“My sixth sense is also trembling…”

Everyone was entertained with these two's mischievousness. Harper would ruffle the young boy's feathers and the boy would bite her back. The two liked to call each other 'Pretty Demon' and 'little fairy boy'. And now both of them sported a round bite mark on their pale cheeks.

The speed of jeep slowed down while covering distance of some unknown threshold. They almost rounded the whole town to reach here. The white and grey structure of the household looked very homey as the five jumped off the jeep as they drank in the sight in front of them. The huge build was very much smooth as it was coloured milky white which made it look ethereal in the sunlight and red and yellow tree leaves in background.

The black shiny nameplate was gilded on the metal gate where the boundary wall was made. The names: Gregory Theseus Vlahos & Karen Sakinah Vlahos were engraved with gold on the nameplate. Some sort of symbol was engraved on the surface of the metal gate. The symbol looked like Ignis element of alchemy. The Manor was huge and was in the far corner of the residence area where the buildings were quite scarce. The west of the area led to the forest. But a pathway around the small part of land was made and that part looked very much cultivated than the rest of the area. Some fruit trees and small plants with pots were placed along with a small shade of the glass was made in that corner where the boundary of the compound met. There were some vines hanging on the corners of the shade and also the wooden stands specifically made for them. Juicy green and brown fruits were hanging and looming in a cluster. Lana wanted to run in there and bite them down. But they hand not met the owner yet. So it would be quite rude to trespass before the introduction.

Roman pressed the button on the Security Access Control device on the wall beside the gate. There was no response from other side. Roman pressed again and called out in the microphone, "Hey, old man. It's Roman. There are some guests here for you."

"I did not invite anyone today." A gruff and sulky voice called out from the other side. "Yeah. I'm coming dear. Just hang in for a moment. Wait….. wait for me….." The voice yelled tenderly at what seemed to be other direction. The microphone connection was cut off with a thud. The teenagers and the older man looked at each other. What a troublesome fellow!

Harper got impatient and wanted to jump up the gate. Raphael squeezed her nape and told her to wait till he tried. He pressed the buzzer three times. And again. And again.

"What the fu*k is it, Romie. Send away all the guests today. Today is my private day with my darling. I will not entertain any of that Davis' shitty connections." The same gruff voice yelled with annoyance.

"Grandpa. It's Raph. We are here to meet you." Raphael spoke up after the old man vented.

"I don't ca….. Wait. Who spoke just now? Raph? Raph, are you here? Weren't you gonna come next month? Dear….. Dear, come on. Raph is here. My grandson is here. Wait. Just wait a moment. I'll open the gate for you." The old man's excited voice blasted out from the microphone. Harper frowned even mare so that her face looked like wrinkled mochi. Lana and Anna squeezed her shoulders.

The old man all but ran to his wife who was making breakfast in the kitchen and informed her about this. Both husband and wife ran to the door and instructed the butler to open the gate. Simon has been the housekeeper of Vlahos' for almost thirty years. He instantly prepared the security to open the gate the moment he heard Raphael's name.

Seeing the gate sliding open automatically, Raphael, Carter and Roman took off the luggage from the Jeep. The group walked into the compound inside the gate. The compound was fully embedded with large stones. There were some tiny grass and clovers sprouted from the space between tiles of stones over years. As they headed to the Manor, the magnificent mahogany door opened with a bang.

"Raph. You are finally here my boy. Come on Simon. Arrange the luggage. My grandson is here after such a long time. That ass did not even send me his pictures. Blah…. Blah…. Blah…." The old man rumbled with that extremely large voice of his. Raphael lit a candle for him in his heart. And silently clenched Harper's hand as he handed the bag to the servant who came with Butler Simon. The little lady was seething with anger. How could her grandparents be so oblivious of her? How could they not even know her existence? Or did they selectively ignore? Her tiny mischievous mind was now filled with negative thoughts. She was clearly angry at her parents and grandparents. Her death stare was so deadly that Butler Simon noticed it. But the old man was still in his joy world.

