Chapter-42: Chiyo vs Sasori!

After traveling for a bit more, Sasori was found but Gaara was still nowhere to be found.

I forbid my team to fight him first and let Chiyo do the talking.

If she can convince him to surrender, I will have chess piece for myself, albeit very unstable.

"Ah it's been quite a while, isn't it, Chiyo?" Hiruko puppet (Sasori) said.

"It truly has been a while, Sasori." Chiyo said as she started molding her chakra.

"So what pleasure do I owe you?" Hiruko puppet said as he started spin around his arms from the elbow joint in really absurd ways.

"Sunagakure has done a lot for you, Sasori. Even I did a lot of you, to give you love that you deserved...But I failed. Will you give me another chance to start over and come back home? I promise it will be way better than before. Sunagakure is finally making a lot of progress and misery is going away now." Chiyo said as a tear fell from her cheeks.

Rock Lee, Neji and Tenten were enraged to see this scene but I didn't allow them to jump in and break down this.

Sasori stayed silent for a while as he gazed at Chiyo with empty eyes, devoid of any emotion.

He didn't have anything but apathy in those eyes.

His eyes colder than even the deepest regions of Yukigakure.

"I tried to stay. I tried really hard." He finally spoke as he tore down his clothes as his eyes widen.

"But everyone around me kept on disappointing me...Again...and Again and again. Nothing could replace the void in me...Only puppets were able to do it and I am happy with it. So...Chiyo, Goodbye." Sasori said as he guided his tail to pierce Chiyo.

Chiyo merely stood there, unmoving but suddenly, she burst into a white cloud, revealing a log getting pierced.

"I figured as much." Chiyo said as she suddenly appeared behind him inside her Gundam puppet she was controlling and punched him on the back, crushing the shell of Hiruko's puppet as well as her own puppet's hand in one go.

She then started beating up the Hiruko puppet recklessly, without stopping, like a mad dog, all the while Hiruko wasn't able to find an opening to retreat.

After some more beatdown, Hiruko puppet finally broke, revealing Sasori inside whose's eyes were as wide as saucers. He suddenly hugged Chiyo's half destroyed puppet, making her falter momentarily.

During that time, he quickly retreated and a hissing sound came from behind Chiyo's puppet.

Chiyo realized instantly what happened and quickly yanked her puppet towards Sasori as she came out of her own puppet, hurriedly.

And the puppet suddenly exploded!

Sasori used Explosion tags when he hugged Chiyo!

Chiyo's escape was perfectly timed, even a single millisecond late and she would've become meat chunks already.

"Hahahahaha! That was an ingenious puppet, Granny Chiyo! As expected from the person who taught me everything regarding puppets." Sasori said as he gave her a smile filled with malice and insanity.

"I will put you out of your misery very soon, Sasori. Very soon." Chiyo said as she brought out the mother and father puppets.

"This brings back a lot memories. I will also give you a sense of nostalgia. You are already poisoned, Chiyo. I will show how much progress I have made. Consider it a gift. At best, you can last for 3 days." Sasori said as he unsealed a scroll and brought out another puppet, which sent a chill down Chiyo's spine.

This was 3rd Kazekage's puppet.

But he was interrupted by a lot of shuriken, kunai and weapons being thrown at him.

"Do you need any help, Chiyo-san?" I said as Tenten to moved out and distract him for some time.

She engaged Sasori with a f*ck ton of weapons.

"I'd be grateful, Konoha's jonin." Chiyo said as she laughed a little as she fell down, hyperventilating.

Rock Lee and Neji were quite confused at this scene.

"Poison. Really strong one at that. Fortunately, I had enough time to make the antidotes for a lot of Sunagakure's poison. Do you want one?" I said as I showed it to her, getting a surprised reaction out of her.

Making Antidotes for poisons was extremely hard to and Sunagakure was known for its absurd poison compositions.

"I am Tsunade's student, after all. Quick, tell me. Do you want it?" I asked.

