For the Glory

Kyle POV

My opponent entered the arena, and stepped up. I didn't listen to the introduction, as I sensed a strange fluctuation. The referee waved his hand, and the match began. I took up a defensive stance with my shortswords, while the man bore down at me, swinging his fists. I dodged a few, before kicking up dust, blocking his vision for a split second. I sheathed and unsheathed my sword, activating quick draw, slicing part of his leg. He had enough reflexes to dodge the blow. I had vastly underestimated my opponent, and from his expression, he had underestimated me as well. "Not bad." We exchanged another round blows, before I used shadowstep, teleporting behind him. When I vanished, he immediately reacted by spinning around and taking up an X- guard. He slid back from the force of the blow, and I summoned void spears, activating void barrier. He punched one of the void spears, taking miniscule damage, but avoiding my trap, only to step into another one, which activated a field of spikes. He tried to break his way out, only to be stalled by a bunch of void spears. He dodged them all, using the forced movements to get out of the spike field. "Not bad, brat." "Heh. Not bad yourself, old man." I replied. He snorted, then charged at me, sending glowing fist images at me. I dodged them, but it kicked up a dust storm around me, and I went into the void realm, to avoid a potential ambush. My predictions were half right, as he appeared within the storm, looking for me, but he sent a bunch of fist images to clear the area, causing yet another sandstorm. I was forced out of my state, and appeared behind him, hacking downwards with manifested void swords. He spun around and sent a punch towards me, but I void walked behind him again sent several slashes at him, constantly moving around him. Several wounds appeared around him, but I realized something was wrong when he smirked. He let out a howl, the shockwaves sending me flying into a wall. I flew up into the air and smirked.'"Time to end this, old man." He smirked as well. "Agreed." I condensed a large void sword, cleaving it downwards. He projected a huge fist image, bigger than my sword, and our attacks clashed, sending a shockwave throughout the arena. My sword began to crack, and then it shattered.

Old man POV

I smirked as I watched my fist projection break through his final attack. Victory was mine. Suddenly, a magic circle activated behind me, and a hail of purple bullets slammed into my unprotected body. The last thing I saw was the brat smirking.

Kyle POV

After the defeat of the old man, I teleported to where Liliana was, and was caught off guard when she kissed me. I wrapped my arms around her, and hugged her, and she did the same. She let go, her face red, and looked at me. "C-congratulations…" she looked away, and I looked away as well. "... what was that anyway?" "..." she looked at me blankly, like she couldn't believe what I had just said. "Are you serious Kyle!!!" "Oooohhhhh… could it be that you like me?" She looked away again, blushing. "Y-y-you finally figured that out? Stop treating me as a little sister then… also, do you like me?" Her question threw me into inner turmoil. I couldn't return my feelings to her, but I didn't want to offend her. "Yeah…" she smiled after hearing my response, and hugged me. I sighed, but hugged back.

Natasha POV

I watched as Kyle told Liliana that he liked her, and jealousy burned in me. How come he never told me that? Even a simple "I like you" would brighten my day, yet he never told me that. I walked away, but was blocked by Elena. "What did he say to Liliana?" "He told her he loved her…" "Oh! Good!" "Huh? What? Knowing him, he probably doesn't like her that way, but doesn't want to offend her." "Sigh… I'm an idiot…" We walked back to our house, and I went to my bed, and fell asleep.

Kyle POV

Liliana was still hugging me, and I coughed. "Sooooo… are you gonna let go or what?" She shook her head, and I sighed, then sat down, with her still clinging to me. "Don't you feel like… the stars represent us? See? That red one is you, and that blue one is me…" "Huh? What are you talking about? It's in the afternoon… what stars?" I laid down, when a beam of energy hit me. I appeared in a red desert, and several statues, with glowing gems in their eye sockets stood in front of me. The first statue spoke. "The demon child is here." "Hmmm… what shall we do?" "The demon child will be a calamity for this world. I think we should kill him." "Yet he has done no wrong yet… how about we wait and see what his course of action will be?" "Very well. Take this as consolation, demon child. We will gift you this reforged body, as well as a piece of information." "Your mother has been captured by a clan somewhere in this universe." A beam of light hit me, and my body started glowing. My body felt as if it was being dipped into a bucket of lava, and I tried to scream, but my voice went hoarse. The statues muttered among them, as if disappointed by me somehow. I was kicked out of the space to find Liliana looking around for me. She turned in my direction, and yelled out "Kyle!" and tackled me to the ground. "Where were you? You disappeared for 6 minutes! I was so worried!" "Yeah… I'm okay, don't worry about me… more importantly, can you please get off of me?" Liliana smirked, and licked me on the cheek. "I'm your girlfriend, remember? I'm using my privileges…" "..." I had nothing to say, and I could only lay there, while Liliana laid on top of me.

