Volume 2: Chapter 88

(AN: Okay peeps, this chapter will explain about Souichiro and Saeko it feels forced even for me but I hope you can bear with it XD)

"It's not what you think... Saya." Souichiro made a huge sigh and continued "Believe me. We have planned to save you but me and your moth--"

Yuriko stood up and raised her hand to stop Souichiro from talking "What do you mean we? It was only me that was finding a way to look for our daughter, and yet you stopped me because we have more important tasks to do..." said Yuriko in a calm voice, yet with a fierce face.

Hearing his wife's voice intercepted him, Souichiro sighed again, looked at his wife, and spoke "If we hadn't sent our men to the water and power plants, we could have a hard time living right now and more people might die."

"So... is that it, Father... I understand it now. I know you still feel like the leader of an ultra-nationalist right-wing group. But, you can at least save me when the start of the outbreak right? I know I'm being selfish right now but I was waiting for you to save me, Father..."

Saya spoke while looking down at the ground. Farenear stroke her hair to calm her down because he knows that Saya is like a ticking time bomb.

A few seconds later Saya lifted her head and faced Farenear, then she looked at her father and said "Also, the pride of your swordsmanship or something? Father, if you are looking for Sae--"

Saya's conversation halted when a motorcycle is coming their way. Then, the man stops just a few meters away from them and warned with a scared and panicked tone.

"Souichiro! A swarm! Haaa... A swarm of Zeke's are coming this way! Someone lead them here!"

The man said while still catching his breath. Souichiro frowned while Yuriko covered her mouth with her hand, feared what the man said.

Souichiro ordered the people with a raised voice and leadership. The way he ordered the people we're organized.

"Everyone, to and prepared your weapons! Yuriko, tell the men to prepare the oil! Saya, we will talk about this later. For now, tell your friends to--"

Raising her hand like what her mother did, Saya smiled and looked at Farenear, whispered "Prove them who you are..." then, she kissed him on the cheek before walking towards her mother.

"For goodness sake, Saya set aside your pride for now and obey us!" Souichiro's usually calm voice got louder with an ordering tone.

Expecting for Saya to retort, her daughter smiled again while facing Farenear again with her arms crossed. "Watch my boyfriend, father" said in a tinge of proudness.

Staring at them, Yuriko suddenly thought 'My daughter really has change huh..." and pulled her daughter closer to her. Saya is used to be a somewhat impolite and mean daughter. Even cold against most men but looking at the man her daughter said as her boyfriend, Yuriko believed that he is the reason why Saya changed.

"Oniichan! Can I blow them up?"

Alice tucked his sleeve while looking at Farenear's face with a bright smile and full of excitement. But this time, Farenear shook his head and decline with a smile. Picking up Alice and took her towards Kyoko.

Facing her, Farenear peck Kyoko's lips and told her, "Can you watch Alice for a while? You can go to Saya's side."

Nodding, Kyoko pecked Farenear's lips before leaving, not minding the surprise expressions of the onlookers and answered "Don't worry, just don't act recklessly."

Smiling, Kyoko held Alice's hands while the girls followed Farenear. He doesn't want to show his supernatural powers for now and decided to use modern weapons to kill the Zekes.

Climbing at the top of the M1131 vehicle, Rika laid down on her belly and position her self for sniping. Switching the function of the sniper for explosive bullets, Rika made a childish grin and felt very excited to see what this baby can do.

Also, Shizuka positioned the vehicle to block the only way towards the gate, then, she got off to the vehicle and as expected, men can't resist her charm and body. Well, Farenear wants to flex his woman and they can only watch him in envy.

Toshimi and Misuzu positioned themselves in front of Saya and the others. While Farenear Saeko and Rei are on the front lines and blocking the entrance just like the vehicle.

"Saya... Will your, boyfriend be alright?" Yuriko asked her daughter a little worried while her eyes are stealing glances at Kyoko, wondering why that woman and Saya's boyfriend kissed.

Chuckling at her mother's reaction, Saya held the top of Yuriko's hand that is placed on her shoulder and once again spoke with a confident smile while looking at then frontline "Mother. Just watch 'our' boyfriend killing them."

Yuriko and the others who heard her got dumbfounded again. This man is the boyfriend of those women? Yeah... They thought about that instead of helping them.

Watching at the back, Souichiro did not order his men to help and just watch how capable this man is why her daughter and the granddaughter of his master, Saeko Busujima, is relying on.

'I failed you master... Your granddaughter has loved someone else' Souichiro shook his head and closed his eyes while letting out a sigh.

Souichiro promised Saeko's grandfather, that he will marry Saeko despite their age gap. But Saeko told her grandfather that 'she has her own freedom to choose someone.'

Those words made Souichiro realize that he doesn't have a chance and instead marry Yuriko. It's not like Souichiro doesn't love Yuriko... But looking at his suppose to be wife with another man and even kissed before the battle starts, his pride shattered.

Also, it's not like he is an evil guy, but Souichiro is very devoted to his master and always fulfills his promises.

'I will show her the sword and asked her one last time... You have grown beautiful and strong. Saeko...' Souichiro thought while looking at them at the front lines and sighed. A man strong ma like Souichiro also desires a capable and strong woman like Saeko.