"Let them come inside Greg. Are you gonna let them wait there entire morning? Come on kids, harry inside. And Roman, come in with Joe. I have made his favorite cookies." An elegant lady wearing gray and white home clothes came out from behind Gregory and urged them in the Manor.

The old man held his precious grandson with his upper arm and dragged him inside. In his eyes only his grandson was important. Raphael was helplessly dragged into the Manor. Three pairs of indifferent eyes and one pair of angry eyes looked ahead and stared dead at the pair going ahead. Butler Simon exchanged a glace with servant. Looks like something was amiss here. Who was this young lady and why was she glaring so venomously at his master? More poisonously than Madame!

The crowd went in the manor and Butler Simon had the two servants put the luggage in the different rooms.

"Ah, my boy. How have you been? We thought you would take your sweet time to visit. That bastard son of mine did not let you visit your hometown. Always send your grandma some messages about how you did this and how you did that. That white eyed wolf won't even send a picture. Making both of us indignant as those old men would flaunt their own grandchildren. Now I can also introduce you to them. Flaunt you to them…" The old man slapped Raphael's back and took in his features which matched to his by sixty to seventy percent and was so happy he cried. Both old people wiped their dewy eyes.

The other four stood beside them watching this emotional reunion with indifferent faces. Raphael smiled embarrassed at the two old people, glancing towards the other four figures. Old man then remembered that his grandson brought his friends here too.

"Oh. You brought your friends here too. Won't you introduce them to us, Raph?" Old lady spoke as the old man controlled his excitement.

Carter diligently stood before Harper as he motioned Lana and Anna to go ahead so that his best friend can introduce them first. His large but slender build of almost 6' hid the tiny figure of 5'7 easily. Harper rolled her eyes at this blonde's puckishness. She knew they were protective of her.

"This is Svetlana Dunkeld. We call her Lana. Her family lives next door to us. We are in the same grade right now." Raph introduced Lana first. Lana smiled slightly. Just like a mannequin. Raph knew she was also angry, but seeing her handling the situation well he breathed out lightly.

"Ah. What a lovely young woman! Really took after River. Trent had sent me the picture of you when you were two years old. How beautiful the kids grew up! Thank the lord." Old lady Karen caressed Lana's hair while remembering how her son's friend sent his daughter's pictures just to let them see their son's family in the background. Her son was truly a stubborn one. Till now he has not talked to her decently on a phone call let alone meeting them face to face. Lana smiled indifferently.

"And this is Annaelle Pouskin. We call her Anna. She is in the same grade as us but in different stream. She is studying chemistry as a main subject." Raph took Lana's hand and dragged her to his side so that he can introduce everyone further.

"Ah… Pouskin. I have met Dove once in a Ball. Truly worthy of the image. But you have Paxton's Nose." Karen smiled as she remembered the proud and calm figure of Dove Pouskin. Anna softly said her greetings and stood beside Lana.

"This is my good friend Carter Vallejo. He is in Computer Science Department. We all are in the same grade."

"Jones is really a good boy. He helped me install the security system in our Manor last time he came to visit of behalf of my own bastard. That is how polite and gentle a young lad should be." The old man Greg spoke this time.

Carter smiled under his nose and looked at him appreciatively. Thinking about how his father was an old fox who would take a bite to the bones of offenders and won't even leave the bones intact.

Looking at his friend smiling like a cat and not having any intention to get aside, Raphael yanked him by his shoulder to the side. Two old people's smiles froze on their faces. As if they were looking at some mystic creature.

The girl was very beautiful. She had ginger hair and golden locks. Her gem like blue eyes were indifferent as they stared at the old man with her arms crossed. Her lip were pursed stubbornly. That upturned button nose which held the familiar arrogance of Vlahos' clearly matched her daughter-in-law as Karen scrutinized the girl.

"Well, this is Harper. She is in mine and Lana's division." Raph yipped from behind. The girl narrowed her eyes at the boy. The old people were too stunned to speak at the time. Raph's introduction caused a ripple in this stare down.

"L…Love. W…Why am I feeling scared?" Greg squeaked. In a completely different voice from a few moments ago.

"My sixth sense is also trembling…" Karen whispered back.
