rematch

the girls were happily talking away, asking and answering questions as I slowly started regretting freeing the dragon.

they'd been talking non stop for 2 hours now amd I'd wanted to rip my ears off, their high pitched voices scratching at my ears like nails on a chalkboard as I was slowly losing it.

"OK!"(syn)

both quieted down a bit before looking at me.

"it's break time so I'm gonna take a nap."(syn)

I jumped high into the trees, settling on a high branch near the forest canopy away from the still talking girls, their voices not even a whisper all the way up here.

---

Amira pov....

our rendezvous with Kina had been successful, I'd fully healed my legs and subject 6 was able to regrow his horn, it was a productive meet with my sister as all three of us began gearing up, combat suits and all.

Syns aura had exploded once giving us an exact location and since then an aura trail has been left, it's stopped so far so we didn't have much time to do this, all of us running at full speed as we chased down our target.

---

I was enjoying the sparse sunlight and shade from where I'd beet sitting when both girls popped up next to me, something I really didn't want to happen.

"we should really get moving."(glacier dragon)

"we're fine here."(syn)

"we should get moving."(Raya)

I looked at both of them inquisitively as I was skeptical that they both had the same idea at the same time.

"what are you up to?"(syn) I asked Raya.

she nodded below us only for me to see three individuals that wanted to kill me, Amira, kina, and the bear I gave the quest to.

"stay here, I mean it, do NOT come down unless I specifically tell you to."(syn)

both girls nodded but I seriously doubted if they'd keep their word.

hopping down to the ground behind the slow moving trio I took a relaxed stance as I called out for them.

"yo, what's up?"(syn)

all three turned around quick and took defensive stances.

"sorry but there's not much out here, can't imagine what would bring you three all the way here."(syn)

"you killed thousands and expect no consequences?!"(Amira)

I didn't want to admit it but she did have a point.

but things wouldn't go to any plan as the dragon jumped down.

"you humans always do this, you kill your own kind then get mad when someone else does it, you hypocrites know nothing."(glacier dragon)

this sent Amira into a rage as kina had to hold her back.

"you say he's killed thousands of you, good, you vile creatures are the worst and he's done the world a favor, you enslave each other, Kipp each other, and everything else you deem unworthy, you're the monsters!"(glacier dragon)

"they're only part human."(syn) I informed the dragon.

"that's even worse, they claim to be so against other races but mingle with them freely before tossing them aside."(glacier dragon)

Raya would drop down next, landing just beside me, placing me in the front middle.

"as long as I have a food source then I'm perfectly fine with taking out the humans."(Raya)

tensions were soaring as I was placed at a cross roads, do I agree with my own group and place my sentiment in death to all humans, or do I help the group trying to kill me, somewhat justifiably though.

my mind was racing as both groups started to get ready to attack, the atmosphere so thick I could cut it with my limb blades.

"enough!"(subject 6)

all eyes turned to my blue haired and blue eyed doppelganger as he grew horns on his head and scales on his limbs.

"I came here for a rematch, don't get in my way!"(subject 6)

both of us vanished from their view as sonic booms weuoted throughout the forest, our figures appearing and disappearing throughout the branches as sounds of combat echoed in the ears of the people down below, the four girls watching in suspense as we threw attack after attack at each other, our strength seeming equal.

his energy beams would erupt through the forest as we battled, I was barely able to dodge them as he kept them firing at quick pace, draining me of my stamina.

minutes of this standstill would lock me and subject 6 together, our attacks either deflecting or blocked, the sonic booms and shockwaves sent echoing all over the place as debris followed us like a hungry animal wanting for more.

landing with a loud thud, the ground shaking hard, both of us stood from the crater.

the four girls watched on as our torn clothes and injured bodies gave way for many questions.

both of us huffing for breath as we stared down the other, our starkly different eyes studying the other.

he would lunge forward for a tackle, I would sidestep and elbow drop him to the ground.

the ground indenting before he coughed violently as his solar plexus had crushed into the ground.

I movedbaway from the wheezing doppelganger and towards my group, my clothes repairing themselves as I checked my BP.

[BP:265/275]

good thing it was only down by 5, that fight was intense and would've been even more a drain if I'd used any abilities.

the girls on his team looking at me with a mix of shock and anger, our fight had been barely visible amongst the landscape but our carnage of the trees was everywhere, there was no doubt this minutes long fight would be remembered by these three for a while.
