Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

Suddenly, behind Jin, the shorter of the two masked beings appeared as he stabbed at Jin's back and neck with his dual daggers.

As if sensing the approaching danger, Jin's warning bells went off as he immediately and narrowly evaded the sneak attack as he stepped back a few meters to give himself some space.

'What was that feeling just now...I have a feeling as if that is the key in unlocking my senses to a newer level.'

As he had little time to assess his previous situation, Jin immediately found himself trying to enter his previous state which had caused him to evade the sneak attack.

Using his immensely high comprehension, he felt as if he was close to the previous state but, as he was in the middle of enlightenment, he was interrupted by the sound of a sword cutting through the wind as it chopped sideways aiming to cleave out his head from his neck.

Easily ducking under the sword Jin slashed towards the taller of the two masked figures as his sword was then guided away from the swordsman's body by the dagger user as Jin found himself in the same situation as all the previous times during this fight.

With ease, Jin began to grow accustomed to the duo who had a couple of centuries of experience behind them as Jin's sword then curved beautifully under the moonlight as it penetrated the shoulder of the shorter opponent.

Not wanting to take any risks, Jin immediately slashed his sword with his full strength down as his sword slit apart his opponent's guts, leaving a massive wound in which his intestines and blood gushed out into the real world.

Ahhhhhh!!!

The scene of his comrade being brutally killed right in front of his eyes sent the taller of the duo into a state of craziness as he wildly slashed towards Jin's five-year-old body.

Though his power mysteriously increased, Jin easily perceived and correctly predicted his opponent's actions from the loud cutting of the wind sound that the wild slashes caused. Finding multiple flaws in his opponent's movements, Jin's sword arched all the way and dug into his opponent's chest as he destroyed his heart in the process.

[Two enemies killed]

[Secret Task-Completed]

[Reward- 5 Reality Marks]

-

Hearing the words of his system, Jin immediately felt elated as he had already lost a lot of Reality Marks for his previous requests.

According to the system, his clothing cost 1 Reality mark, his blindfold was 5 Reality Marks, the black sword of his cost 10 Reality Marks while taking away the cultivation of his two previous enemies was 24 Reality Marks.

At the end of it all, he lost 40 Marks of Reality which left him in a horrid mood but, now that he knew that he can gain more Marks of Reality, he can spend it a little more wantonly.

Coming out of his thoughts, Jin felt his surroundings brightened as two sets of three sparkling golden balls entered his chest making him let out a devilish smile on his face.

"Those two Demons were truly stupid people," Jin said under his breath while having a cocky smile etched on his face.

'Now, let's go somewhere that I can safely absorb all of these cores so that I can form my core and breakthrough to the Energy Creating realm.

A few hundred meters away from Jin's previous location, a pristine and sparkling lake was located. Listening to the direction given by using 1 more mark of Reality, Jin appeared here after a dozen or so seconds.

Gazing at the lake, Jin went over the water to check his appearance as he knew that the marks on his body had mysteriously disappeared.

Sadly, as soon as he looked in the direction of the water, he realized that he had a blindfold on and was currently unable to see not just his appearance but, he was unable to see anything at all.

This also brought up one of his most recent problems....he was currently blind.

In a world that was ruled by strength, it did not matter which part of the world he currently was in, as similarly to the Demons he previously faced, every other being in this location he just found himself in are most definitely also of the same mindset.

The mindset of the strong rules the weak...If he is blind, wouldn't the chances of his death spike even if he could sense his surroundings, what about assassins who can blend in with their surroundings.

Sigh!

Jin thinking about it made him let out a sigh as he then sat down in a meditative position and focused on the transparent screen that appeared in his mind.

Books Of Memories- 3

Talents- 3

Following the recommendation of another mark of Reality, three golden books appeared in Jin's palm as with great expectation he simultaneously placed all three on his forehead as he instantly regretted his decision.

Ahhhhhhhh!!!

An influx of memories suddenly entered his mind as he went on to live for approximately 1,500 years. From the moment Jason who was the taller of the two masked figures was born up to his now death date, the memories of Drake, the shorter of the two figures also began to now stream into Jin's mind.

If it was not for the fact that he was of the Void race, Jin would most likely become a vegetable by now as even if he luckily didn't, he definitely would have split personality disorder. Thankfully, being a member of the Void race, Jin's body and mind were more resilient than any being in the same realm of power as him.

Right after Drake's 450 years of memories ended, the birdman's memories then entered Jin's mind as along with it also came this beast's experiences. From the birth of this beast and its life in the wild, all the way up to the meeting between Jin and itself.

'The poor thing was merely moving on instinct, it isn't his fault for becoming a man-eating monster.' Jin thought while still in a daze from the 1,500 years of memory he just received as he had not realized what his body was doing right now.

Crunch!

Crunch!!

Crunch!!!

The crunching noises that seemed to be coming from a very close distance away from him made his temporary daze be cut short as Jin finally gathered his bearings as he now realized what his body was currently doing.

His body which was not anywhere near the lake he previously resided by before taking in the memories, was kneeling next to the dead bodies of the Demonic Duo.

If that was not enough, Jin's mouth was biting down on the now-dead bodies of the duo as he uncontrollably ripped out the flesh of these beings and chewed it before swallowing it down his esophagus.
