Chapter 23: First Day of High School

-Tokyo, Japan-

After Valerie left Anteiku yesterday, she returned to the metropolis area of Tokyo and bought some KFC for lunch, before heading home and spending the rest of the day with the girl's, mainly Sabrina, to PK people in YGGDRASIL.

And they also received their school uniforms from Chisato yesterday, meaning today was the first day of High School for both Valerie and Sabrina.

"Ah~ How long has is been since I last went to school?" Valerie said with a nostalgic smile while nursing her coffee. "As they say, behind every successful person is a substantial amount of coffee."

"That's wrong Valerie! It's a coffee a day keeps the doctor away!" Sabrina who had honey all over her mouth commented.

"I think you meant an apple a day keeps the doctor away, Sabrina." Sayu chuckled at their antics and ate her own breakfast.

"Sabrina, you should hurry up and finish, don't make Chisato wait too long for you." Amelia added while staring at Valerie in her uniform.

Hijirigasaka Academy was the name of the school Valerie and Sabrina were going to attend. It is private school located in Tokyo, Japan, and is also one of the main settings in Shinmai Maou no Testament where the main characters all attend school.

The academy's female School uniform, resembles a white sailor uniform that has a black collar and black cuffs with white horizontal stripes, an orange-colored tie hanged from the edges of the collar, a short black skirt that has a single white stripe, and a pair of maroon-colored shoes.

"If you want we can do it in a school uniform Amelia~" Valerie winked at the older demoness.

"That's not a bad idea." Amelia gave Valerie a one over and agreed.

"…."

"Anyways, it's time to go, so finish your milk Sabrina." Valerie said and stood up, walking to the kitchen while looking at Sayu from the corner of her eye, 'It's only a matter of time~'

"I hope we didn't make you wait too long Chisato-nee." Valerie commented, when she walked out of her apartment room along with Sabrina to leave for school.

"Stupid Goddess~! Because of you I had to commit the blasphemous act of rushing my breakfast!" Sabrina whined, glaring at Chisato, who at this moment turned to Valerie.

"…."

"…."

Silence immediately fell between the two.

The woman's green eyes looked at her for any sort of reaction, but Valerie being Valerie just gave her a wink and said, "No need to worry Chisato-nee, I don't care about the bullshit rules about demons not associating with 'Gods'. In fact I think it's rather hot for a demon to fuck a god~"

Chisato's casual gaze turned surprised before she smiled, "As expected of the daughter of the 'strongest succubus', your perversion definitely surpasses hers."

"Why, thank you for the compliment~!" Valerie grinned and towards the elevator to go downstairs, "Anyways we should get going, Sabrina is already at the car park."

Chisato gave a nod and stared at Valerie, "You look good in your uniform."

"I only aim to please…women~"

Tokyo, Hijirigasaka Academy.

School was already in session everyone had already proceeded to their own classes.

Moments later, the teacher entered the room, causing everyone to return to their seats and cease their chatter.

"Good morning, everyone. I have big news. We'll be getting two transfer students."

"What? Two?!"

"Didn't Toujou-san just transfer a week ago? And we're already getting two more?"

"Is it boy or a girl?"

"I hope it's two beautiful girl's."

"Ugh, boys~"

Everyone looked towards the door that was slowly opened to get their attention. Two girls entered, the first one was a tall girl with silver hair and sapphire eyes, while the second girl had pitch black hair with fiery red eyes. The moment the two entered, the class immediately fell into a daze.

The teacher cleared his throat bringing the students out of their daze. But what they didn't see was the cold sweat rolling off of his face as he secretly glanced at the black haired girl.

The silver haired girl faces the whole class and introduced herself, "My name is Valerie Sapphire, Valerie being my first name, and Sapphire my surname. I'm not one for formalities so I hope you don't mind if I call you by your first names. As for what I like…" Valerie turned to Sabrina and immediately grabbed her waist, and to the shock of the whole class, she kissed her on the lips. "I like women~ So I hope any guys don't confess to me~ With that said, I'll look forward to getting to know you all." She finished with a grin, leaving the podium for Sabrina.

Sabrina stepped up and eyed the teacher for a second, making him secretly gulp, before turning to the class, "Sabrina Sapphire at your service~! I like what I like and I hate what I hate! And what I like the most is Valerie's cooking~!" Sabrina exclaimed as she made a peace sign.

Gasp-!

A gasp was heard, attracting everyone's attention to the silver haired beauty.

"So you only like me for my cooking Sabrina?" Valerie asked, looking offended.

"Ah! No! Sex! Sex with you is also amazing!" Sabrina quickly added.

Valerie gave a satisfied nod, "That's better~ "

"So you'll keep making me desserts, right?" Sabrina asked with an anxious smile.

