Chapter 12: Leveling Up Bagon

As I walk through the clean path that lead to the outskirt of the Pallet Town, I couldn't help but feel kind of excited as I had never gone on a journey albeit such a long journey.

And as I reached the outskirt of the Pallet Town where the path ahead of me that will lead me to the viridian city was full of greenery, long grasses everywhere with pidgey and spearow chirping.

As I look at the time, I was a bit surprised that I came here too early.

"Damn, It seems i came too early." I said, expressing my frustration.

"Ah, since I've already arrived here, how about I just train my bagon for some time. I also have gotten the skill that give 100x more EXP after every fight." I said as I look around for any potential target to test out my new skills.

And I didn't have to look for long as the lush, long grass ahead of me vibrated for a few time before a ratatta jumped out of it.

And upon seeing me, his eyes sparked with a mischief, probably thinking I'm some kind of a new trainer who just got his starter.

"Rat-ratatta!!" He shouted, probably asking for a match.

"Asking for a match I see." I said as I grabbed the pokeball from my pokebelt that I wore today just for this.

As I grabbed my pokeball, I felt excited, excited to fight a pokemon battle that I've only seen in anime.

"Damn, go bagon! Let's win this fast." I said as I throw the pokeball in the air.

As the pokeball reached the air, white light emerged from it before forming a bagon who jumped out of it in excitement to fight a strong opponent only to be disappointed when he landed and saw the ratatta.

"Ba-ba-bagon" He said, giving a side glance to ratatta who growled in anger, feeling humiliated when bagon called him weak.

"What? You don't wanna fight him?" I said as he nod his head.

And as I was about to spread my holy knowledge upon this poor pokemon, the ratatta rushed toward him in surprisingly fast speed.

"Bagon, dodge and then grab him before performing a headbutt to the head." I said as I saw the ratatta rushing toward me with it's teeth glowing indicating that it was about to launch a hyper fang.

"Damn, I didn't know that even a normal ratatta that could be found everywhere can learn hyper fang." I let out my thought as I saw my bagon nodding his head, seeing the rushing ratatta.

As the ratatta came close to bagon, bagon slips to the right, evading his attack but he didn't evade too long but just the right distance where he could grab him and as he grab him, his head glowed a little before he smash his head to ratatta's head, straight up knocking him.

[Ding, you defeated a lv. 4 ratatta, resulting in gaining 74 exp... skill "100 fold Exp" in use.... ]

[Ding, Your bagon gains 2200Exp...]

[Congratulations, your bagon level up]

[Congratulations, your bagon level up]

[Congratulations, your bagon level up]

[Congratulations, your bagon level up]

[Congratulations, your bagon level up]

...

Seeing all these notifications, I got happy as training a dragon typically is too hard but with a hundred fold increase exp skill, my bagon level up to Lv. 15 after just defeating a level 4 ratatta.

"Damn, i'm really thankful I got that hundred fold increase skill." I said, grateful for the skill.

"Ba-ba-bagon!!" Bagon exclaimed in happiness as he felt a huge increase in his strength.

As he clench his small paw feeling the increase in strength, he automatically turn his head toward me and then come running toward me and then hugged me.

"Bagon!!!" He exclaimed and looked at me with new light, probably thinking that I really can fulfill the promise real quickly.

"Haha, you see. That's the reason I told you to fight that weak ratatta." I said, laughing as he got enlighten as he made a new kind of face and then he looked at me and nod his head.

"Ba-ba-bagon!!" He said, clenching his small paw and then pointing at the grassy land ahead of us.

"What? You want to fight more?" I said with a grin as he nod his head.

"Ba-bagon!" He nod his head as I smiled and then head to the grassy, bushed land ahead of us.

For the next hour, we keep fighting all the pokemon nearby us, we probably fight around 5 or 6 pokemons as there wasn't a lot of pokemons nearby as it was still the route 1.

The result of the battles was that he got leveled up to level 20 which made him reach cloud nine as he could feel that he was about to evolve soon.

"Ba-bagon!" He said, grabbing my pant and pointing toward the grassy, bushed land ahead.

"No bagon, this is enough for now. We'll fight pokemons later." I said as he got upset but i didn't care as i just called him back to his pokeball.

After that, I head back to the outskirt of the Pallet Town where I saw daisy patiently sitting on a big rock.

"Yo, you're late." I said, grabbing her attention as she looked at me in surprise and then came toward me.

"Mou! And here I thought I would be the first to arrive here." She said, pouting but I just gave a light smack to her head.

"Don't think of it as a competition or something. Anyway, let' just go now. I've been wanting to go now but because of waiting for you, I had to wait an hour for you so, yeah let' head now." I said.

"Okay~" She said as she walk past me as I followed behind.

After about 3 hours, at 10 AM in the morning, we finally reach the entrance of the viridian city.

"Finally, we reached viridian city." Daisy said as she huff because we only rest for couple time.

"Yeah" I said as we start to walk but as we were about to pass a police booth, we head a shout.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!!" A women's voice came from behind us as we pass the station and upon hearing it, we both stopped and looked behind with a confused face.
