Devilish New Recipes

The Tome's instructions were easy to understand, but for a while I had no idea what it meant. Then I realised all I had to do was think about going back to my original appearance and I was set.

And to become Escarche once more, all I had to do was wave his wand around. Speaking of which, even outside of his form I could still use the Glacial Wand for myself as I had absorbed his magical knowledge, enabling me to cast basic Ice Magic and other forms of magic with wand as the focal point.

With it, I was able to wash my body off with Water Magic. Clean up the mess I made in the pot with the same magic, and even managed to find a way to clean stubborn stains off my clothes with the wand.

It was very useful, however as the Glacial Wand mostly specialised in anything cold such as ice and snow, there were very few spells and magic outside of that I could cast. And one of those was Water Magic, due to it being the parent magic of both Ice and Snow magic.

The Glacial Wand, though limited was very useful for cutting costs on money as I could just use it to keep my freezer and fridge running constantly without even having the need to pay. I also had a possibly unlimited free source of water.

Of course, people would get suspicious if I didn't pay, so I am still going to pay for it. But then I immediately started to wonder, how could I use my new powers to earn more money?

With the fact that I could turn into other people, animals and imagined entities. I then came to the conclusion that, I could sell my services to others!

All I had to do was give them something they couldn't resist. Power. Everyone must have had fantasies of having supernatural powers once.

Maybe even becoming a vampire and the like. So, with that in mind I set my goal as to earn money by giving others powers in exchange for money.

There was one problem though, how was I supposed to turn other people into what I wanted them to?

And the answer laid in the Tome...

[To transform others into another form, you must be in close contact with them. You must also have prepared the concoction to materialise their new form.

Depending on the entity you wish to change them into, the recipes differ greatly. Due to modern society not having many magical items to use for ingredients, it can be supplemented by what the Tome provides]

Knowing that it was similar to what I had already done before, I asked the Tome and had it pull up the recipe for creating a vampire.

[Vampire Recipe

Ten millilitres of blood

An entire bat's wing

Six red rose petals

Four grams of sugar

Two cups of water

Half a cup of Vampire ashes

Clove of garlic

Two grams of silver powder

1. Boil two cups of water in a pot. Wait until just steaming.

2. Add in the blood, constantly stirring with a wooden spoon whilst adding in the six rose petals one by one.

3. Let it all simmer with lid closed. And after about three minutes, place in the bat wing and let that simmer under lowered temperature.

4. In a separate bowl, stir in the ashes with the sugar as well as the silver powder. Set it aside for later.

5. Dice the garlic and throw it into the pot with the concoction.

6. Take the mix off the heat and pour it over the dry mix, constantly stirring until homogenous.

7. Let the mix cool off until the vampire ashes form a Vampire Heart]

The recipe was seemingly simple, only that I didn't have a bat wing, blood, Vampire ashes and etc.

Also, I didn't want to be a Vampire. That was a pretty terrible thing to be turned into, so unless it was a Daywalker I won't turn into one.

But, that's not the case for others though. There are definitely people that want to be a Vampire, I can just sell the hearts off to them and they'd be the first Vampire in this world.

Now that I know that a recipe for creating Vampires exist, there definitely was more than this.

And I was right.

Not only that, as it turns it I could also grant people the ability to transform into animals and animal hybrids.

The best of both words really. I could even make dinosaurs come back if I wanted to.

These powers were immensely powerful, I found it strange that I was the one chosen to use it. But I had no complaints.

Out of all the recipes I could make, I decided trying out selling the Vampire, Werewolf and the Incubus/Succubus as they seemed easy enough and required just a pot as the others required a little longer set up.

With that in mind I had Felix return back to his cat form and have him scout outside for any potential client, if he discovers someone who not only is wealthy, but sounds as if they want more in life and or have fantasies they wish to fulfil, he must come back to me but not before getting his name.

As he was my Familiar now, he had no choice but to comply. Once he was gone, I set up the stove once more and had the tome's spirit dispense me the ingredients.

I followed the recipe with textbook perfection, leaving no parts wasted and the results being kept safely in separate containers.

By sunset, I had three Vampire hearts, two sets of Werewolf eyes, one vial of potion that would turn its consumer into an Incubus or a Succubus depending on their gender.

I pray that whoever gets the potion, doesn't find out what it's made of as a part of it does consist of semen.
