Sinister Strike

It was already sunset when Alindog and his "Mambabatok" or co-tattoo artist friend finished my tattoo. They're really pro, they do everything by hand, all natural materials, fast and satisfactory! I mean, because they all both hunk of a man! Oh, my grass!

After we ate our dinner, Mayumi's young boy cousin, who is around my age, named Muda, said that they saw a "Diwata" or a kind of lesser goddess sitting and glowing with a bluish light in the middle of the forest.

"You can't go both of you Mayumi!" Said by Muda.

"Yes we can! See? I have a tattoo and I want more! So I just need to kill someone, that's our culture right? Besides, I'm in a Timawa class too!" My bluff to Mayumi's cousin.

"Haha! You seem so tough! Come on! Let's go!" Enthusiastically said by Muda.

"What? Go now?!" Both me and Mayumi surprisingly said at the same time.

After we cleaned the dishes, we rushed to clean our teeth with salt and water. Toothpaste is not yet invented in this era so, that's the hygienic norm here.

"We are now packed and ready." Mayumi notified us.

"Hooray! Let the adventure begin!" I shouted with excitement.

Then me, Mayumi, Muda and his team of hunk of a man warriors started our journey to the forest in the middle of the night.

"What would you do if you saw the Diwata?" I asked Muda while we were walking.

"Maybe I will wish that I may have a prosperous life and a beautiful wife like you." Muda replied.

"Oh, cool and flirty! Haha!" I replied to Muda blushing, not because I like him, but because I am just flattered.

"How about you Mayumi? What would you do if you saw the Diwata?" I asked Mayumi.

"Me? Well... I don't know Patricia, maybe because I am not sure if Diwata was a benevolent or a malevolent one." Mayumi replied.

"Oh, that makes sense." I replied to Mayumi while nodding my head.

"How about you Patricia? What will you do after we see the Diwata?" Muda asked.

"Me? Well see..." I said then I went into a deep thought.

"Maybe I will ask her what cryptocurrency is going to the moon next!" I said to Muda.

"Crypto? Moon?" Muda asked with full of confusion.

"Nah! Nevermind, just forget about it." I said to Muda a little bit frustrated.

As I turned around my head to Mayumi, I saw her smiling at me.

"Hey, girl! What?" I asked Mayumi as I was getting started to be annoyed.

"No, nothing my friend, you are just amazing." She replied to me gracefully with dilated eyes.

After some few hours of walking, an unexpected thing happened. There was a raid from another tribe in the middle of our journey that we encountered. The boys fought back including Mayumi, but me, I just hid in the bushes as Mayumi instructed. I watched some warriors from our side brutally killed. My eyes were flowing with tears, my heart was full of hatred because I didn't know how to fight. I am just a burden to them.

While watching the battle, someone just struck me on the nape then I went unconscious...