Elena POV

I woke up to the sound of a door opening, and I got up, and went downstairs. At the entrance, I saw Kyle carrying Liliana back to her bed. I rubbed my eyes, and mumbled "Hello Kyle…" "Huh? Oh hey Elena… she fell asleep on me…" "It's not fair, hmph." I mumbled again, and Kyle jerked his head up. "What's that supposed to mean?" "I said it's not fair goddammit…" "Like I said before: What's that supposed to mean? Eh… I'll put her to bed, and then I'll be back…" "Okay." I sat on the couch for a few minutes, before Kyle came back down. He sat down next to me, and I rested my head on his shoulder. He smiled at me sadly, then looked back up to the stars. "Someday, I'll have to find my mom… that means I'll have to leave you, to a realm far beyond your reach…" tears streamed down my face as I listened to him, when a warm hand brushed my hair away and caressed my face. "I'll come back, I promise." "But-but," my voice broke, but I continued. "How long will it be?" he sighed, and said "I don't know. Perhaps 1000 years…" "Then, then, I'll enjoy the time we have left together, before you go…" "Actually, I have a way to bring you with me, along with the others, but it'll be dangerous. You sure you want to come?¨ I didn't hesitate for a second, and replied "Yes…" "Alright… then I'll bring the other two along as well." "Hmph." I turned my head away, pouting. "Huh?!? What's wrong, Elena?" "Hmph." I walked away in a huff, leaving Kyle behind, with a gaping mouth. I closed the door, leaning against it looking upwards, and blushed. "That idiot."

Kyle POV

I knocked on Elena's door, and she opened it. "Kyle!?! Come on in!" I came inside, and sat down. Elena sat down beside me, and leaned her head on my shoulder. "Elena." "Hmmm?" "Just so you know, I think you girls should stay. It's too dangerous." She looked up at me, and smiled. "Thank you for worrying about me, Kyle, but I just want to spend time with you, even if that means being in danger.¨ She kissed me, and I hugged her tighter. When she pulled back, I looked down at her. "I don't want to lose you." She hugged me, and whispered "I know, but I can't bear to be apart from you. I'll do whatever it takes to be by your side." I leaned down and kissed her. Her eyes widened, before closing. After I pulled back, she smiled at me, and whispered "I'll go with you, no matter what." I smiled back, when we were interrupted by a knock on the door. Liliana stood there when I opened the door, emitting a dangerous aura. "What did you do Kyle?" "..." I stood there, with cold sweat sliding down my neck, as she hugged onto my arm. The sensation of sharp fingernails pricking my neck chilled me, and I started sweating even more. "N-n-nothing!" "Oh really?" she smirked, before pushing her fingernails a little bit deeper, causing blood to drip from my neck. After a few seconds of silence, Elena coughed. "You two know I'm here right?" Liliana turned towards her while digging her fingernails deeper into my neck. I whimpered "Now's not a good time, Elena." "Hmph." Liliana glared at Elena, before dragging me into her room, and kissed me. "Now, let me give you a massage, Kyle." I laid there, dazed, and she rolled me onto my back. Her fingernails elongated, and ripped my shirt into shreds, and then laid on top of me. The sensation of her skin on mine was a soft one, and I blushed, but was too dazed to struggle. She started kneading my back, and I tried to struggle, but she whispered "Don't struggle! Just fall asleep…" I felt tired after she said this, and slowly drifted into sleep.

