Prologue

This is the start of a long story... My story, to be exact... Thousands and thousands of lives lived, lost, gained... A story of pain and suffering, of happiness and sadness. Every emotion one can think of...

Who would have thought it would end this way? Memories fractured through time and mended through history... Well... I'll be fine, even if I break, time will remain... And so long as time exists, I continue to live...

This story is not of a normal person... It never was, thinking back... I always knew that... I never truly accepted it though... I mean, who wants to admit they're not normal...?

Well... That's enough existentialism for now... Let's go back to the beginning of this story... Before Alphonse existed... Before Elizabeth existed... Before I met Koyuki... Before I saw my sanity dissipate... Let's start my story over... Just one last time, let's begin this again...
