FIRST COMPANION IS THE BEST COMPANION I GUESS
Tharak is walking through the forest of Komari for two days. He is so happy that he is finally has a chance to meet his sister.
----Morning of the third day----
While going through the forest of Komari he heard a sound.
"Help..."
"Help..."
He rushed in the direction of the sound, but it was a cliff, and no one is there but he still hears the sound. Suddenly he felt that the cliff is shaking.
He walked two steps backwards and ran towards the edge and jumped off the cliff and grabbed a tree root. There is cave entrance near the root and jumped into the cave. There he found a small crow is being attacked by an Eagle. The crow is the one which is making the sound.
Suddenly the crow covered itself with flames and attacks the Eagle, but the eagle covered itself with water and nullified the crow's attack. The eagle flies backward and charged toward the crow.
Tharak defended the crow by being in between the two. After seeing Tharak, the eagle flew off. Tharak took the crow and used his mana to heal the wounds of the crow. The crow thanked him.
Tharak asked the crow," Why the Eagle is attacking you? before that how can you even speak? I thought Pranis cannot speak."
The crow replied," None of your business." and flew off... Tharak was irritated.
---- After some time passed ----
While Tharak is walking in the woods, suddenly something hit him from above and crashed on a tree. he was covered by blood on the place where the thing hit him. The tree trunk is spilled with blood as well.
Tharak looked behind the tree, and it was the same eagle that attacked the crow. he buried the eagle and left. while he is walking, he heard the sound of the crow again for help. He just ignored the sound and moved on.
He arrived at a village, and said," Sheesh, it's been three days since I left Komari. I want to have a nice Bath and comfy bed to sleep. I am hearing that damn crow's sound even now." He suddenly turned back and shouted," Just shut the hell up. I am not interested the things that are none of my business."
A lady near him shouted," You are the one who is making Noice here, so SHUT THE F**K UP."
Tharak asked the lady," Aren't you annoyed of this sound for help."
The lady replied," First, I don't hear any sound other than yours, and second, you said it was a sound asking for help so I will go and help where the sound is coming from."
Tharak apologized to the lady and went to look for an inn. Suddenly the sound was stopped, and Tharak was relieved. after the bath Tharak ate like a mad man and hit the bed for sleep.
The next day he left the village early. While walking in the woods, something hit him on his Shoulder and fell on the ground. It was that crow which is covered with blood. He asked the crow," What happened to you?" The crow said, " Thats none of your business." and died.
Suddenly Tharak woke up. It was a dream. He put his gauntlets and left the inn towards the place he buried the dead eagle. Then he rushed towards the direction the eagle's dead body came from. Then he sat on a tree there he found a big cave at 50 ft distance with two guard eagles that are as big as a human.
Tharak closed his eyes his body started to be covered by white mana. Mana on his body started to fade and only the mana on the legs intensified. He used partial transformation on legs, and his legs transformed into tiger legs. The guard eagles spotted the light emitted from the mana and prepared to check.
Suddenly Tharak appeared behind the guards by the speed boost from the partial transformation and transferred his partial transformation from his legs to hands and took them out in a single sweep. Two more guards inside the cave saw Tharak and activated the emergency signal.
All the solider Eagles inside the cave came to stop Tharak. Tharak used partial transformation on both legs and hands to fight. The eagles are no match for Tharak's speed and strength. But there are so many eagles, some eagles even have elemental attributes. Tharak started take damage.
Tharak thinks," Strength in numbers, Eh? Well holding back in this situation will kill me. Saving strength for the big monster inside means nothing when I'm dead. Time to go full power."
Tharak's body is covered with white mana like before. The mana transformed into white electricity and said towards the eagles," 5 seconds". He defeated all the eagles in 8 seconds and said," 3 seconds extra" disappointedly.
Tharak went deep inside of the cave and saw a massive eagle which has legs and hands like human but covered by feathers which is as big as house. Tharak thinks to himself," Woah it looks like a hybrid." The big eagle is connected to a cube by a mana thread where the small crow is inside unconsciously.
Tharak used his mana to break the mana thread. The big eagle was so angry made Noice so loud that destroyed the entire cave. The big eagle lunged towards Tharak and kicked him that made him to hit himself on the tree he sat on while he found the cave and he coughed some blood.
He used his mana to him himself. With the remaining mana he has, he can maintain the full power form only for 7 seconds. He goes full power and attacks the big eagle. Tharak and the eagle landed some hits on each other.
Tharak is at the end of his mana. He transferred his partial transformation of his hands to his legs and lunged towards the eagle at a high speed and at moment of the contact he transferred his partial transformation to his hands and covered only his hands with white electricity and made one big strike. The eagle was thrown away into the deep woods. Tharak was collapsed on the ground.
He heard a sound," Is that the best you can do?" says the big eagle while standing in front of him. He asked the eagle," You can speak too?" The eagle replied," That's none of your business." Tharak chuckled and said, "You damn birds are all the same" and he fainted.
When he woke up, he was on a bed covered in bandages and said," my head hurts."
the lady who shouted at him yesterday came into the room and said you are one big of a mess. Tharak asked the lady that who saved him. The lady replied," It was the soldiers from Geom clan. They found you who was lying on the ground covered in blood and near you they found the big monster eagle which was dead by a hole through the heart."
Tharak asked," Who defeated the eagle?" The lady replied," Well I thought you are the one who made a donut out of the monster, I guess it was someone else." " Maybe it was that crow", Tharak muttered to himself. The lady said," The Geom clan asked to report you about the monster at the Manith tower.
---- After three days rest----
Tharak thanked the lady for her hospitality and left the village. After some time while walking through the forest, he stopped and said," If you want to say something about none of my business thing, you can come out and say it to my face." Then the crow came in front of him and said," Thanks." both of them starred at each other for a while, then Tharak said," Well, see ya" and moved on.
suddenly the crow said," I don't know how I can speak. I just can speak from birth. It's been 7 days since I came out of egg. since then, they are attacking me. The monster eagle wants my mana I guess, that's why they are attacking me."
Tharak said," Fire attribute is so rare among monsters, maybe that's why the monster eagle attacked you. maybe it's because of your mana that monster can speak."
Tharak said," Well, you look good, then I'm leaving, take care." the Crow said I want to come with you." Tharak asked," why?" and the crow said,' you said fire attribute is rare, what if I got attacked by a new monster? so please, take me with you."
After some thought Tharak agreed, and said," You are a crow with fire attribute, so your name is Phoenix." Pheonix asked Tharak," why are you travelling? are you a solider or something?" Tharak replied," that's none your business." and continued their journey to the Manith tower.