"Yes." She said.

"You owe me 2 favors now, Chiyo-san." I said as I injected her in the neck with the antidote, which started working rapidly, converting the deadly poison into harmless proteins.

She instantly felt better.

"Now, if you don't mind, I have a grandson to deal with." She said as she stood up.

She was about to lose her balance but was assisted by Rock Lee and Neji.

"Thank you." She said as she moved on and started fighting Sasori.

I pulled out Tenten out of combat and gave her some antidote as well. She isn't really useful right now but having an alive friendly ninja is better than a dead one in the current situation.

Chiyo immediately engaged Sasori with mother and father puppet and they started fighting once again.

Chiyo rapidly dodged or deflected every attack as soon while carefully avoiding the Iron sand that was being controlled by 3rd Kazekage's puppet.

Eventually, it came down to exchanging hits between mother father duo and 3rd Kazekage which resulted in 3rd Kazekage winning, but it was completely destroyed as a result.

Just as Sasori saw a chance to kill Chiyo, he was...launched towards her?

My shadow clone had used a Rasengan on Sasori from behind.

I wanted to join the fight but I didn't see any reason to waste my chakra so just one Rasengan will be do.

Just one rasengan.

...Near the edge of Sasori's butthole.

"Kancho~ Rasengan!" My clone said as we both couldn't contain our laughter.

""Pfft! Hahahaha!"" Me and my clone laughed heartily as he came to me and high fived me.

"Best jutsu ever!" Clone said as he undid himself.

Rock Lee also laughed a bit and Neji laughed for a moment before he tried to suppress it.

I felt bad for doing such a childish thing but it was funny as hell and I couldn't control myself after seeing such an opportunity.

Chiyo was definitely surprised when Sasori was launched but she didn't panic at all.

She controlled father mother puppet duo's rubbles and combined them into becoming one puppet which looked like a demon with red hair.

It had a lot of sharp and jagged weapons on it as well.

"Sasori puppet!" Chiyo said as she guided it to pierce Sasori who had controlled his trajectory and was using the momentum from Rasengan to attack.

Quite a nice save but the damage was already done.

He faltered a bit and the puppet was able to pierce him cleanly, through his stomach and arms.

Sasori's body went limp for second and Chiyo also relaxed.

She had her own set of poisons and was sure that it must've acted on Sasori finally.

A slow acting poison that will paralyze the person and killing them in one day.

A new type of poison she concocted.

"Just kidding." Sasori suddenly moved his arms as two tubes came out of his arm and spat a lot of flames on Chiyo's face.

Chiyo was extremely surprised because of this and the flames burnt her face away.

Just as she was about to die, she controlled Sasori puppet to pierce Sasori's chest and throw his away.

Because Sasori's core was damaged, he bent down and spasmed as he spat a lot of blood while Chiyo screamed in pain because her face was burnt terribly.

I went near her and started healing her so she doesn't die. I need her for Gaara's revival but I can always get a squad member under her.

After taking over Sunagakure, I made her give up One's own life reincarnation and train a set of shinobi so that I can have free lives to spare, in case something goes wrong.

After healing her face, I cleaned the wounds with some cold water and patched the wounds up temporarily.

"Now is no time to die, Chiyo-san. No time at all. Your grandson has made himself a puppet in his craze and only you can deal with him." I said as I backed up.

"I understand-d..." She said as a lot of pain overran her.

Having one's face burnt and still being calm...

Man she is one amazing ninja.

Chiyo once again brought out 10 puppets and started controlling them to attack Sasori from long distance.

Because Sasori's core was injured, his movements were extremely erratic and he wasn't able to control more than 6 puppets.

A drawn out battle between them started.

Who will collapse first?

Which injury is more harmful? Nearly burning away Chiyo's brain or a big scratch on Sasori's heart (his core)?

Sorry if the uploads have been a little off these days, my exams are going on and I can't afford to write too much everyday. It will end on like 8th so I will upload more chaps then.
