Chapter 2: Whos the Author?

The more the view outside the carriage signales me that our arrival in the Emperial palace was drawing nearer and nearer the more i felt uncomfortable. I fidget on my seat besides Loina. I insist to take her with me as my personal maid.

"Are you still unwell mylady?" She asks worriedly.

"Im just feeling uncomfortable" i said my true thoughts.

I know she understand my behaviour now after i told her about my nightmares. I did not lie. My horrible death keeps haunting me everynight. She is a witness of how she wakes me up from my terrible nightmare. How she hugged and comfort me everytime my body trembles in fear.

She would always say that it was just a dream but i know it happened before so theres no guarantee that it wont happen again.

"You dont have to worry.. I Loina had already submitted my life and loyalty to you mylady and i will protect you no matter what it costs" she said bravely as she put her hand in her chest.

I chuckled at her actions. She looks like my little brother who swear to protect me.

Atleast i have her in this lifetime.

"Thankyou i feel better" i said honestly.

"Im glad that i cheered up my mylday" she said smiling innocently.

She is really like my little brother

(A/N : it was her little brother from her previous life. Remeinder that she has two little cute brothers.)

The carriage suddenly stops and the door flung open. The butler was offering his hand and i accepted it.

He was the loyal aide and butler of the crown prince. Armando. He was wearing round glasses just like Harry Potter from the movie i watched. It suits him. He has long green hair tied neatly.

If he will become an actor i would be one of his fans.

"Are you done staring at him?"

I was taken aback from the sudden voice. I knew that voice. I felt shiver down my spine.He is not suppose to be here. But i guess the emperor forced him again.

"I greet the little sun of the Empire the blessing and power be upon the Rowe Empire" I said as i greet him. He flinched his eyebrows as if it was not the thing that he is expecting to happen. If it would be my pastself i would be clining to him now and wont greet him. But i wont dare. Never.

I thought im not afraid to die again but the thought of Loina crying for me and being left behind scares the hell out of me.

I glance at him. He was looking at me in an annoyed face. His pitch black hair was matched by the pair if red eyes as if he was staring at a lake of blood. The mole like dot under his left eyes add more sexiness in his appearance. He is look like a tyrant prince from the fantasy movies ive watched.

"lets go your highness I will accompany you in your room" Armando breaks the silence and awkwardness. I nod and followed him and beside me was Loina.

"hah!" I let out a deep sigh as i plop down at mybed.

Im going to encounter the saintess and the crownprince more often now. It will just make more room for misunderstandings.

But theres nothing i can do about it. So i just have to ignore them.

And i just suddenly remembered the day before i came back here. It was maybe somewaht connected to why i am here now. It was a book. A novel.

My workmate suggested and let me borrow her book and to my surprised.

The book contains information from my past life.

No i mean.

It was a romance novel where i was the Villainess in the story. The crown prince was the Villain and the heroine was the saintess. And the male lead was the little Duke my brother.

The story was the exact story happened in my past life so i was really surprised. Ive planned to meet the author who was using a pet name but it didnt happened for when i woke up i was already here.

Who might be the author of that book. That curious the hell out of me. That person must be the one to be blamed.

Ive bullied and hurt the heroine because of my jealosy. He was always with the crown prince and it happened that when i became the empress for two years that i will be executed.

For commiting a murder attempt.

And after that i did not know what happened. But according to the book the crown prince got berserk. He chased for the saintess but the little duke is the one that she loves.

In the end the the saintess and my brother live happily ever after while the crown prince became the emperor who ruled the country without an empress or any concubines who will give birth to an heir.

And the Villainess was already out of the story because she died. It was a tragic end for me. And a sad ending for the crown prince.

But i dont have anything to do with them since i dont have any plans to be entangled with them again.

I just want to rest for now. The gentle touch of Loina makes me drowsy and that constant nightmare will disturb my profane sleep again. I just want to close my eyes. Forget about those frightful moments of my life.

(A/N: our female protagonist were having nightmare everynight about her death. It was a traumatic event in her life even though she says that she accepted it without fear. The flesh that was slowly burnt by the fire. The pain physicaly and emotionaly.)
