The Fight

Hua Yan walk toward the stage and the whole arena became quiet.

"It's a waste of time to postpone the competition tomorrow so we have come to decide that the third round will start immediately!" she shouted.

The whole arena bursts with cheers as they anticipated the winner will be decide today.

She hold her hands up high for the crowd to quiet down and continue to say.

"We have decided to make the third round as a battle royal as the numbers of the participants left are odds. This is to make the match fair to all the participants." She then smiled and shouts "LET THE MATCH BEGINS!!!".

HHHUUUUUARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH

Cheers and shouts emerged from the crowd as they cannot wait to see the match. The betting booths became busier because of it. Many of them bets towards the clans youngsters as they had a high chance of winning.

Long Hao was seated at the participants bench while waiting for the announcement and he put his hand on his chin as he thinks about his opponents.

"I wonder which one of them is the strongest? Will I get to beat them? Who will I knock out first?" he thought to himself.

Then he shrugged and continue to meditate while waiting for the referee to call him on stage.

At another side of the arena. Three people were seated on the bench. They were the participants from the clans of the village.

"To think that we will have a battle royal for the third round." says Song Jia.

"Well it was to be expected as we had even numbers of participants." Fa Mu replied.

Wei Lu snorted and say "It doesn't matter as I will win eventually."

Song Jia glanced to him and rolled his eyes while Fa Mu shakes his head as they already know about Wei Lu's arrogant attitude. While it maybe true that Wei Lu was stronger than both of them but it was only a tad bit stronger. Not so much that it had a difference as they all were at the Body Mortal peak stage.

A youth was spotted standing near the stage as he stand there with his eyes close. When he opened his eyes, it was all white. His eyes had white pupils which is weird as he was born that way. He can see clearly just like other people but others might mistaken him for being blind. Long Hao can identified him as one of the last participants as his name was Mu Mingze.

"Interesting" said the youth.

He then closed his eyes back while balance himself on top his staff.

A big stage was prepared on the middle of the arena. The referee called the participants on the stage one by one. The crowd were shouting crazily when their name was called. Especially when Wei Lu showed up on the stage as many of them bets on him as he has the highest chances of winning this competition. Five of them stand from five different sides and watching each other faces.

The referee walk to the middle and look at them and say "The rules are simple. No killing. Knock out, admits defeat or fall down from the stage is considered as losing. Be careful and please avoid mutilating others." he then paused and continued "Now are you ready?" he ask giving them the signal to bow to show respect to others before the match start.

They bowed while the referee walked out the stage and shouted "FIGHT!"

The whole arena cheered but the fight didn't start yet. They look at each other tensely as they waited for someone to starts the fight. Suddenly, Mu Mingze rushed towards Fa Mu. He jumps and tried to beat Fa Mu's head with his staff. Fa Mu block the staff with his saber and proceed to jump backwards to take a breath. He felt that blow just now was heavy. His hands feel shaky from receiving it.

The reason Mu Mingze rushed towards Fa Mu first was that he felt that Fa Mu had just advanced on Body Mortal peak stage for two months ago making him the weakest from the clan three youngsters.

Song Jia brandished her daggers towards Wei Lu as she wanted to defeat him. Wei Lu brought out his sword and block her daggers. She swipe one of them towards his face and the other to his stomach which he manage to block it with his sword. Song Jia then duck down and sweep her feet toward Wei Lu to make him fall but Wei Lu dodge it and stab his sword on Song Jia's feet. Song Jia rolled sideways to evade it and tried to throw one of her daggers towards him. Wei saw that and flick the dagger to the side which Song Jia pulled it back with a string on her hand.

Long Hao watched all of this happen as he thought "Do I look to weak that they even ignored me? or is it because I'm too strong?" but he decided to wait for the fight between them finish or interrupt them all when the time is right.

"To think that the kid would just watch all of this happen without joining." Long Zhao said.

"Well you know him. He doesn't like to take advantage over others." replied Long Chen.

"That Hao kid is either an idiot or he had so much sense of justice in him." said Tian Wang.

Yang Gu laughed and said "It is to be expected as he never injure any of his opponents before right Xiu Ken?."

"Hmm" the cloak man nod.

Hua Yan sat silently and watched the fight happens.

Fa Mu fought with Mu Mingze for a while but he can only dodge his blow while counterattacking as he felt that blocking Mu Mingze blow might make him unable to lift his saber. Mu Mingze smiled at Fa Mu making him feel like a creep and look crazy.

While Song Jia and Wei Lu were at their throats as they exchange blow after blow. Blocking and dodging while brandishing their martial arts. Both of them had small cuts here and there making the fight look intense.
