I'm caught up with Translations. First of all the beginning really sucked. I disliked how the scenarios were written and how lazy the writing was. But after 40 chapters it does become slightly better, at least to the point I'm hooked. I am not entirely invested into this Novel yet. 60 chapters is too short to judge a story like this since like I've said the beginning was terrible. But hey! I've read worst exorcist novels on here yet have 300 chapters at the moment. This deserves more attention at least..! What are your guy's thoughts on this one?
Wow, this book is a hidden jem I really hope it gets picked to be translated. The basic plot is just a modern guy gets a system that allows him to free lost spirits that can't pass over and it also helps him in cultivating different powers. There is no harem or anything sexual that the misleading title may imply 😂
The story is good until got to the point where Nationalism intensifies. China this , China that, getting ghost to watch Anti-Japan movie, His chicken learning language by watching Anti-Japanese movie. Hate foreign ghost. As long as it's not Han Ghost or Chinese Ghost they would be looked down, getting eaten by his cat or destroyed. I'm stop reading the raw when Evil Spirit that got his power from Mass Burial from Japanese massacre asked the MC to send her to Japan for revenge. MC is hypocrite , we don't want ghost to kill or revenge but sometimes he allowed them to do so to fulfill the task given by the system. He is combination of coward and bravery, he stay away from trouble with thousand of reason but he somehow brave enough to enter Dangerous Sites. Many twist in the novel, Some ghost are miserable that you would sympathized with them but in the end when things should go for good ending end up into twisted situation and make us hate on how human savagery , treachery , greed , lust and etc. There many things I want to write but you guys could discover it your self.
I read the raw material. Summing up decent history does not go to the point of being excellent it gives pro expense, luckily the aor did not extend it too many, so its quality is not horrible. The problem that bothered me most was the dose of basic racism, the protagonist went to Africa and when he saw women in situations of slavery he was only angry when he saw that two of her were Chinese and when he spoke to the ghosts present he said he did not feel sorry for a Chinese woman because she should have helped the needy people in her nation instead of taking chances in Africa. In other words, a disgusting racism that is impregnated in the stories that come out of China, where anyone from another country does not deserve to be valued and "Greater China" will one day unite all nations.
