Chapter 18 : Moving towards Saffron city

( Gary POV )

I knew reaching is a short distance but we weren't fully trained for our upcoming battle .

I had to train all my pokemons .

I asked Wartortle for increasing it's defenses whereas asked Scyther to increase it's attack power .

For Krabby I asked him to increase it's power of it's arms and it's speed .

For pikachu it was the usual battle .

I started training for Gengar as he will be my pokemon for next battle .

I asked him to continuously use shadow ball so the shadow ball used by him can become strong and can even attack with more than one ball at the same time .

For me the time for training was boring .

I closed my eyes and remembered attack style of Sabrina from my memories of anime .

She will be a tough battle if you don't have a ghost type of pokemon .

As I was thinking about the battle I didn't knew the same battle happened in Saffron city

Ash remembers his whole time on Saffron gym

/Flash back/

A man runs up behind Ash as he was entering the Gym and suggests that they avoid the Gym and runs off. Ash ignores the warning and heads inside, intent on winning the Marsh Badge. They go inside, finding it empty at first. They run into a door and look inside, finding several people in the room practicing telekinesis. A man confronts them and Ash asks for a match against Sabrina. When Misty asks what the people in the room were doing, he demonstrates his telekinetic abilities by bending a spoon. Ash is unimpressed and bends the spoon with his hands, boasting that his method is better, annoying Brock and Misty. The man leads them to the arena and bows down in front of a gate, asking Sabrina to come out. The little girl appears, her eyes glowing red, using telekinetic force to send the man running. Ash asks for his official match from Sabrina and the little girl agrees on one condition: if he loses, he and his friends must play with her. Unaware of the young girl's intentions, and despite Misty's concern, Ash agrees. The gate opens and the little girl is revealed to be sitting on the real Sabrina's lap. The doors close, sealing them in.

After the battle Ash lost and was forced to play game with the girl . The same man as the one he met outside the gym teleports him out

/Flashback end /

Ash was very sad of his loss and was getting a continuous advise from the man who saved him to leave the city . But Ash begs the man for a way to defeat Sabrina . The man tells him to find a ghost pokemon and he moved towards Lavender town with Brock and Misty

(Gary POV)

We finished training , seeing my stressed expression Girls became worried and kidnapped me to the tent and then we had a satisfying intense night .

//Next Day//

After that good night and comforting of girls I became high spirited and remembered 'I am Gary the most arrogant , isn't she a gym leader I will show her ' and I smirked in the direction of Saffron city .

We reached Saffron city and straightforwardly went towards the gym .

When I saw the gym I didn't have a reaction . With my arrogant self I was about to enter the gym . When I was suddenly stopped by a man who I knew was Sabrina's father .

He said " Oy kid leave this place is very dangerous "

I smirked at him and said " That's why I am here "

He was shocked " What "

Hey old man never knew the saying ' Only do things considered impossible because in that you will have a sense of accomplishment ' "

After saying that I entered the gym followed by girls and leaving the stunned man there .

I observed many people in rooms practicing telekinesis .

Eva asked me " Gary what are those people doing "

A kid suddenly appeared and answered Eva question by explaining about telekinesis and showing a spoon bending just by his will power .

All girls were surprised by it I just shook my head and said " Man do you know just for bending a spoon you got sweaty and are venerable ." Then I took a spoon in my hand a twisted it

"See it doesn't matter the process it matters the result where I am in peak condition and you "

Hearing me the kid was stunned and girls were impressed .

"Don't show off , kid " I smirked and asked him to lead to gym leader .
