged in his mind. His right eye felt the sensation and began to get excited.

He quickly glanced at the old woman who had attacked him and saw a black dagger covered with Qi in her hand.

"You stinking brat, forget about leaving this place alive. I don't know what you did to the tree, but I will unearth it from your body, even if I have to open you up completely," the old woman screamed wildly as she advanced toward Jone again.

'What the heck, has this old woman completely lost her mind?'

"Tsk, come on, as if I'm afraid of an old woman," Jone said, while his right eye started pulsing like a second heart. His blood flowed rapidly through his entire body, turning his vision red.

In his vision, the old woman quickly reached him as her dagger approached his head.

Jone saw the old woman's movements slow down as he dodged again, and this time, not a single cut appeared on his body.

Entering his combat state doubled his strength. Jone felt that now he could stay in this state for much longer after breaking through, and also because the energy in his dantian was balanced.

"Hahaha, old woman, it seems you're just that much," Jone said as a scythe suddenly appeared in his hand.

Jone was excited again; he would finally have a real fight without facing beasts.

"Damned brat, I'll kill you!" The old woman shouted as a large amount of Qi gathered in her dagger, and then she slashed the dagger towards Jone.

'Lunar Scythe.'

Qi emerged from his dantian and ran through parts of his body as he felt lighter, and soon it was as if the scythe was one with him.

Black energy concentrated on the scythe's blade as Jone struck the old woman.

'BOOM!!'

An explosion occurred as Jone was thrown backward. As he recovered from the impact, he felt danger again, and the old woman quickly appeared in front of him with the dagger pointed at his neck.

The Qi strike was just a distraction, and Jone couldn't dodge in time.

'Darn.'

'Growing Despair.'

Jone used all the strength he could muster as a terrifying energy surged from his right eye. The old woman in front of him stopped, horror appearing on her face, and she couldn't move.

Jone didn't waste time and struck his scythe at the old witch's neck with all his might.

'It's over, old woman,' Jone thought in his mind, but just as the scythe was about to pass through her neck…

'Clang.'

Jone felt something hitting his scythe as a strong impact sent him flying several meters back.

He quickly recovered and saw what had pushed him. He noticed a black arrow on the ground, seemingly completely broken due to the impact.

Jone looked angrily towards the exit and saw an old man holding a bow with a quiver on his back, standing beside Elder Wu.

"Old witch, wake up!" Elder Wu shouted as the two elders quickly reached the old woman.

The old woman regained consciousness, completely oblivious to what had happened.

'What happened?' She asked after seeing the two beside her.

'He probably used his lineage ability. We only saw a terrifying energy coming out of his eyes for a second, and you were completely frozen. If I hadn't stopped him in time, your head would be off by now,' the elder with the bow said solemnly.

'I only remember seeing a terrifying being, more terrifying than anything I've ever seen in my life. I was trapped and couldn't do anything,' the old witch said with a hint of fear.

'It must be an illusion ability. Yes, we can't be careless when facing people with awakened bloodlines. The rumor was correct: I'm sure his lineage is celestial now, or it would be impossible for his realm to affect us.'

'The old witch and I will face him. You protect us with your bow in case he uses his ability again.'

'I doubt his Qi will last long after fighting us; I don't think we are his match in a solo fight.' Elder Wu spoke as a sword appeared in his hand.

'All right,' the two replied as they looked at Jone in a fighting stance.
