'The outside world is scary!'

Whit the battle over Sandslash nodded toward Lucario and ran worriedly toward the Sandshrew and the egg and inspected them worriedly, from one side to the other especially the egg to see if it was cracked anywhere.

Altair began to approach the little fellows who were in their own world followed behind by Lucario.

''I don't want to take it up on your family time but if I know your species of pokemon, you guys normally live in deserts or close to them no?''

Altair inquired in which the Sandslash who didn't feel any malice from the human responded with a sad nod.

Altair could figure out roughly what happened. But the question is how did they end up here in this space ? Let's not even talk it up since the rift recorded was basically in the middle of a forest. So there was one obvious assumption which was that there were multiple entrances to this space.

But again if no other human has found these rifts it means that they are well hidden. But this doesn't take the danger off of it nonetheless, no one would feel secure if you know that in your house there might be a random stray hole that could be used to rob you. And yet you know about it and can't do anything about it since you don't know where it is or how to close it.

Yet again knowing where the rift leading to the outside is easy, just ask for the Sandslash to lead the way and it probably would show the way, Altair shook these thoughts off of his head and resumed his challenge now.

Altair began to smile kindly and slowly stretched a hand toward Sandslash and Sandshrew who were watching his movements closely, then Altair spoke with a soft tone to them.

'' How about joining my village? There is plenty of food and having you both would help a lot. No need to worry the village is actually safe.''

Sandslash glared at Altair but then looked at herself and her condition wasn't good at the moment besides her mate was tired of walking without end and took a big toll on him having to flee from their habitat to finding a weird stone and being transported to this unknown place, to then be attacked by a pack of zubats the moment they arrived. Even she was tired besides she doesn't know the dangers ahead so maybe it would be better to accept his offer.

There was silence and the silence was something that made the poor inexperienced Altair doubt his judgment and he began to panic inside his mind but then his thoughts just calmed down. Altair was being truthful and didn't lie so it is okay if push comes to shove he might as well just catch some other pokemon. He was a soft person for the most part and he preferred to have the consent of the other party. Well, the case of the Yungoos was another story. But Yungoos was a good seed in the middle of the rest so it had to be done. He knows he is greedy so as long as he can he will catch the rare. But again this was a Blue aptitude Sandslash although it was a rare one it isn't to the point of forcing them, and the biggest part is that Sandslash is already quite grown up and knows what she wants so if he catches them by force she will resent him for a long long time.

So for Altair that was the best course of action. He needed Sandslash for the village and if she didn't accept and he bought her by force he wouldn't feel at ease to leave her alone, since she might just attack someone.

But to his delight, Sandslash began to walk slowly toward him and nodded.

'' Sand Sand~~ Sandslash~~'' She began to attempt to speak to Altair on and on but alas Altair doesn't know what she even means he just knows that she is happy by reading her Aura.

Sandslash kept her one sided conversation until Lucario responded to her. Altair decided to tag both pokemon with pokeballs, since he had a lot of them that he bought in these days in the 'BOOK SHOP' as he called it, and although he had a stroke of rotten luck and only got Green grade items that were the lowest he just insisted and bought all pokeballs that was a regular thing that showed up on the shop. He had no money so he used the reserve funds he had. He now could be categorized as a Pokeball rich man since he had a lot of pokeballs and a poor man that was probably poorer than his subordinates in the village.

But he had plans for all these pokeballs and it wasn't a waste.

And after both Sandslash and Sandshrew were captured he released them and feed them with the food he had bought.

In the period of starting lunchtime to the end of it, Lucario and Sandslash became close friends. Sandslash was a talkative one and Lucario although Timid was a curious one so they hit it off pretty quickly and sometimes Lucario had stars in her eyes with what Sandslash told her.

At the end of the lunch, Altair decided to ask for the location of the space rift. He decided to confirm something that would prove to be important later on. Sandslash just nodded and signed him to follow her. Sandshrew was holding the egg and was quite slow so Altair suggested to hold the egg in which he was immediately rejected.

