Akako scowled as they battled, "Use shadow claw."

Annihilape, "Ann."

Nagato, "Ember."

Cinderace, "Cin."

Masumoto, "Poison sting."

Beedrill, "Bzzz."

A dark green man, "Beedrill counter that with toxic."

A light red woman, "Get them Sneasel."

A brunette, "Delivers use ice shard."

The battle had been going on for fifteen minutes now and exactly how many Pokemon they had of the same line. That had to be the third Beedrill, Sneasel and Delibird they were battling and Masumoto was close to jumping in and just punching them. He was getting annoyed by the repeat battles with the same Pokemon over and over again. What was this? Some weird battle simulation? Gengar who used illusion to look like Cofagrigus then appeared behind the enemies and using sleep on them.

Akako, "Good job buddy."

Cofagrigus nodded grinning widely which admittedly looked very terrifying, "Ar ar ar ar."

Masumoto, "I'm happy you are on our side."

"Ash."

Nagato, "Who are you?"

Akako looked at the man that approached them, "You look familiar."

The man took off his head, "Or should I say Akako, you are in disguise after all."

Masumoto, "You are... "

Akako, "Akako please, it's good to see you Lance. Or should I call you something else?"

Lance, "I simply go by Aru."

Akako raised an eyebrow but nodded, "Very well Aru - san. We have a few questions. What is happening here? Our unevolved Pokemon were in pain just by being in the vicinity of this area, thankfully the fully evolved Pokemon were unhurt."

Aru rubbed his chin, "I see, from what I have gathered they are experimenting with the evolution energy."

Nagato, "Like mega evolution energy?"

Masumoto, "Don't we need stones for it though and a close relationship with Pokemon?"

Aru, "There is more than mega evolution out there, z - energy and dynamax are another, plus another type from the Paldea region."

Annihilape tilted his head, "Annn?"

Akako, "So they are using Pokemon to figure out how those energies work?"

Aru, "I wish it was something simple as that but sadly no. There have been a string of dead Pokemon bodies that have turned up downstream."

Masumoto paled, "Oh.... "

Akako was fuming, "Name and face."

Aru, "Akako... "

Akako, "No, don't tell me to change my mind on this. I am an Aura Guardian so, name and face."

Aru, "Very well. Come with me."

Aru took out his phone showing Akako the people he suspected was in charge of the entire operation. A Doctor Sebastian who wanted to force young Pokemon through evolution and use a device to control the Pokemon. Akako remembered this incident, Meowth had been in pain because Sebastian wanted to force Meowth to evolve as well.

Nagato, "Calm down Akako, we will deal with them."

Akako, "Yes, we will, you are right. I have a plan for it as well."

Aru raised his eyebrow, "Really?"

Akako, "It's a little crazy here listen..... "

Masumoto, "Are you crazy? That's dangerous."

Nagato, "You can't seriously be considering it."

Akako, "Serious as the ground we are standing on. We will need to destroy their machine in order to stop them."

Aru, "But if I do take you inside after capturing you then you would be taken to the cells. Ah... The Pokemon."

Akako, "Yes, and who says I'm going alone, I got a Dragon Master with me."

Before they could say anything more they heard an angry roar coming from further down the shore. They nodded and rushed to check what was happening and saw the shiny Gyarados from earlier fighting with more Team Rocket.

Aru, "Change of plans. Akako, go with Nagato, head to the base. Masumoto help me with your Beedrill and Breloom."

Nagato, "Be careful."

Masumoto, "Best of luck."

Akako and Nagato headed towards the base while hiding among the foliage from the grunts who were interested in the red Gyarados. Riko growled lowly when one of the grunts noticed them and chose to battle them instead of heading to the lake. Nagato pushed Akako to head to the base while he and his Pokemon dealt with the grunts. Akako nodded after telling Cofagrigus to give Nagato a helping hand while she, Riko and Annihilape made their way to the base.

Akako hid behind a pillar, {Let's go.}

Riko, {Wait Meema, there's a camera.}

Annihilape, "Annihilape, ann, hilape, ann."

Lucario, {Alright be careful.}

Annihilape took off his disguise and stomped towards the building in a rage and punched the wall with the camera. Akako sweat dropped, that worked too, she supposed and entered the base despite the alarm. They looked around and noticed there wasn't camera in the room and there was a air vent over the door. Riko nodded and helped her up before climbing in, buy Annihilape was large and grunted in annoyance. Akako calmed him down and returned him, she realized that was probably the second time she returned him to his pokeball the whole week.

Riko, -This way Meema.-

Akako, "Coming."

Yuri, "Akako?"

Akako, "Yuri? I see you got the same idea."

Yuri, "You won't believe what we found. These jerks are killing Pokemon."

Akako, "I know, we met Lance and he gave us a heads up too."

Yuri, "We have to stop them."

Akako, "We will, now come on, let's find the main computer. Lance let me burrow his Rotom."

Rotom, -Hello.-

Casey gasped on seeing the yellow and black stripped case, "Oh Mew, you are perfection."

Riko chuckled, -And she is going to help us stop this fools.-

Casey nodded and Riko got their attention and pointed at the room in front of them. It was the control room and there were a few grunts around the room. It looks like they were focusing on getting the red Gyarados. Yuri took out her Beedrill and quietly asked him to use poison on the grunts knocking them out but not killing them. They needed them alive to give them punishment later on and Beedrill nodded in agreement as he entered the room quietly. Beedrill hung upside down as he released thin almost unnoticeable poison needles on the unsuspecting grunts.

"I feel strange."

"Ugh! I feel sick."

"What's going on?"

"I don't know! Why are you asking me?"

"I knew messing around with unexplained power would back fire on us."

