CHAPTER 15 KALPAVRIKSHA THE WISH FULFILLING TREE

Om took a bottle of water from his inventory, opened its cap. But as he was about to drink water from it. A strong blow of wind came and the bottle fell. The water from the bottle was spread over the diamond like rock. Om sat down and was about to pick the bottle back. His gaze fell on the water. In the water, It supposed to be the reflexion of his face on the water, yet he saw a man with multiple head and hands in the water.

The reflexion was blurry. Om found it odd, "it supposed to my reflexion, yet it is clear that even in this blurry reflexion I can tell this is someone else. It may be possible with this new abilities even my soul is affected. First, let's find out what this tree is all about."

He didn't stand up. As he was, he raised his head. Looking at the tree, he activated his skill 'divine eyes'.

In the earliest account of the Samudra Manthana, or the churning of the cosmic ocean. Kalpavriksha emerged from the primal waters during the ocean churning process.)

"Kalpavriksha is a wish fulfilling tree. Hmm. Its age is infinite. Its durability is infinite. What its age and durability are infinite? Are you kidding me? If its age is infinite, does that means that it is an immortal tree. Is it somehow related to the Amrita that Soul was talking about? According to Soul, Amrita-the nectar of immortality can make anyone an immortal. This divine tree is also immortal. Both seems to be somehow connected to each other. I will talk to Soul after I return to earth. But the most interesting thing is that its durability is also infinite, which means I can spam its wish granting abilities and can fulfil my every wish."

Om face glowed in bright. His face turned red. His body was shaking due to excitement. In excitement, he loudly shouted, "send me back to my world, to earth. Please." he waited for something to happen, but nothing happened. He was confused. All excitement he had was gone.

"Why is nothing happening? It is supposed to be a wish granting tree, but it is not granting me my wish. I may have missed something." Om murmured.

He again activated his skill 'divine eyes'. He took a closer look at its description.

"What? It picks its owner. But how?" Om lost his hope of returning to earth, he fell down lying on his back over the diamond like massive rock. He looked at the sky. There was nothing. Everything was white. He continuously looked at empty white sky and thought," I'm an idiot. If all dreams become reality, then what are dreams for."

He did a cool flick and stood up. He swung his right from right to left horizontally. And the tree with its diamond like rock vanished. Actually, the tree was not vanished, but was transferred to Om's inventory.

Om had a small but happily smile on his face, he was happy, "since I actually own this divine treasure now. I will somehow find all answer to become its true owner."

After the tree vanished, the white Environment started to crumble and cracked. From the cracks, water started to pour. But this time Om was prepared for this. He was ready to swim. Similar to how he came to this white world, he was thrown out from the big glowing pillar of light. He returned to the depth of the pond. Slowly, the pillar shrunk and disappeared. Om swam back to the surface.

Later, on the surface of the pond. His head was out of the water and his body below the neck was still inside. He found out that he was surrounded by Orcs, Ogres, Goblins, and elves. (it was not the group that was led by the elf princess.) the pond was massive, still it was surrounded by them. Om's group was missing.

"So, they were defeated, huh. I didn't expect much from them. They were strong, but their true potential lies in their ability to know about herbs and vegetations", Om was thinking about his group of undead that were now missing.
