Alex's POV

Bringing Regan into the living room, I gave him some water to calm down and then continue. He silently sat on the sofa drinking water as the rain drops were still hitting the ground outside.

"Seems like it won't be stopping tonight" I said referring to the rain so as to calm the situation down a little.

" Well, it might stop who knows if it does it would be good for the farmers ", he replied.

" I guess yes, everything and everyone has its own importance" I said and smiled to him, finally he seemed a bit relieved, " how is the pai-" I was not able to finish the statement as Regan said.

" My father was the head of the company, he made everything on his own, without any family backup, Dad was the son of a farmer, and he was one even when he got married to mom," he said looking down at the floor.
