For those who might not know, I conducted a poll yesterday with the idea of rewriting the Pokémon series—my perfectionist nature is always nudging me about what I could have done better. A huge thank you to everyone who said they loved the previous version. I'm committed to making sure you find this version even better.

I hope the changes, especially early on, give you all a glimpse of how differently this story will play out compared to the original.
What to Expect in the New Version:
Austin will be a much smarter protagonist than in Version 1.
Expanded lore and worldbuilding.
A more mature tone. While Version 1 was dark, this version matures in how it handles the actions and consequences for the characters, the world, and everything in between.
Practical concerns for Austin regarding money, budgets, and food.
Austin will catch different Pokémon than in Version 1. For example, Austin catches an Eevee. (Which Pokemon do you want Austin to catch in Kanto?)
The plot and fights will feature more strategy, utilizing items and moves.
Other characters like Yellow, Brock, Misty, Bill, Oak, Cynthia, etc., will have different roles and story arcs.
Though Versions 1 and 2 are completely different stories, the premise remains the same: A Pokémon fan wakes up in Ash's body, but this world is very, very different.