Liliana POV

After I put Kyle to sleep, I hugged him to my chest. He slept soundly, and I smiled down at him, before kissing him. He mumbled something in his sleep, and rolled over. Immediately realizing the position we were in, my face turned red, before I laid on top of him. His eyes fluttered open, and he looked up, which caused his face to turn red as well. "L-L-Liliana?!?" I looked down at him, and smirked, causing him to try and push me off. I dug my fingernails into his neck, and he stopped. I saw a bead of sweat drip down his neck, and I licked it off, causing his face to redden even more. "L-L-Liliana, can you get off of me, please?" I licked his cheek, and as he lay there helplessly, I kissed him. "Only if you let me take a bath with you." "F-fine…" "Great!" I skipped away happily, using my magic to fill up the bath water. A few minutes later, Kyle sat in the bathtub, his back facing me. I hugged him tighter, and he blushed, causing me to giggle. "Kyle, you're so shy!" "H-hey! S-stop teasing m-me…" "Now, lemme wash your back!" He tried to huddle into the corner, but I took a bar of soap and rubbed it on my fingers, before brushing my fingers on his back. After the bath, he got out of the bathroom, changed, and promptly fell asleep on my bed again, and I sat there, looking at him.

Kyle POV

I woke up before Liliana did, and I got out of bed, to pack for the trip. She rolled onto her side, and looked up at me, her eyes drooping. "Good morning, Kyle." "Good morning." I patted her head, and she purred. I got up, and she looked at me. "Where are you going, Kyle?" "Oh right! I didn't tell you or Natasha! I'm going with Elena to another realm to find Arusha and my mom. You guys wanna come?" She smacked me on the head, and replied "Of course, dummy." We went downstairs and packed up, the process going quickly with my magic. I found Elena and Natasha waiting for me. Elena smirked, and said "I told her all about it." I created a portal, teleporting to the capital city of the empire we were in. When we arrived, the looming walls were the first thing we saw. The guards looked at us with suspicion, and asked us for our identity cards. I showed them my card, and they let us in. We walked through the town, when we were stopped by a group of imperial guards. They parted, and knelt down, revealing a young man. "You! Hand over the three women." I stared him down, while the girls drew their weapons. The guards did the same, but the man held up a hand. "Wait. Are you sure you want to take this course of action?" "Yes." "Fine. Guards, don't hurt the women." Before they charged in, my void cage surrounded the guards and the men. "So, you wish to trap me, eh?" A blinding light erupted from the man, but several more chains locked him down. I drew a void sword. The light intensified, before completely destroying the chains. Several spikes appeared around him, but he parried them all. This left him open, and several chains slammed into him, the impact sending him flying into several buildings. Several spears followed the initial barrage of chains, slamming into a light shield he had manifested.

??? POV

Dammit! The man I was fighting was incredibly strong. My shield couldn't withstand the barrage. I had to find a way to immobilize him. Before I could come up with a plan, black fire snakes around my legs, binding me. "Shit!" I tried to break the flames using holy water, but they kept burning. "Infernal flames!" I whispered. The man appeared in front of me, emerging from the shadows. He pointed his sword at my neck, and asked "Where are the airfields?" I had no choice but to point in the direction, and he walked away with the three women. "Dammit. The mission failed." I took out a crystal, and activated it. "Master, they got away. My strength was inefficient." A voice crackled over the crystal. "No matter. He'll come to me sooner or later in his search for Risha."

Kyle POV

After the battle with that man, my mana reserves were running low, and the girls had to carry me to the airship. We bought tickets, and sat down at our assigned seats. The airship took off after all the passengers were boarded, and I looked outside of the window, enjoying the view of the ocean. The ocean glimmered an emerald green, and several fish leapt out. I caught a brief glimpse of a large Kraken, before it returned to the depths. We eventually reached the portal to the realm I was going to to rescue my mom and Risha. As the airship went through the portal, we arrived in front of a floating island. Circular metal devices were attached to the bottom, ejecting large pulses of mana. "What are those things?" Liliana asked, pointing towards the devices. "Well, rumor has it that these islands were once part of a unified continent, until a dimensional storm struck." "B-but dimensional storms are limited to the size of a city!" "According to legends, this one was the size of a plane, and it cut across the entire universal plane, splitting all the land, creating the aether we know now." "Wow! So, tell me, Kyle, who's room are you gonna sleep in?" the other two women perked up, and I started sweating under their gaze. "Uuuuuuuhhhhhhh…. I'll sleep in my own room!" I quickly replied, before dashing into a random room.

