Volume 2: Chapter 50

(AN: A few more chapter peeps to come back to MC's perspective. I just want to kill a certain teacher so I hope you will be patient, also my schedule change so I won't be able to upload chapters tomorrow instead of today.)

"Hey, are you ignoring me?! Hirano?! No!!!"

The zombies have destroyed the door and rushed towards them.

Amazingly, Hirano managed to fire the nail gun that killed a zombie in an n instant. He made sights and handle in a mere ten seconds.

"Gotcha!" Hirano smiled and fired the nail gun once more.

"Hirano?" Saya looked at Hirano with, scared and run towards the bag, preparing to leave the room.

"Could you put the drills and nails inside the bag?" Hirano asked while continue to shoot the swarming zombies at the door.

"Excuse me?! Who gave you, of all the people the right to order me around?! You should have done that lately and not just asking me questions!" Saya pumped her first and yelled furiously. Hirano should have done it lately instead of asking her and waiting for her to prepare the tools.

"Please~" Hirano glanced at her for a moment with an evil smile.

"Heek?! O-okay..." Saya immediately went to the nails and drills section, shoving everything inside the bag.

"No!!!" The group heard a scream from the staff room, and Farenear knew it was Saya. He looked at the group and said.

"That's from the staff room! We should hurry!" Takashi grip the bat and wanted to rush. Farenear held his shoulder and sighed while looking at Saeko.

"Guys, I'm rushing, they are in danger... Miss Saeko? can I trust you in protecting them? And you two Takashi and Hisashi, help miss Saeko, I will be fast. Rei, please watch their rear, miss Kyoko, Shizuka, Misuzu, and Toshimi are not capable in battle as for now..."

Farenear put Shizuka down and told her he will be right back. There is a horde of zombies in front and at the back of them. Not minding the group will witness again his abilities--

Farenear made a ball of lightning, blasting the front and their back. leaving only scorch bodies from the dead.

"Okay... It's clear. I'll return immediately and bring them both here... or you can follow me towards them. I will clear a path." Farenear unexpectedly patted Saeko's head, making a the sadist cold blood killer, feel at the bliss.

The group nodded with astonished faces and Farenear vanished in their sight instantly.

(Before Farenear arrived)

"What do you think you're doing? You should carry something too." Saya pushed a bag to Hirano, letting him carry because the weight is too much for her body.

Saya then went on the door, checking the hall if there are still walking corpse. Hirano carried the bag by his arms and suddenly asked.

"H-hey, Takagi... Mind if I ask you something?"

"What?"

"Erm, why me? To all the people..." Hirano, 's voice stuttered.

"No reason, in particular, we need to stick together to survive," Saya answered nonchalantly.

"Ah, Okay..." Hirano sighed and mumbled. That's not the answer he wanted to hear, he walked outside the door, regaining his calm with a confident smile on his face.

"What's with that sudden mood swing? Did you come to a realization?" Saya smug and asked in a haughty tone.

"I don't know yet..."

Then, both of them cleared the hall on the other side, until they reached an end with many walkers in every corner. Saya crouched near a water bucket, while Hirano is surveying the area.

"What are you doing..."

"Shut up and watch."

Saya threw a wet cloth on a locker. Making the walkers approach while crowding the locker.

"Do you understand now? See how they didn't react to where the rag came from? They don't feel pain so they react to sound. I don't think that they can see or they should have not swarmed to that locker when the rag produced the sound." Saya whispered.

"How about heat?"

"We will try it we have the opportunity. Let's go..." Saya stood up.

"Are we really gonna go outside?"

"No, we are going to stay in a room where we can wait for that guy... Let's go..."

"Uh, I don't feel like walking..." The moment he said that Hirano turned and suddenly hit the bucket of water.

"Grooa!"

And as expected, the zombies immediately noticed then and rushed towards them.

"You idiot! You're getting us to get eaten? Damn it! I won't be able to figure out their traits! " Saya cursed while they run to the direction where only a few zombies standing the way.

"Then help me fight them!" Hirano yelled as he continuing shooting while making a path.

"Look what I am trying to do! This is all your fault!" Saya answered while hitting a zombie using a thick wood.

"I'm almost out of ammo!" Hirano warned.

"Then reload!!" Saya answered while still smacking and hitting the corpse.

"B-but... Behind you!" The moment Saya turned, a corpse is standing behind her, with its hand raised, and ready to attack her.

"I'm out of bullets!" Hirano tried to shoot but the nail gun is out of bullets.

Saya tried to walk backward but she tripped by Hirano's bag placed on the ground, she falls down on her butt and screamed in fear "No!!!"