"Shut up and focus.... URK!"

Yuri got down after the last person fainted, "Great job buddy."

Beedrill buzzed proudly, "Bzzz."

Akako, "Lance is battling Tyson the Hunter while Brock is dealing with Sebastian. Guess Brock was pissed off by the man."

Yuri, "He was, that disgusting reprobate has no right to call himself a Doctor."

Akako, "Indeed, let's tie them up and call Officer Jenny and the Rangers. We will need their help to relocate the Pokemon. One look and I can tell that not all of them are from Jhoto."

Yuri, "Those are Altaria, Swablu, is that a Noibat? Pelipper? Mimikyuu? Rowlett? Foongus? Morpeko? They have eggs too ... "

Yuri's voice tapered off seeing so many different Pokemon from different regions and then realized why she didn't recognize some of the dead bodies. She felt vile rise up and threw up on the floor, Beedrill buzzed by her side asking if she was alright. Riko said she would be okay but right now they had to focus and Yuri nodded in agreement. Akako was standing biting her lip till it bled making Annihilape leave his pokeball to make her stop hurting herself.

Akako, "I'm fine. Looks like Lance has dealt with his problem. Masumoto did a good job supporting him."

Yuri, "Yeah, he is growing up and becoming strong."

Akako, "Tetsuya and Nagato teamed up as well and working together to take them down. Ah... It's that grimalkin heading this way."

Yuri growled, "Zanna."

Zanna, "Oh my, oh my. If it isn't the Princess and her little whore."

Akako, "Do you want to die bitch?"

Yuri, "Let's just kill her."

Akako, "But if she dies she will escape her punishment."

Riko, -Torture her?-

Akako, "Yes."

Zanna twitched, "You little witches. Come my lovely Gourgeist and Magcargo."

Yuri, "Dewgong, Beedrill, prepare for battle."

Akako, "Tyrantrum, Annihilape, prepare to fight."

Riko, -Come Togetic. Join me in battle.-

Zanna, "Oh an aura user. What fun! Oooh and a shiny Pokemon to boot."

Riko, -This time you won't get away easily.-

Zanna, "We'll see."

Akako, "Stomp Tyrantrum."

Tyrantrum raised his leg and stomped hard on the ground making Gourgeist fly while Magcargo growled. Yuri and her Pokemon tackled with Gourgeist while Riko and Togetic fought with Zanna and her Morpeko. Zanna eyed the Pokemon with greed, they were very powerful, if she could capture them, then she would be the strongest executive. Riko narrowed his eyes noticing how she was looking at his friends.

Akako, "Distract her Pokemon."

Annihilape, "ANN!"

Zanna took out her gun, "My my, how dangerous."

Akako took out her staff, "That's rich coming from you."

Yuri, "Dewgong ice beam."

Zanna shrieked as she slipped, "What the fuck???? You little bitch."

Annihilape tackled her while Tyrantrum buried the Magcargo under rocks using rock slide and rock tomb. It was a smart way to cool down the over heated Pokemon who was now knocked out because of a swift kick. Akako checked his feet, it didn't matter how old Tyrantrum grew. Tyrantrum would always be her baby and heaven help anyone who tried to say otherwise. Zanna was cursing the ghost Pokemon who tightened his hold on her, he was not amused by the threats against his trainer.

Yuri, "Beedrill, put her to sleep, it's fine if she feels sick."

Zanna, "You! What does that mean?"

Yuri smiled tilting her head, "If you can hurt Pokemon, I'm sure you can handle a little pain."

Zanna, "Curse you! CURSE YOU! I... "

Zanna was out cold. Akako and Yuri eyed her with anger then had Meganium tie her up using vine whip. Aru or rather Lance met up with them seeing the executive among the grunts they caught. Lance nodded at them and advised them to give a statement and to not change from their personas till everything was done and over. They agreed and joined the rest of the group giving their part of the statements, writing down reports.

Akako, "Lance, anything from the Rangers?"

Lance, "They will be here soon. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it."

Masumoto, "You are welcome. We should battle one day."

Lance smirked, "Of course."

They left with Lance taking charge of the situation and met up with their Pokemon who were very relieved to see them. Thankfully Mahogany town was close by and they could not wait to get there as fast as possible. They changed back to their normal identities and got back to traveling again. Now, that Team Rocket was dealt with the lake was a very lovely area to camp by.

Brock looked at the sky, "Camping sounds good. I am tired mentally and physically."

Max, "Me too."

Ash nodded, "Yeah, how about a barbeque by the lake. It was not us who got involved with Team Rocket after all."

Phanphy, "Phannnn."

Abra, -Sounds fun.-

Eevee, "Vui."

Absol was sitting beside Ash, "Sol."

Casey sat leaning on Meganium, "I am just happy we got a break."

Gou, "Are you okay?"

Casey, "I am not, not really but I will be. This was way too much and way too early. I am surprised, I didn't break down back there."

Ash breath in and out, "I know, what you mean. It's not even that long since what happened with Lugia."

Gou, "Hopefully, we will get a break after our bad luck so far."

Brock muttered while setting up the pantry, "I agree. We need a nice long break after this."

Max decided to try lighten the mood, "The shiny Gyarados chose to go with Lance earlier."

Ash perked up, "Really?"

Max nodded, "Yeah, Gyarados was very impressed by how Lance handled his Dragon Pokemon. Gyarados even took out some of the grunts who tried to get a cheap shot in."

Gou, "I want to see the shiny Gyarados again."

Brock, "I have not seen a shiny Gyarados yet though I have seen shiny Magikarp before."

Casey, "Ooh! Oooh! Maybe we can see them at the Silver conference."