Liliana POV

We all stared blankly in the direction of where Kyle ran, when we all saw the room he went into. An evil grin slowly stretched across my face. "Hey, look, that's my room." the other two pouted, and looked away. "Now, now ladies, we can share, can't we?" They grinned after I said this, and we came into the room, only to hear the noise of Kyle taking a shower. We undressed, then threw open the door, to see Kyle's back facing us. "Huh?" He turned around, and his face turned red, before he quickly turned back around. "L-Liliana?!? N-Natasha?!? E-Elena?!? What are you guys doing here?" "This is my room, I was gonna take a shower, but I found you in the bathroom." " "U-uh, I just ran into a random room.." A bead of sweat slipped down his neck, and I teleported over to him, and I licked the sweat off his neck. "L-Liliana!?! W-What was that!?!" I giggled, and smirked at him. "I just saw sweat on your neck and licked it off… is that a problem?" His face turned red, and he turned around. "N-no…" a sudden rumbling shook the ship, and I fell into his back. "Huh!?! What's going on?" The blaring of the ship alarms started up, and we hurriedly got dressed for combat. "Warning, Warning, pirates are attacking the ship. Warning, Warning pira-" The alarms stopped, and we realized that something was wrong. I crouched behind Kyle, and he drew his sword, waiting for the pirates to enter our room. I clung to his back, pressing myself against him, and he blushed. "L-Liliana? N-now's really not the time…" " 'Kay, and?" "..." a sigh came out of his mouth, and I hugged him even tighter. The door burst open, and a grizzled man accompanied by several men wielding sabers and cutlasses appeared. I felt Kyle's grip tighten on his sword, as the man grinned. "Kill the man, and take his women!" "YEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!" Kyle sent a huge wave of energy at the charging pirate crew, eviscerating them in a spray of blood. The bearded man faltered a bit, before charging at Kyle. I sensed an aura being emitted from the man, and I whispered to Kyle "He has a magic canceler orb." "Got it."

Kyle POV

Liliana warned me about the man's orb, so I knew I had to fight using physical prowess and skill. He cleaved down with his sword, so I dodged to the side and cut his chest, but I only caused a minor injury. He grinned, before wildly swinging his sword around. Despite the random strikes, real skill was involved, but I activated my draconic lineage, and scales grew on me, turning me into a draconian. I smashed his sword, then ripped out his heart. My form deactivated, and I walked out of the room, looking for more pirates. I created a portal to the ship's deck, and when I got there, it was utter chaos. The pirates and crewmen were fighting, and a woman wearing a red pauldron with a silver, laughing skull emblazoned on it was slaughtering the crewmen. She was probably the leader, judging from her power. The pirate ship was heavily damaged, but the pirates themselves probably aimed to capture the ship to replace theirs. I teleported in front of her, and swung my sword at her, but she spun around, and deflected the blow with the pistol hanging from her hip. I shot several void spikes at her while slashing my sword down, sending a beam of energy slicing across the deck, sending a spray of wooden splinters across the deck. She rolled back, then jumped in the air, shooting bullets everywhere. I deflected them with my sword, but then she kicked my sword, pushing me back. I summoned several swords, sending them flying at her. She dodged the swords, but suffered minor cuts. She shot several bullets at me, then drew a cutlass. "You sure you can handle me, little boy?" She winked at me, her voice sounding coy, and I became a little flustered.The three women glared at her, but her attention was focused on me. "You know, you're pretty cute when you blush like that… I just want to eat you up… hmmm what should I do?" She put a finger to her lip, and my face turned red. "S-stop teasing me…" "But you're so cute when you're flustered!" I swung my sword at her, but pulled a feint and slashed at her side, then slashed downward before stabbing at her neck. She parried all my attacks, and the exchange lasted but a second. "You're fast! Wonder what you can do with that speed..." My face reddened, and I sent a barrage of void swords at her, then summoned vines to immobilize her. She smirked, before burning all the vines. Before I could react, she shot a white, glowing orb into my chest. The girls ran over to me as I collapsed, my last glimpse of them obscured by a blinding white light.