Sandshrew didn't feel comfortable enough to hand his egg yet. But what he received was a bonk and a glare from his wife a couple of words and bam Sandshrew reluctantly gave the egg while looking at his wife from time to time.

Altair felt pity for the dude but alas if he doesn't want to sleep on the couch he has to listen.

Altair held the egg and their march speed increased until they arrived at an entrance about 30 minutes from the place where they met. The entrance was quite narrow but enough for them to fit in, after what a claustrophobic would feel like an eternity they arrived at an open space lit up with beautiful crystals that lighted up space. Altair hasn't seen such a beautiful place before, after all the beautiful things in the world most of the time are the nature made ones. And this could be one in his opinion. Looking at these crystals he wondered if they were something that could be used for evolution but after using the 'Book' the answer was no.

Uknown Crystal

Price: 50 Pokecoins

Description: A naturally created crystal that emits light and lights up certain regions. It is naturally beautiful. No effect on Pokemon.

Altair was disappointed but he decided not to sell them, he wants to preserve this beautiful spot. And besides, there weren't many of them. They were scattered here and there to better light up space, making them look like stars in the night sky.

But he took his attention off of them quickly since he saw what seemed like a small gate. He approached it and he had decided to touch the thing with the 'Book'.

Space Gate

Description: A Gate that has been created for who knows how long. Can bring people to a set location.

Altair didn't know whether to cry or laugh at this information. But he decided to touch the rift. And to no surprise, he got sucked inside followed by the rest of the party.

The moment he came back to his senses he was already in another place but the contrast is the lack of light in this place. So he decided to go back pick a Crystal to light up his surroundings. He bought back the little Sandslash and Lucario since both Lucario and Sandslash would have the biggest chance to dig a crystal.

One Lucario knew rock smash and Sandslash was a ground type so it might do it. To no surprise, Lucario proved to be as useful as ever and used rock smash around the crystal to extract it.

Back on the other side of the space gate with light. Altair kept being led by Sandslash who just sniffed around and walked without any worries. Altair felt quite uneasy in this cave but kept following the little mouse. After a lot of turns, they arrived in front of a crack where Sandslash and her partner entered this cave. Without any worries, they exited the crack and they were met by a vast green area with a lake surrounded by desert. This was a big Oasis.

They explored a little bit and were met by a couple of small and cute orange hermit looking crabs with big pincers on both sides, some had a chunk of gray rock serving as shell and others were there with everything to see. This pokemon is cute and Altair knew this pokemon as the knowledgeable man he was. This pokemon was Dweeble. This crab like pokemon is cute in itself but to Altair's dismay, the ones playing around were raging from Level 10 to Level 30 with the ones without shells being the weak ones. Most of them had Green Potential while the rest were Blue and there was one with Purple. But the issue is if they are playing without a care in the world means that the Leader should be nearby.

So Altair who was quite worried began to look side to side closely trying to inspect everything until he saw an ordinary-looking block of sediment with some different layers. This block was obviously misplaced compared to the outside so he inspected it and to no surprise that thing was a pokemon.

Pokemon Name: Crustle

Sex: Female

Level: 37

Nature: Relaxed

Ability: Sturdy

Friendship: 0

Potential: Blue

Aptitude: 1,5 ★

Moves: Fury Cutter, Sand Attack, Withdraw, Withdraw, Bug Bite, Flail, Slash, Rock Slide, Stealth Rock, Rock Blast.

Altair froze looking at this. There is no way he will win against that. And the Purple Potential was off limits. But again the moment he comes to the 'original' world he is met with this, call it bad luck or good since Crustles were pokemon who didn't attack causally.

But Altair has seen enough of the outside and decided to retreat to his world but the moment he wanted to go back he heard an eagle like sound and by instinct, he looked above and he saw 2 blue avian bodied pokemon following a large one with dark red feathers looking quite imposing.

Altair decided to inspect it and his mouth opened round shaped with surprise.

And in his mind, only one thing lingered.

'The outside world is scary!'