"Hmm~ Sure." Valerie nodded making Sabrina make a 'Yes!' pose. She then glanced at the class who was looking at the two with mouth open wide, "Anyways, let's take a seat, we don't want to delay lesson any more, after all, education is a passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare today."

"Umu!" Sabrina nodded in agreement, and followed Valerie to the free seats at the back.

"…."

The two girls supernaturally beautiful looks made people senseless and confused, whether is was the male or female students in the class. Many of them had blushed faces and started whispering excitedly while glancing at the transfer students with their respective groups.

Valerie ignored them and stared at the empty seat in front of her, before turning to the person on her right.

It was a young man with short and slightly disheveled dark brown hair, light green eyes, a small scar on his right cheek.

"I'd like to sit in this seat sensei." Valerie smiled lightly taking a seat, placing her bag next to her, barely giving the young man a glance afterwards.

"And I'll sit on her left sensei~!" Sabrina cheerfully smiled at the teacher, making him force a smile.

"Alright, seeing that introductions are done I'll begin lessons."

And so whole lesson after that seemed like a breeze to Valerie. Though the same couldn't be said for Sabrina who fell asleep in the first ten minutes.

However, instead of waking her up, the teacher sighed in relief, something only Valerie noticed.

'For some reason this disguised god is afraid of Sabrina. Well, who cares, if Sabrina somehow managed to scare him, it's even better for me. The second reason why I asked for her to be transferred was so she could protect me from this guy.' Valerie shamelessly thought, as she and everyone else stood up from their seats after hearing the bell.

"Ah~ Is lesson finished?" Sabrina groggily opened her eyes and yawned, "Valerie~ I'm hungry~!"

Valerie looked around and saw that none of the students even left the class and were staring at the two. Some were adoring, while others lustful.

Her gaze then fell on blue-haired girl walked towards her, or more specifically to the boy next to her.

Yuki Nonaka who had just arrived at her destination, stared at Valerie, but immediately turned her gaze to Basara.

"How cold~ And here I thought you came to confess your love at first sight to me." Valerie playfully smiled at the childhood sweetheart and Heroine of the protagonist—Basara.

"I already have someone I like." She said with an expressionless face, hugging the brown haired boy who looked at her with an awkward smile.

Valerie hummed in understanding before saying, "Spaghetti is also straight at first but it strays when soaked in water."

This left most of the class confused, though Yuki answered.

"Then I just have to make sure I stay dry."

Valerie chuckled and smiled, pulling Sabrina out of the class, ignoring the yearning and confused looks being sent their way.

"So~ Where are we going~?" Sabrina skipped next to Valerie, both attracting the attention of the students in the corridors.

"Rooftop."

"Roof? For outdoor sex?" Sabrina unabashedly blurted out, making the students who heard her blush.

"Hm~ That's actually not a bad idea."

"Then-!"

"No. We're going to eat."

"Then let's hurry before lesson begins again!"

And so the two made their way to the rooftop, unaware that their 'lunch' to the rooftop is going to be misunderstood due to Sabrina's previous words.

Though it's not like Valerie and Sabrina would care anyways, after all, A demon does whatever they want, whenever they want, wherever they want.

Also, this is normal and often happens among students, besides talking about lessons, they also sometimes gossip about other students with their friend groups.

And Valerie and Sabrina being the most beautiful girls in school are bound to attract attention. So when hearing about hobbies of such people, the students reactions are naturally more heated than when talking about ordinary students.

Hijirigasaka Academy has a very large land as one of the top-level schools in Tokyo. So this school had many buildings and facilities inside.

And of course it had the classic rooftops that all Japanese schools are famous for. Though surprisingly, Sabrina and Valerie were the only ones present.

*Munch* Munch* Munch*

"Your inventory is such a broken skill Valerie! You can buy KFC and put it in there and it will be still warm the next day!"

Valerie chuckled seeing Sabrina gobble down the burger and sip on some cola.

"By the way, what do you think of the teacher?"

Sabrina paused as she was about to bite her burger, and was silent for a moment before she said, "He should be able to at least take one punch from me."

Valerie blinked but shrugged after, standing up and making her way to the railings on the roof.

"What a nice view." She said as she enjoyed the wind caressing her face. "Hmm? A chapel? And there's someone in their, she looks a little familiar~" Valerie said aloud as she activated her [Demonic Eyes of Destruction] and poured demonic energy to see further.

The eyes the allowed Valerie to see blood inside others or things that are far away. She can also see the essence of magic and its formulas, allowing her to learn magic more easily by observing its use. And depending on her mastery of Demon Eyes, she can see through various types of concealment magic as well.

Of course she isn't aware of all of this since she only used her eyes once or twice.

Sabrina watched Valerie jump of the rooftop and to the chapel, she also stood up stared at the sky frowning, "I sense a disturbance in the force."
